the syringer rifle is a tactical weapon to kill/harm/manipulate ur enemies. for example to reduce a cluster of supermutants by themselves use "bezerk" ammo. the target starts to kill his own ppl. its a very smart way killing a person in public without getting attacked by others. the victim freaks out and attacking all persons in his area till somebody shoot him.
maybe on low level enemies but I found that around 60% were to strong for the "bezerk" and all the other syringes produce mediocre results as I stated with so many more effective weapons that experimental tool is appreciated by the developer's but not desired. thanks for the comment!
The ammo damage actually stacks so you can load multiple say blead out syringes and that makes the damage higher and if you use it this way it is very effective because the potential for damage is high.
sure you could sit there for 40 seconds loading 20 or so shots into a super mutant to kill him or you can reach for him with a 44.,308.,plasma gun and take him out in half the time. if you love/like the syringe rifle more power to ya high damage potential or not the gun is slow and every almost every other gun in fallout is faster at killing. thanks for watching and commenting :)
Durandal I am role playing a doctor so this weapon goes well for me because with max sneak I almost never get found out. But I always take a companion with me and tell them to stay next to me and if an enemy gets to close I just tell them to attack while I focus on other enemies I found that this way works very well even in the late game. But you are right if you use the gun alone it is not a great weapon. What I am hoping for is for someone to make a mob that gives the weapon better syringes but until then I will just keep doing things the way I am doing them.
