I wish with the automaton dlc you could collect its head and rebuild it and it becomes either a trader settler for wepons your own personal kelo or a nice companion
I love robots so when I saw the assaultron I cried a bit and swore to kill Kellogg but before that i went back to my settlement and built a assaultron I consider it that broken assaultron
ARCHMAGOS DECIUS KRONEN tbh, their voices calm me down :) I love Assaultrons so much that I'm currently making a large enough artwork to print on a blanket xD
Dumb auto correct on phones. I changed the auto correction and it changed it again when I posted the comment. and I can't even edit a comment on my phone for some reason
i started the nuka world questline and on the way to the station i mowed down a bunch of gunners with my explosive minigun since they were all bunched up together, they all got torn to shreds and a car blew up in the background. out of the fire an assaultron crawled out of the fire without legs and its last words were "damn you humans and your war mongering" UGH it was so sick that's why i ended up here lmao
I had some mods installed and had a similar occurance, cause of the mods after the explosion it was glowing like molten mental and it just said "death is inevitable", I 100% recommend improved robot mods
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks so. I think all synths, assaultrons, and Mr. Handy/Mr. Gutsy/ Miss Nanny robots should be given equal rights as humans if substantial civilization was ever started again.
+Justin Bird Well, there are plenty of Handys and Nannys who are just stuck in their programming. The ones we meet that actually have something to say are likely corrupted, judging from the things they say at you while attacking on sight. There's only one Sentry Bot that's actually sapient enough to talk, and he's a little busy hanging high. Though from the looks of it, society usually allows machines of any kind into their home if they're reasonable and safe enough to keep around. Like KLEO, Sarge (for a while), that noodle chef in Diamond City, plus a few more I can't remember.
Salted Horse Meat But they all have the *potential* for sapience; the right circumstances just need to be met. They all have the same hardware, so I'd look at them as a species, and we give all humans equal rights, even the babies/kids who haven't fully developed and the mentally handicapped who never will.
Let's take a moment and imagine this. You are a Chinese foot soldier fighting during Anchorage or some other conflict and you just hear the Assualtrons voice and then watch this strange Humanoid robot run up to your squad and rip them apart in melee, you and what's left of your squad are horrorfied most American robots you fought were slow and usually fired at you from a range but this one is running and dogging and weaving, then the rest of your squad get cut in half by the fuck off face laser then the thing jumps on you and says some creepy shit with it's strange almost human voice before cutting your head off. I'd 100% be more scared of a Assualtrons than any Sentry Bot or Power armoured soldier
On top of it all, given the fact I'm Chinese so most likely speak a lick of English, if any at all, anything said is going to freak me out because I probably won't know what was said.
Just keep running to the side, apparently Robco never gave them interception programming or maybe it's the giant shift in brightness that makes the imaging sensors trip up a bit
in the Pentagon sometime before the great war: - "We need another combat robot." - "What should it do?" - "Kill. Kill very efficiantly. With a ... BIG LASER!" - "Okaaay. Anything else?" - "Make it cute." - "Cu- what" - " Sassy, female and big laser. Make it so."
5:04 “I’ve got a weapon here for every situation: hunting, protection, cold blooded murder... HOT blooded murder...” So... lust murder. you’re talking about lust murder, right?
Based on all the the variants and them being introduced in DLCs I'd say the Assaultron are going to be a new permanent ally or enemy type for new Fallout games...I hope.
+AverageGuard Lucas the antenna, cyclops eye and claw arms aren't fooling many. Except Hancock apparently, if he spots one he'll mistake her for a human girl before going 'oh shit' when he notices it's a rampaging robot.
Its interesting that assaultrons somehow dont have a simple personality. Also most of the assaultrons you find in the game have activated the safety protocols
I remember one day there were two Assaultrons, I was low on health and one was charging up it's eye beam when I heard it spurt out : "This fight was over before it began, human." Cue Piper one shotting it with a Railway Spike and proceeding to do the same to it's friend. Indeed, Assaultron, you stood no chance.
7:03 shit. Never hear that in my playthroughs - creepy and ominous if anyone got creative on building up a terrifying foe that got there first. ... And could still be there...
I can't believe that the voice actor is the same as Skyrim's Lydia (FemaleEvenToned) such a waste for a beautiful voice but I'm glad she's still working for Bethesda hope she appears again in TESVI as female character voice actor, love her voice.
1:49 Is what I imagine when a Raider hits the head of an Assaultron with something like a bat and the Assaultron's head turns slowly back on the Raider like the Terminator and the Raider is frozen in fear for a second there and hears that line being said and suddenly that metal hand pierces straight through the body of the Raider and the Assaultron picks him up like that and crushes his head with the other hand💀
That assaultron type with the blades and a stealth field is terrifying it can 1 shot you with the laser and the blades and you cant target it in vats if its in stealth mode
"Hostile combatant, reveal yourself, you are merely delaying the inevitable" I love that they held nothing back on this horrifying robot's voice lines, unlike the somewhat professional sentry bot voice lines
