This is the second part of my Building at Red Rocket series, which covers the construction of my settlement at Red Rocket Truck Stop. Apart from Place Everywhere no settlement object mods were used, and only uses vanilla and DLC objects.
In this video I create bar and covered seating area on the rooftop along with housing for the settlers. On top of this I build a second smaller settler house with a patio area overlooking Concord.

Do you build your settlements on one character first and then record building it on another? Or all on the same one?

They are all built on one character as I am hoping to end up with a save where every settlement has been built up. For each of the builds I save before doing anything, once I have everything planned out I'll go back to that save and record rebuilding the settlement.

How do you snap doorways onto wooden floors and if its a mod can you get it on xbox

If it’s something you cannot replicate its probably done with the Place Everywhere mod, the closest alternative for Xbox would be Place Anywhere.

How do you get so many recorces cause I wanna do this?

I have long since stopped ‘playing’ this save and just use it for building now, as such I add all my resources via console commands. Otherwise, you would need to go out to various locations and scavenge the resources you need, with some locations resetting after a certain number of in game days allowing them to be ‘farmed’ for junk. Alternatively, if you have a good method of making caps buying shipments from vendors is a quick way to build up a good pile of resources.

It's all done using the Place Everywhere mod: www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9424 If you are not playing on PC there are also console alternatives such as Place Anywhere for Xbox and QwaPa on PS.

Not totally sure what you mean? I do use the Place Everywhere mod to build if you are having issues trying to replicate this, could be totally wrong would but expect that corner wall piece to snap at that location without it.
