If you're curious why this video was re-released, there was a tiny editing error in the original, and it would have bugged me forever if I hadn't corrected it. This is identical to the original, aside from missing 0.25 seconds of black screen. If you preferred the version with 0.25 seconds of black screen, you can recreate the experience by closing your eyes for 0.25 seconds.

Also, if you wear Kells' hat, you get some fun secret dialogue from Brotherhood soldiers - which is hard to get otherwise, because there aren't many ways to get the hat without turning the brotherhood hostile

Well default robots stats are all stuck at 1's, but with a mod yo ucan add stats to them via certain parts

If you're not going to go full-in on settlement building, you might consider building a city planner desk and using a city plan. They're well planned and some settlements don't really work well done manually.

There's something really funny about The Ron's advertisement being an old damaged billboard, not something that seems more contemporary to the events of the game, implying that The Ron has been in business since before the apocalypse yet still looks exactly the same.

(18:27) In my experience, Abernathy Farm becomes a settlement after you complete the locket quest, and they join the Minutemen if you become the General. Looks like you just got a radiant quest for Abernathy Farm, since the Farm has already joined your settlement network. Also, Blake has no sense of distance: Taffington is not "just around the corner".

Robots tank your settlement happiness though as they still count as settlers but their happiness is locked at 50. Though not too sure that really even matters.

Not only does the camera come with custom reload animations, it also comes with a custom bash animation too. Though think if I remember right and it remains true it only happens in first person but it is a brilliant one.

Modders have the advantage of infinite time and being able to focus on whatever particular areas of the game they like, yeah. Ten years of work can lead to some great things. It's why coming back to Bethesda games after a few years and modding it is so good - the devs had to make an all-round done game in whatever deadline they were given, but now we can reap the rewards of a load of people each going "I want this thing to be better" and putting tons of time into giving that thing the polish and attention that the devs didn't have time for. Once you have somebody doing that for most of the problem the game has (and some things that aren't considered problems by the majority but you and that modder think is a problem) ...you get something wonderful at the end of it.

not to mention total conversion mods like Enderal for Skyrim or Fallout New California for NV. With Enderal especially the scope of this "mod" is mindblowing. It is it's very own standalone Story RPG, completely independent from Skryim in Story, Lore, World and looks. It would be perfectly fine as a 50$ game, not just as the free "mod" it is.

Day 1178 of requesting Zoo Tycoon. It seems fitting that Mayor Bob, the overlooked man who would go on to be the savior of civilization in the post-apocalypse is armed with a laser musket, the often-overlooked starting weapon turned glorious gatling gun in this playthrough.

If i remember right theres a way to mod the automatic laser musket. You need a regular one and i think you drop them near a weapons workbench and pick them up in some order. Its been a while but i remember being able to do it

Yeah it’s a huge part of the story if you read the backstory and all the terminals and talk to Jake after midnight but before the end of the first in game week while holding 9 ghoul gal bladders you get from the hidden quest in the starting area (the one with the girl, not the dog). Really disappointing to see Jon cut such a major plot point just to appease the RU-vid algorithm tbh 😕

A "Legacy of the Dragonborn" Skyrim run would be cool. Though of course there is also Fallout London coming up, Enderal exists and there's also Jon's eventual Morrowind playthrough to look forward to. Also Starfield DLC and mods will come sooner of later. All in all, I don't think Jon will run out of options for Bethesda games anytime soon, even if TESVI is still years and years away. Good times.

Don’t give companions multiple ammo. Give them a single ammo for the weapon they use. They have infinite. You can use the ammo yourself

If you're not farming NPCs for their unique perks, keep dogmeat with you. He carries a fair bit, does a good damage, and can find rare loot. Also, unlike Human Companions, Dogmeat works with Lone Wanderer: you still get the Loan wanderer Perk benefits with Dogmeat as a Companion. I think he might even benefit too, but it's been a year since I looked

You can actually do City Plans now instead of later nothing gating you from doing so Also, remember to build caravan services, it the manciple building Also, Vault Tech Rep is non-Essential, so um be careful.

Why do you not scrap everything in a new settlement before building? I see a lot of people leaving junk un-scrapped and can't figure out why they do that. It not only provides you with materials needed to build but it clears the area to be able to build better on?

Molerats don't always drop meat so that skill magazine actually makes them basically always drop 1 meat.

I think Super Mutants are technically genderless as the FEV process kinda destroys anything they previously have in terms of reproductive ability but also often personality etc. So Carnal would most likely be a trans woman even if she had been a cis woman pre-FEV as her body's natural state now doesn't align with any gender.

Supermutant and Nightkin can be female too. Not common, but they exist.

It's a sad comment on the state of Fallout 4 when the Sims Settlement mod, which uses repurposed dialogue, sounds as natural as the base game dialogue interactions.

Actually, its the opposite. Its a statement to a sheer number of lines recorded so you can fit basically any situation
