okay so I've fallen into Falling in reverse reactions wormhole and I've watched like 5 hours of reactions today. this is by far the most genuine one. the second you went on a rant about people being different and it not being a phase I hit the sub button! thanks for stepping outside of your comfort zone, made great content!
I’m glad he has her I’m just worried because Chester Bennington didn’t really have anybody and that’s why he’s gone now and I don’t want that to happen here
Martin Barkaway Nielsen Do you know what I mean it feels like nobody cares at times like you’re alone in the world even with all the family you have I know that feeling well.
These guys are masters of the switch up styles, I recommend you listen to “drugs” by them next. Also that girl is his daughter, and you’re right bout her role of bringing him back to normal from the “monster” in him.
On another note, Preach my brother! You go to professionals to try to get help cuz you finally accept that you need it, and these mfs don’t do their jobs and it can eventually cause someone to snap and hell will break loose one way or another
Hey there, awesome reaction, just wanted to pop in and respond to your comment at 4:15 - I understand your argument, but I would like to say that you can learn to understand screamed vocals. Every singer is different and has his own style and the more you listen to them, the more you get the feel for it. I like to compare this to a speaking disability - if you just met someone, you likely have no idea what they saying, but if your aunt has it, you probably learn to understand her just fine. Works the same with screamed vocals. Cheers mate
Every newbie always have that same reaction on the opening scene. Also, every newbie has that same reaction with the rap to metal transition. Also, laughing that you don't like the screaming lol...and yes that's his daughter.
Really dig this banger need to check out "Losing my mind" "Losing my life" and "Drugs" all songs tie togeather to tell a story...Great upload my dude..🤘😎🤘
I really like this song a lot and I know metal music is not everyone’s cup of tea but for me I listen to quite a bit of metal music and usually if I don’t understand them I just look up the lyrics and you can usually hear them clear as day. I enjoy rap music to and I love that some artist’s nowadays are mixing them together great reaction bro keep up the awesome work
The funniest thing is that I’ve been listening to metal for like 6ish years and now I can pick out the lyrics without even looking most times. Different types of screams are harder/easier but it’s pretty easy these days.
Madison Riley's Spam/Channel i totally agree with you most of the time I can understand them but if it is a little bit harder I look up the lyrics and then see how much my brain remembers
@@RiddleAlucard I don't know you but I'm proud of you. I just lost my dad in October and honestly gaming, anime and music are the only things helping me to cope
@@brittk3881 thank you and I'm sorry to hear that I don't really talk to my dad he's actually why I drank so I can't really say I know how you feel but I can see how much that would suck but yea music games and anime are huge influences in my life got me through alot.. if u don't mind me asking what system do u play on
That's his daughter, and if you watch the video you see the bright light behind her. He's basically saying his daughter is his light to bring him out of the darkness. In the chorus he says he's searching for a way out. Well that door she's standing in was the exit to that room. It all means something. Ronnie (the lead singer) has referred to her in many songs that she's the only thing keeping him sane.
Fwiw its just him endlessly facing those walls and challenges that lead him to that point. Such an amazing song. The young girl in the movie is his daughter. Willow
Agreed. Any genre. If the lyrics have substance & the singer gives their heart & soul to that song, I'm gonna love it. From Prince to Slipknot, I'm all in...
You'll like the Falling in Reverse trilogy, in order: Losing My Mind, Losing My Life, then Drugs. Their song Alone is also really good. Ronnie is a master at mashing multiple genres together.
Ironic how people who bash us for having these harmless hobbies that keep us sane and happy are the same ones who have boring lives and their only escape is alcohol/partying .
The little girl is his daughter, Willow. Ronnie has a very rough past that includes drugs, prison, and a lot of bad decisions that have negatively impacted him. He credits Willow as his motivation for cleaning up his life and his refreshed creativity.
You gotta watch more of his music, especially Losing my Life, Losing my Mind, Drugs. You'll love em all from a production standpoint and the mix of the genres.
he’s together with Paige from WWE and that’s his daughter in the video at the end. he’s absolutely amazing, been listening to him since middle school back in 2006, I’m 30 now 😩
Bro this is a great way for those not into rock/metal to get your feet wet! I grew up purely rock/alternative/metal. Of course my age (39) we all listened to Eminem but that was cause his lyrics were off the wall, but he started my venture to rap. Then found Tech N9ne and went down the rabbit hole! I love so many genres and I am grateful for it! I still prefer my metal but I love music and finding the right bands to spread your taste into other genres is a great thing! You just got to find the similarities! Obviously the singing and the in your face instruments can be much for some but rock has great instrumental and lyrics (for most part and if you can understand them haha)
I'm just learning about him (Ronnie Radke) as well. Def check out the trilogy mentioned below. His daughter Willow is in 2 of those videos as well. Ronnie has had a rough life, including some prison time. Becoming a father really helped him. He just posted a Twitch live stream of the 2 of them reacting to Falling in reverse videos on the band's channel. It's funny and cute. The channel "Punk Rock MBA" did a video on him somewhat recently that I thought was interesting.
Lyric Yeah I wake up every morning with my head up in a daze I'm not sure if I should say this, fuck, I'll say it anyway Everybody tries to tell me that I'm going through a phase I don't know if it's a phase, I just wanna feel okay, yeah I battle with depression, but the question still remains Is this post-traumatic stressing or am I suppressing rage? And my doctor tries to tell me that I'm going through a phase Yeah, it's not a fucking phase, I just wanna feel okay, okay? Yeah, I struggle with this bullshit every day And it's probably 'cause my demons simultaneously rage It obliterates me, disintegrates me, annihilates me 'Cause I'm about to break down, I'm searching for a way out I'm a liar, I'm a cheater, I'm a non-believer I'm a popular, popular monster I break down, falling into love now with falling apart I'm a popular, popular monster I think I'm going nowhere like a rat trapped in a maze Every wall that I knock down is just a wall that I replace I'm in a race against myself, I try to keep a steady pace How the fuck will I escape if I never close my case? Oh my God, I keep on stressing, every second that I waste Is another second sooner to a blessing I won't take But my therapist will tell me that I'm going through a stage Yeah, it's not a fucking stage, I just wanna feel okay, okay Motherfucker, now you got my attention I need to change a couple things 'cause something is missing And what if I were to lie? Tell you everything is fine Every single fucking day I get closer to the grave, I am terrified I fell asleep at the wheel again Crashed my car just to feel again It obliterates me, disintegrates me, annihilates me 'Cause I'm about to break down, I'm searching for a way out I'm a liar, I'm a cheater, I'm a non-believer I'm a popular, popular monster I break down, falling into love now with falling apart I'm a popular, popular fucking monster Yeah, here we go again, motherfucker, oh We're sick and tired of wondering Praying to a god that you don't believe We're searching for the truth in the lost and found So the question I ask is Oh, where the fuck is your god now? 'Cause I'm about to break down, I'm searching for a way out I'm a liar, I'm a cheater, I'm a non-believer I'm a popular, popular monster I break down, falling into love now with falling apart I'm not a popular, popular monster I'm a liar, I'm a cheater, I'm a non-believer I'm a popular, popular monster
Both rap and metal are intense expressions of pure human emotion bro, differences lie mostly in where the musicians focus their technical skills. The emotions have a lot of overlap. I'm more of a metalhead but I totally like me some solid rap too. PS: nothing wrong with a Death Note tshirt :D respect
This is the 4the installment in a 4 part series. Losing my mind Losing my life Drugs Popular monster He also released a hip hop mixtape called Watch Me. Dude can spit fire.
Shout out to your comparrison of death metal vocals to mumble rap. A large part of what is to be appreciated of music, from the perspective of the writer, is feeling the lyrics as well.
This band is a mix of rap rock metal and techno in some songs also the screamo that you were talking about is mostly in death metal heavy metal and metal has light screamo which is basically the same thing but you can understand it I've been a metal head since I was like 3 I'm 20 now the first music I listened to was metal cause my mom and dad are metal heads
Greg Frank's suggestion for the trilogy is most excellent. Another suggestion? The Drug In Me Is You/The Drug In Me Is Reimagined combo. Same song with two totally different renditions separated by what? Nine years? YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. Spread those wings, Mr. MDG. I'm nearly 59 and STILL hearing and listening to new music I love. If I can do it, you can, too. :D
Wow I really loved your reaction to this. Please react to more of falling in reverse. They're my favorite band and if you're into rap, Ronnie (the vocalist) is really good at it. You should definitely check out Never the same, Armor, Fair weather fans, destiny, devil. They're the ones where he raps.
Welcome to the Rabbit Hole!!!! 🤘💀🤘 Ronnie Radke is the mastermind behind Falling in Reverse!!! There is a trilogy of songs... The order is Loosing my Mind Loosing my life Drugs Love how you were reacting in this! Earned a sub!!! Hope to see more Falling in Reverse!!!🤘
Best reaction to this song I’ve seen and I’ve seen a lot !!!! A true, genuine reaction not like all the others I see that you can tell are faked and not real. Awesome job man, react to losing my mind, losing my life, drugs and superhero by falling in reverse too please man they’re amazing !!
Yeah, a lot of the really good heavy metal/rock groups are good because they can put their emotions in with a powerful message in their songs. Falling in Reverse, Skillet, and Disturbed are three really good ones.
He was drug addicted. His all song descripe his way of life and that he lost all by his drug addiction. This little girl showin there is his girl. She helps him to goon through all this creepy stuff. He conzentrate to give his daughter more attention and goin to be clean or he is already clean idk in the moment.
Please do some more falling in reverse!! Great reaction :D I didn't see any others on your channel, but I'd recommend the trilogy: Losing My Mind, Losing My Life, and then Drugs (in that order), and then also The Drug In Me Is Reimagined (Listen to the original first, lots of people react to both in one sitting, it's a remake on an original song he did 10 years ago), and then I Am Not A Vampire (Revamped) - same with the original version. Would love to see more :D I also see you like Hunter x Hunter, a man of taste I see.
You're 23 by now? Damn man, legit thought you were 30 or something xD Nice reaction, and so genuine. When you went on that rant about people being different, I felt that. And when the part of the werewolf came up, your expression was very similar to mine when I watched the vid. Also, if you're looking for something else to listen to that somewhat goes in the same direction as this song, might I recommend Starset? They're on of my most favourite bands ever, and presonally think they have no bad song whatsoever, but the first one I listened to was "My Demons". Or for diversity, I can recommend "Down with the Fallen", "Telepathic", or "Manifest". Those are some songs from across their three albums, but I can genuinly say that every song kicks hard.
It's his daughter, the guy has issues like most of us. His daughter willow is what keeps him grounded and under control. If that makes sense, he had a rough childhood and stuff. He swears he would be the best father to his only daughter, despite, the fact the mother won't let him see her.
Lol.. Im 38 and I still watch anime regularly , I literally grew up on anime from the 80s on. In my opinion sometimes they have better story lines and the voice actors can bring out more emotion
Even though I'd love to see more Rustage videos , it's nice to see you mix it up , and the song was amazing , would definitely love to see more of them !
The little girl is his daughter, Willow, man. They have a trilogy of music videos that tells a deep story, and they are conected. The songs are Losing My Mind, Losing My Life and Drugs. Pls react to this, you're gonna love it...
When you say he's spittin bars, yeah ronnie can rap. Check out "Losing my life" if you wanna see a bit more of what he's capable of when it comes to flow. And as a lot of people said already, "Losing my mind", "losing my life", and "drugs" are a cinematic trilogy. He flows pretty smooth in most of them. Oh and btw man, your reactions are so deep and genuine, it's REALLY appreciated. Keep up the work my dude.
yes it was his actual daughter Willow... especially due to what's usually on the channel some good ol' nerd and weeb content (which i love btw xD) you need to check out the song Game Over by Falling In Reverse it's one of their older songs but it's right up your alley keep up the great content
