Davey! I can’t help but notice you mentioned the unique rounded corner piece each wooden prefab uses. Did you maybe, just maybe, take my suggestion from a previous video comment, hmm? Next you should use the two floor wooden prefab. I connected one to the barn floors (you can completely replace the bottom floor with warehouse or barn pieces starting from the door) and made it a set piece on a scrapped house foundation in Sanctuary, along with a windmill. I used the water generating windmill from USO and glitched a guard post in to make a guard tower. Just wanted to share my idea for all the inspiration you have given.
I do feel terrible for you but I also have to say it’s hilarious. Those scrapping mods are great but they do make it ridiculously easy to mess up your game. I’ve never scrapped the ocean but I have scrapped entire chunks of Sanctuary’s road.
I love your builds mate, I've been watching since the very beginning. Even though I stopped playing a while ago, I still watch your videos and I'm constantly amazed at how you can still make it feel fresh and new.
that would make a cool doctor's office/hospital. Doctor's office/surgery in the middle downstairs, overnight/long stay beds in the metal corridor parts for an easy and quick check up route, and the doctor's home upstairs.
The original video this structure was in was the first video I saw of yours. Pretty sure it’s the vid that made me subscribe too. Weird seeing this like 2 years later and how far your channel has come. Keep up the good work!
If you're looking for softer lighting, maybe try Weather Redux - Night Vision Pack. It's a stand alone meant to work for the darker nights in the Weather Redux mod, so it adds night vision goggles and the like. It also adds a few lights that are a bit softer, the hanging, single bulb, ceiling light and the caged wall light, each with a neutral or warm light option. They're less intense with a broader radius. The warm hanging light makes everything caramel deliciousness; rusty, dirty, caramel deliciousness. I can try to get you some screenshots.
Fuck yeah. love the ideas. Great banter as always! You ever think about using the workbench anywhere mod? I’d like to see your SS add to the Commonwealth
I hate it when stuff clip through house floors. Grass, bushes, rocks, dirt, etc. And it seems it doesn't bother anyone making builds for settlements. ^ ^"
StarlightFromAbys: It's not that it doesn't bother anyone. It's that, even with scraping mods, there's only so much you can actually do about it. The weeds are pervasive.
I love all of the work you do matter of fact between you, cordless VII, and oxhorn you guys are my Inspirations for most of my building. My question is this have you ever considered doing A PC run instead of on the PS4 4 settlement building using mods?
Yep. Oxhorn for lore and stories and Norespawns for settlement building. The OCD in me loves the fact that they're both still going strong this long after the game's release.
What if you did a bunch of filler shacks that were connected by the metal tubing? Essentially making one large structure segmenting small courtyards and housing to make a claustrophobic urban look
I really need to ask, how do u think of these ideas I can’t be creative like u, U inspire me to build but I can’t come up with anything. Can u give me some advice
Don't suppose anyone has a link to the trailer video he mentioned? (im totally not asking because im too lazy to go find it myself) ;P thanks much love
Also, I believe this mod may make for an excellent, small area to build. Always felt like it should have been a settlement anyways: bethesda.net/en/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/4024639
Does anyone know if the bodies in vault 88 despawn I want to do a unmodded play through but I don't want a bunch of ghoul bodies every where i know hangmans alley and sunshine tidings don't despawn is there anywhere else
