So basically, just head north from the minefield until you reach a powerstation. Keep heading north following the electrical towers and you'll eventually find it :D
>be me >watch a video that has an annotation informing me it has a high quality setting >scroll down to the options >quality only goes up to 480 >mfw i literally turned into the Indiana Jones of RU-vid
Also, there's an Alien Blaster in the Enclave's mobile base crawler (broken steel add on), in the armoury, the "Armoury Master" has a Precision Gatling Laser and unique "composite" recon helmet, the blaster is in a "Hard" locked crate and ammo for it is in "Average" locked boxes, there's ammo for it in the room before you get the Tesla Coil, too (add on)
David Reynolds, one of the map creators for Fallout 3 was also a programmer for the game "Destroy All Humans." The Alien and his spaceship resemble Krypto and his spaceship.
The Alien Blaster is 1 of the 2 weapons in the game you can find always at the crashsite. The other one - I believe - is called the "Firelance" which is rumored to only be found by a random UFO crash encounter, which is supposely supposed to be the most powerful energy weapon in the game.
Thx for vid m8, 1 question, any1 know where to get more ammo for when it runs out, or does it just spawn at that location that you got them from every so often?
I think you can find it also randomly exploding out of nowhere, i had it near Anchorage memorial, just heard an explosion and power cells flying all around, found blaster too.
An incredibly useful weapon, I've found. It can easily stop most of the fiercer enemies in the game. I try to conserve the ammo, but it's often tempting to use it on the run-of-the-mill raider.
If you downloaded Mothership Zeta before you picked up the alien blaster, can you still get it somehow? I have yet to play the Mothership Zeta missions.
Man this was cool. I had already used the cheat to get the gun and cells but going to the crash in my second time playing was cooler. Thanks for the vid!
@109chris109 well the two places I found the most ammo west west of vault 106. when you go that way there is a really big crater with a flipped truck inside of it that has a bunch of blaster rounds. next is fort independence.when you into the downstairs door that is in front you go into the basement. look around till you find a door with a hard lock i think. Open and there are ammo crates with the blaster rounds, also there is a unique missle launcher called "miss launcher".
I wanna get this game, but can someone clear something up for me? So it's impossible to obtain every item in the game because your character can't carry all that weight? So for rare items you stumble upon like this alien gun, you have to throw it away or use up all the ammo- and you can't get anymore of the precious ammo?
If you have Mothership Zeta, get dogmeat, bring dogmeat to the crash site, tell him to find you a weapon, then tell him to find you ammo. Stay far enough that you don't get abducted.
I was north of the power station and I went around and I saw this green thing hit a big electrical thing and I found alien power cells on the floor, but cant find the space ship...help?
actually they were loaded up in 2077. its an alternative history that diverges from ours in the 1950s and is based off of what people in the 1950s thought 2077 would look like, in the Golden Age of Science Fiction. In 2077 there was a resource war that escalated when the US annexed Canada and China invaded Alaska. The Great War last 2 hours yet contained more energy than every other war before it combined. The Enclave (US government) waited it out and sent people to vaults who left decades later
@superaledlegacy9 nope when you get the mothership zeta dlc you are taken when you go near the spaceship but you can get the alien blaster and stuff from around the ship
@TheSpoov this is cuz you have the mothership zeta dlc so u cant get it but if u got the brotherhood of steel dlc theres one in the airport place in the last mission with like 90 bullets :D
i found this before i knew about it. i heard the radio and was like huh, im gonna check this shit out. when i found the saucer i got chills. this game is epic
btw idk if it was a glitch but there is a earlier opportunity to get this weapon near the mart a bomb goes off and leaves a blaster and 4 or 5 shots this way is better because you get more ammo
know in the same room theres another computer with information on all the vaults it says i have to go there in a quest but theres nothing on the computer to help me
Note to all: When you pick up this gun a reaction happens that means a random event can happen and you will hear a loud bang and you should be able to see a UFO crash.. This is the only other source of ammo for this gun and its totally random!
there is also an alien blaster in the broken steal DLC, when you get into the mobile base and are trying to get the the launch pad, walk around untill you find the armory. you have to pick the lock and inside there are some amo boxes that you can pick for about 20 more power cells and another blaster. the mother ship zeta DLC is probably gonna be hard cus all the enmies are aliens, so will probably have alien blasters :/
Yeah, I looked it up again; it's in the Pentagon in the archive, on the terminal designated as the Pentagon Security Terminal (or something similar). There's that and a few other notes.
@monster43ification No, but there is some but not enough to have your trusty advanced radiation suit with so don't worry. If I remember right it's like 1-3 radiations(RADS) per second. Hoped I helped!
