The enclaves(president eden) goals in f03 were to completely wipe out all lifeforms that have been infected by radiation so that only pure humans(enclave descendants) would survive. How is that any different from the BoS wiping out any specie/race they deem "unpure".

Danse is a good guy, but he's a little bit brainwashed by BoS and has the most obnoxious and annoying lines in the game. After he discovers he is a synth he changes for better, yet the Bethesda was too lazy to change his dialogue so he acts as Paladin Danse pre-synth -_-

He literally tells the vault tec rep that he should be killed to his face when you offer him a place in Sanctuary.

@@thepoliticalgunnut8018 Yeah I think the reason why he acts nice to the ghouls at the slog but says he hates the Vault-Tec rep to his face is to keep up appearances. If he acted like an asshole at the Slog that would probably result in bad reputation of the BoS in the Commonwealth since a lot of normal humans in game know about the Slog and even praise it. But since the Vault-Tec rep is all by himself and doesnt really interact with anyone in Goodneighbor, Danse probably saw no reason to hold back his bigotry and decided to get some enjoyment out of shaming him

@@thepoliticalgunnut8018 I’m 90% sure the reason he said that is not so much because he’s a ghoul, and more because he’s an employee of Vault Tec. You can hear Danse’s disdains for them earlier in the game. That’s what his hatred is directed towards

Paladin Danse was a douche from start to finish who took everything way too seriously. I only sparred him out of pity. He's a useful companion though.

Super Saiyan Goddess Paladin danse is an soldier to the core, having seen the brutality of the capital wasteland and the battle for the purifier, he's seen some Shit he can't take back. I think he's earned a right to be serious. He also flirts with Cait

The only reason i spared him is that he's a walking tank with that power armor and my modded laser rifle i gave him

We get to see where Dogmeat's loyalties lie later on. If you join the Brotherhood, he salutes Maxson at the end of his briefing when you first meet him.

I agree with you, but in the interest of accuracy I have to point out that the Brotherhood never was Lyons' Brotherhood. The DC chapter pretty much abandoned the Brotherhood's mission and decided to help the people of the Capitol Wasteland. A lot of the members disagreed with that but stuck around, and a lot disagreed and became the Outcasts. It's been a while since I played FO3 but I remember NPCs telling you that the DC chapter wasn't sticking to the BoS mission, and IIRC weren't there terminal entries talking about how the BoS leadership was less than impressed with Lyons deciding to do his own thing? BoS in FO3 was nothing like BoS in FO1 and 2. Whether that's a good thing or a bad thing is a matter of opnion. IMO, it was good to see the Brotherhood change and evolve, especially since they've had a while since FO2 to build their strength. I didn't like certain aspects of the FO4 BoS much, most notably Maxson and how they want you to strong-arm farmers for supplies.

Actuly they had allready integrated in with rivet cities leadership by time u wake up in broken steel plus its almost identical their anti ghoul anti synth beleifs are also in fallout 3 they shoot ghouls on sight in the mall

I never got to join them. Because i play survival from day one. And with no Power Armor the game is still as easy as fuck... I want to start a BoS character but EVERYONE! hates them. Curie just doesn't know them. As soon as she does. I bet you she will hate you too... Any Advice? on what companion i need (Other than Danse) I usually solo Fallout and Skyrim. But i really want to try companions...

I always play for the Minutemen and the Railroad. I'm against everything the BOS stands for (except their technology, which I'll steal)

Curie and Codsworth like it when you join. They both like helping the brotherhood, except for killing off the railroad. Only Cait and Macready and Strong like doing that.

Maliciously Delicious Cait and codworth will find something redeeming in all factions. Remember their loyalties are to you, and will find something they like about whoever you join

Paladin Danse likes the Brotherhood.

Strong doesn't have as much dialogue as most other companions.

Funny enough i didnt know who these guys where because i never played fallout my cousin just gave it to me since he had playstation on the new Vegas was for Xbox(which i had) so he gave it to me and when i played it i just went with mr house since i didnt know i could get any other ending at that time and just slaughtered the lot of them it took a lot of stempacks and reparing guns and armor but i did it and then after that i didnt realized i could have sided with them or the ncr but that its all good now

daft danny_jr_96 you can join all the factions but when you progress enough there will be a point of no return where you only have your faction that you progressed with that will be friendly but the Minutemen will still be friendly cause you're the general

Not exactly. They likely opened console command "showlooksmenu" and saved Cait as a player preset.

I think the minutemen part of the game is more of a role-playing thing. Your character is suppose to decide the attacks with the flare gun and artillery support. They really did need to flesh out the minutemen's rank and play mechanics. Rony Shaw shouldn't have been giving the speeches... your character should have been. They needed a thing where you could tell Preston that they were taking on a site and to have minutemen meet at a nearby location for an attack and then as general you decide how to take on the defenses of the location. Kinda like taking over the castle but for raider camps. There was a lot of lost potential in the game.

Sadly Almost EVERYONE. Hates them EVEN CAIT! I mean Cait Does not mind being evil. Why does she hate them? Just because they are toy soldiers? And poor Curie... She will instantly hate you if you stick around them too much XD. But she LOVE the Railroad. Don't listen to the fandom. Its some evil guy who likes to lie in-game. Made people thinks she hate the Railroad. She really love the railroad... My affinity with her was like friendship. And as soon as i joined. (Acting like a saint) I instantly heard her say (I love you...) Just be a Saint... Tho i want to start a new play through as a BoS member. Sadly i noticed almost everyone hates them. i said almost because Danse does not hate them. At least not at the start... This much hate is killing it for me. Tho i solo in Fallout. But can't i just have a damn companion who supports me for once? wtf?
