Jonathan Diller, a 31-year-old father and husband killed Monday during a traffic stop in Queens, was laid to rest following a funeral in Massapequa. News 4's Jessica Cunnington reports.
The criminal justice system failed the Diller family. He should be alive sharing Easter with Stephanie and the baby. Letting monsters run loose to kill is despicable. Just like the one who killed the New Mexico highway patrolman last week as he had already killed a woman in South Carolina.
Nice job NBC. No mention that Kathy Hocl was asked to leave the wake, or how the suspect has been arrested over 20 times. It was a failure of government for not prosecuting the suspect for his other crimes. Officer Diller should be alive and with his family.

“Before we start protecting them?” What is she talking about? I’m sad about her husband…but cops get all the protections they need and want. The general public should have it as good as the cops - most of us aren’t armed and we are 99.9% of the deaths at the hands of criminals…by contrast, cops make up 0.1% of criminal deaths.
But still officers risk their lives everyday they deal with lot more than average person out there & still very very sad. Citizens r allowed to b armed also for protection only not to shoot someone careless. Never should these things happen to officers . Never

No one cares if he was a conservative. He is a decent human who died serving us no matter what. Nobody cares really about political affiliations until Trump. Everyone was decent in his/her political opinions.
Extremely sad to hear when these brave men and women are attacked and killed doing their duty. I question why anyone in America would sign up for this type of work with the excessive amount of guns floating around there. Be safer fighting in a war zone.
