Special Encounters can be both good or bad based on how high or low your luck is.
Cafe of Broken Dreams, A Crashed Shuttle, A Guardian Portal, A Giant Stone Head, A Herd of Brahmin, King Arthur's Knights, A Lone Surviving Dog, A Man Guarding A Bridge, The Remains of a Whale, A Tin Woodsman, Toxic Waste Dump, Unwashed Villagers Hunting a Spammer.

Also please forgive the slow bits of the video. It isn't my computer it is the recording program I used. It disagrees with the older Fallouts for some reason I don't understand.

The whale remains are from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I love that they put this sort of love into their game; artists probably spent quite a while creating their original content; content that could be missed entirely. These days, you don't seem to get many games that have such depth. I mean, if they can make extra content and charge for DLC, why stick something in that you might not even see? :-/

James Kerrigan yeah, that's the unfortunate part of modern games, models, textures, etc are expensive to make for something that's a one off. plus the dev time....... it's too bad. always loved the little easter eggs you could find in older games.

Bethesda wouldn't ever be able to get away with direct references like these. Best they can muster up is Monty Python references and some other pop culture references. But they can't hope to ever recreate a Star Trek crash sight or a Guardian of Forever portal in HD. To much work and too many copyright issues. >_>

Yes. They were supposed to be in Fallout 2 as well but got cut. Developers of Fallout 2 worked on New Vegas.

Fraps is shaiza with Fallout 2 and 1. I'd personally use Bandicam for these retro (because retro means old but cool) classics.

Lol that‘s pretty cool, I really liked the overall look of Fallout 1 and 2 more then Fallout 3 or 4, like of courde they have more detail but in Fallout 2, you have those gigantic citys with most buildings looking the same and stuff, in Fallout 4 you have tons of colours everywere

yea fallout 4 looks like nuclear devastation wasn't that bad. In F1 and 2 it really shows the destruction and emptyness it has created. Much better immersion and atmosphere

If you're lucky enough to get the Bridgekeeper early on it pretty much breaks the game. One time I got him in between Arroyo and Klamath. Made the early part of the game like killing the rat god so easy.

They should grab this game, re-skin it, and make it even deeper, with more special random encounters, and more detailled and varied descriptions on the pip-boy, to make it even more novel-like. Just grab what it already has, add a few or many extra new things, and make it even more inmersive than it is.

Morten Bakke They just drop their weapons. Its best to let the rabbit/rat kill them when you see them later and then kill the rat with a crit to the eye. You get the holy hand grenade, later, too

You missed the sequel one to king arthur one where they encounter the 'vorpal rat' and in the cave is the holy hand grenade which you can take and run off, i dont recommend fighting the rat tbh

People tell me that vehicles are not something that fit in the fallout universe, while I like that like "WHAT?" then i point towards fallout 1 and 2 also if the sir aruthur's knights are looking for hte holy hand grenade they may want to try vegas but I am surprised with how fallout was made otu I am surprise that there is no faction group remaking itself as middle age knights with guns

I got a 4TB memory computer, state of the art processor, power supply, and all that other stuff, it run on my Windows 7 but what sucks, is that it has these stupid random colours all over the screen on white coloured objects. I have original disc from all that long ago and version 1.0. XD Probably why.
