I was so excited for Fallout 76 that I edited together the Fallout 4 stream from just yesterday. I can't wait to visit Virginia!

I can imagine your character taking off their gas mask, and it's all horribly filthy and covered in old blood because of the constantly open wounds on his face.

The best part about Travis following you is he’s one of the best characters to have around since he doesn’t have any likes or dislikes and he won’t ever leave you or die. He won’t judge you if you kill people as long as it’s not in diamond city. And yes, you can complete the game with Travis. (I completed with the institute ending and he was with me along the way)

There are 3 NPCs you can get to follow you around forever: Travis, Preston, and XJ-9. Wait, no, that's not his name. That one courser whose designation starts with X. For Travis, just start his quest, meet up with him at the brewery, then don't finish the quest. Same thing with the other two, but Preston's is the one where you retake The Castle, just don't start the fight with the Mirelurk Queen. For X's, once you meet up with him for the first time, just turn around and walk away. Since you can't complete the main storyline without completing X's quest or betraying the Institute, you can't keep X all the way to the end. You can, however, have all 3, plus your companion, for all of the DLC.

I killed Travis and now that kid at diamond city who sells water is on diamond city radio.

dude I broke the SHIT out of this game when I started. the best glitch I've ever had kept me on the floor laughing for a few minutes. I was going around in the glowing sea and a radscorpion started attacking. I've got nick as my follower at this point in time, so he's doing his general duck and cover sort of fire method, but at one point he tries to take cover somewhere near the edge of a cliff, his goal location being right next to me (We're at the top of this cliff), and he manages to push the scorpion over to me with him as he walks. So now, he and I are at the edge of this cliff, and the scorpion is now slowly sliding down the edge of this steep cliff because he got pushed off. The scorpion eventually slid all the way down to the bottom, and then burrowed to try to get back up to us. So naturally, when it burrowed, I spun around to be ready for it when it's supposed to come back up in about two seconds. ...Problem is, it didn't come back up, so I'm there like "Where the hell did it go?" After a moment, nick aims up into the air, and I ask myself, "Oh god is there something flying up there?" **SUDDENLY, THE RADSCORPION FALLS OUT OF THE SKY AND DIES DUE TO FALL DAMAGE** Me: [Laughing my ass off for the next few minutes completely confused and surprised at the same time]

Travis wasn't doing so well the first time because he didn't go for a right hook. He went with a left hook, and the other guy got him with a right hook.

When you spam building for EXP, use wood shelves, they clips through each other so it looks like one shelf, but really its an infinite number of shelves. takes up less space too :)

He'd frustrate me in person, but I love Travis as a character. They really nailed the awkwardness.

Travis following you to the next mission reminded me of sao abridged. They did a whole joke about one dude making a guild with one girl and three ai helpers that follow him until he completes their quests that he has no intention of completing.

Now that I think about it, the poles in the ground are probably a really good defense as the NPC pathing is so bad that raiders probably won't be able to make it through.
