I fully empathize with Nick and Nate is just flat out wrong on "Breath of the Wild clone" shit. The exploration is better, graphics look nicer, it's not limited to the Switch(it's also free), characters are mostly well written and interesting, combat is a lot more diverse, the world is just fucking massive and beautiful(and it's not even done yet), music is just nuts, the Chinese theorycrafters are having a field day with character and team builds and there's almost always something to do. It's almost overwhelming how much stuff there is in this game.

Man, no one tell Nate BoTW didn't invent shit, just... used already existing ideas and game mechanics... wait a minute, i thought it was only genshin that borrowed from other games. Could it be that not even BoTW is original? At some point you gotta stop trying to reinvent the wheel and focus on building other parts of your car. That's what Genshin did, it took already existing mechanics from BoTW, laid the groundwork so to speak, and started working from there. And they seem to be doing a good job, seeing how popular genshin has become and how different it is compared to BoTW

You know what's great about this genshin react video? The fact that I got Honkai Impact 3rd, and genshin impact ads! Whoo!! And I'm a Xin Yan main ever since I got her not even a week into the game as my physical DPS and maining her until lvl90 friendship lvl10. until Inazuma 2.0, I've main a triple claymore team of Eula, Beidou, and Xinyan.

NB: if you want to compare Genshin to another game, compare it to a Tales Of game. The game is nothing like Breath of the Wild. Breath of the Wild has scenery. Genshin has scenery. So do millions of other games. Genshin is heavily focussed on character and story. BotW is not. BotW is _all_ about immersion into the physical world. Genshin is not. /opinion from someone who has played and loves _both_ games. I realise the opinion of those who have only played BotW may differ.

I remember one video where Nick said something that was along the lines of comparing Genshin Impact to Raid Shadow Legends, and now look what has happened!😈 Again, the difference is that you can do SO MUCH MORE in Genshin instead of just “enemy pops out, press button, maybe wait a bit, move forward, repeat.” And before you say that combat in Genshin is like that, just the world is different, then let me say that you could describe EVERY ACTION GAME like that! Lastly, while Nate has a point about Genshin using the gliding and climbing mechanics in BotW, that doesn’t mean that it’s automatically a ripoff. The combat in Genshin IS different, but whether it’s BETTER than BotW is up to the type of gamer you are. If you like games that more challenging and test your adaptability every battle, then you’ll likely consider BotW to have better combat. If you wanna just go in, MAYBE use some shielding, healing, and elemental strategies, but mostly just get the fights over with to progress an (arguably better) story, then Genshin is better for you. Either way, for a game that can be played completely FOR FREE (it would just be slower than paying), Genshin Impact is a damn good game!

I've been a subsequent Genshin player for some time now. My sister got me into it, and I'm the essential manager of her PS5 account, and this hole is way too deep to escape from, almost as bad as Fortnite. (PS for people who also have fell down this hole, I tried pulling for Nahida, and I ended up with Dehya instead. I'm prepping for Baizhu now)

I played Genshin Impact, and I had to be honest with the team when she swapped Kaeya with Ayaka was a good idea. Because eventually, you will need two teams for a purpose. I only used four people the whole time, and when I started to build the second one, it took a lot away from me, so a bit of advice, if you want to have two teams, start by choosing two dps and two support for each team, so the rest of the other four will use less resource for the maximum outcome.

Oh no... Another one have fallen into the rabbit hole. But the deeper Nic went into Genshin Impact, he will exposed to other Gacha games as well such as the recent release Honkai Star Rail, GI competitor; Wuthering Waves, and even one of the oldest unforgiving Gacha hell of all, Fate Grand Order. Looking forward for you guys to try out venturing to other games that related to Genshin and the Gacha games category.
