Love the unique voice of Lauren Wood. This song was a perfect choice for the movie. This song is one that will seldom come around in a lifetime. Lyrics, melody, and vocals mesh so beautifully together. Quite amazing! This gave me goosebumps and literally caught my attention and stopped me in my tracks when I first heard it. Very few songs appeal to me like that. I believe a special inspiration---be it a person or experience helps to yield such creations like these. This is a timeless classic!
I was living with truly the love of my life when this song came out.. divorced four years later, my heart was broken.STILL love this song and think of him. Life Goes On..
Lauren Wood is a genius. I wish I could find her on social media. This song is brilliant BUT her voice is absolutely amazing in an of itself. I love her sound. I thought the original recording was good but this is even better with her voice. I even love this song done even as an instrumental on saxophone. This song is truly a classic!!! Thank you Lauren Wood!!!
Who would of told you when you were writing this song it would be such a HUGE hit...This song is simply a beautiful song and your voice is perfect for it.. many thanks JB
as far as i can tell lauren is transgender. i am i big time record collector and have some of "her" albums from way back. as you listen to them you can hear her transitioning between male and female vocals. the same can be said of her photos she is transitioning between the sexes. quite interesting and a testament to the artistic value of transgenders....lil bro
@@sacollectiblesii no, I don’t think so. She was born Ilene Rappaport . She uses feminine pronouns and I think over time her voice got sultry . She is a lesbian but I can’t find anything that she transitioned to a male. There is a transgender person on insta that uses her name but the age does not match Lauren.
Such a unique voice! This is when it all comes together just right and makes for a sonic feast. Her voice, the music and lyrics all combine to make such delicious sounding music! Thanks for uploading.
Dear Lauren Woods Haven sent Cupid and all the love Angels to give you such lyrics and instrumentals for this song. As a Writer, Singer and instrumentalists, never felt soooo captivated by a song which indeed took my breath away. It reaches deep down to the pit of my soul and bones so beautifully. There's no words to describe the way it makes me fill and today it sounds as if it's my first time being exposed l still exuberant takes me to a plato l've been never experienced. This song is truly a masterpiece and lm soooo elated you listened to the most high and recorded it. Hats off, take your bow . To the Actor & Actress Mr. Richard G. and Julia Roberts who actually made me believe in my dream come true. Now l'm depending on my Mr. D.eam Merchant to make all my dreams come true. You know who you are. I can't get over you, and l can't believe how l have fallen for YOU!!!!!!! I'LL BE WORTH THE WAIT🍀🌷
One of my favorite songs. Love Lauren's husky voice. Great soft background music never overwhelming the vocals, but enough to create a calm and yet opposingly stimulating rhythm, with wonderful use of keyboards to enhance the oozing sexiness that the entire song projects with Lauren's voice. A masterpiece.
When I head this song at the end of the film all I could do was cry. I realized that I wanted that story to keep going. I wanted Lauren to be singing in the next chapter because the song said so much about the real impact that really falling in love can have in one's life. But the real deal is the way Lauren send the message which is that something has made is way clean to the bone. And these chicks got so much soul they don't know what to do with it....I think I would fall in love with Lauren....just beautiful all over!!!!
I love this recording! Since the first time I heard it on the movie! Which I have watched UMPTEEN TIMES... Love it as much each time. This song is one of my favorite 'inLove' Songs. It will endure the test of time in love 💕😘
OMG! I always thought a black man sang this song. Such a beautiful piece of music. Of course, it's her voice that makes work. Now that I know who sings it, I love it even move. This woman is amazing. I'm going to have to hear more of her stuff. A true classic.
My two favorite songs from the Pretty Woman soundtrack as well. I bought the soundtrack just to get the Peter Cetera song, but Lauren's song was also great.
I've fallen in love with Lauren's husky voice, which makes her stand out from the crowd of similar singers with a husky singing voices too. She's unique and this IS her signature song from the "Pretty Woman" OST.
omg I was born in 1983. And when I saw the movie. this song was what made me fall in love with the movie.. they are the best....real music. I'm so happy I ran across this song

Lauren Wood once said "This song changed my life." Oh yeah. You write the hit song from one of the biggest Hollywood hit movies ever? That would do it!! Plus its just a great groove sung by an enormously talented artist. How could it not be life changing?
