Was anyone else a bit gutted with only one settlement in Nuka World?

I did the Red Rocket sky gardens nursery with a sleeping quarters & two gardens on top.You can sink things in & i used the growing plots you got in the dlc.Got 15 people & only 3 shops but a bar,doctors & a gun shop will do.

After I watched this, I made those box car shacks not only on the roof for my local Minutemen commander, but around the farmland too, fitting two people each and they are closer to the farm.

The wooden foundation with the legs do kinda sink into the roof. If to start at the higher end with the really small wooden floors straight on the roof and build towards the flat it they will snap in and sink. They do show through on the forecourt where the petrol pumps are though

i love that when you scrap or move stuff in the red rocket, most of the grime and stuff on the floor disappears so it looks a lot cleaner thsn the one in the commonwealth

I sometimes use the steal beams to make supported overhangs with the warehouse roofs

I think I mentioned this before but I should show you the attempt I made at building a wall with barbed wire fence on top. Well, it's just wire fence but I was going for that 'keep out' aesthetic and it panned out pretty well. I'll tweet it at you.

The reason you couldnt snap the boxcar to the scaffolding is because the boxcar pieces requires the big square scaffolding frame, not the small ones.

Forgot how good your videos are , haven't played f4 for ages as I was waiting for ps4 mods , however I just bit the bullet and got it on pc (modest high-medium , settings ) .

looks good Davey although im not sure about having foundations on a steel roof ?also you should put an elevator going up to the roof ,it would suit the mayoral theme .

In my builds, I'm only using the Red Rocket roof for things that I want to be inaccessible to enemies (power sources and turrets, mainly). That said, I think I need to set up separate accommodations for the Pack and the Operators (since I whacked the Disciples).

i actually got the shack foundations and the scaffolding to sink into the roof of the red rocket...you first have to set them up on the deep end of the roof and then snap them on as you head toward the shallow end...the drawback is that as you go uphill with the foundations or the scaffolding...the legs pop out from the bottom of the ceiling as you snap them on. if i'm not mistaken i got about three or four deep before the workshop wouldn't allow me to add anymore...it kinda put me off because of the legs popping out...so i took it all down.

I mean.. for the sloped roof you could just stack floors and maybe add some small stairs and the such to make a elevated floor look

If you revisit this with mods. I made use of the slopped section by making a cool gun range using manicans and flush junk walls in the background and lights attached to light the area

lol you can long rug glitch stuff into the slope to put some stuff over there

I quickly noticed my follower wouldn't walk on the roof when I was building a house up there, I'm thinking there's no pathing on the roof. So, you're probably not going to see any people actually use the space up there unless they teleport into the buildings

maybe its playstation monkeying around but i did the scaffolding up top of red rocket yesterday (PC) and it does sink for me

I recently finished fallout 4 I played it for ages but I got real bored really fast so I quickly sped through nuka world was very disappointed aged my character to look old and "died".....................what I had an obsession with the game I had to finish my character off

I’m disappointed with Nuka world, my current player is a BoS Sentinel so it seems really weird to work with the raiders as over boss. That’s really my only complaint, I should make a build as strictly Raider. I wonder how Preston Garvey would like that lol.
