It's because unlike the original fallout games Bethesda fucked up grabbed you by the balls and told you what to do and who to side with giving us no freedom to decide our characters destiny.
@@lightningii7305 i'm all for insulting bethesda but between fallout 1 and 2 you can't join the main antagonist. (in fallout 1 you actually can but that leads to the end of the game)
You cant side with the enclave however,(WARNING SPOILERS) you can posion the water to complete the quest "project impurity" and you get the enclave ending
BlackDreadDragon I would love to see where the ncr annexes the legion and is in a war with the Midwestern b.o.s. and the enclave but this has to take place around 3 decades after the event of new vegas because in my opinion the ncr ending is canon
@@NoName19402 I know!!! I found and Downloaded it not to long ago. But for some reason it wont let me play it all the way to the end. I have to join some other faction too to blow up the Institute, or whatever faction i choose to loose.
Imho they aren't evil, they are just putting what's best for all of humanity before what's best for some wastelanders who have radiation mutations. Contrary to popular belief, living in the wasteland doesn't automatically make you mutated. As seen in game it only happens at a high level of radiation and can be prevented by using rad away as needed or avoiding rads. And yes, the Enclave is the true US military.
I like how Bethesda is practically taking notes from New Vegas, mysterious scientific facility, *Check* , multiple faction endings, *check* any respect for the Enclave, baby steps Bethesda. baby steps.
Here’s a thought. A male Survivor who becomes the General of the Minutemen is essentially behaving like a slightly more benevolent Colonel Autumn. You set up water purifiers in some settlements, run supplies from those settlements to others, offer them protection and clean water in exchange for farming and serving as a volunteer militia, and your settlement radio beacons even play Enclave patriotic fare. All that pure water and food probably isn’t going to places like Diamond City or Good Neighbor so the Minuteman General is controlling access to that resource.
Here's my question : if the Enclave did eliminate the brotherhood in 3 and they came to Boston would they see the sole surviver as an eligible member to the Enclave seeing as though he or she technically is a "pure" human as he or she wasn't born in the wastes? Or if not as a member how would they see the sole survivor as something to aid them? Please give an answer anyone even if it's short.
Odds are likely that the sole survivor would be an eligible member as they are literally a surviving member from the pre-war period. In fact, I would argue that if the Enclave learnt of the Sole Survivor, they would treat them as a venerated artifact if you will. The Enclave idolizes the pre-war era, and to have a surviving member who has lived in that period would probably be akin to being a small celebrity to them.
I do wonder how the Enclave would react to the Institute. Basicly the offsprings of Pre War Scientists. In many ways the Institute and the Enclave share a lot of similaritys. I only worry if the Enclave would force the Institute to work for them or not. As you can see from my Avatar I'm pro Institute and if the Enclave would harm it in any way I would destroy the Enclave.
Odds are the Enclave would want to integrate the Institute and turn them into a part of the Enclave. However, while the Enclave would love the Institute's technical minds and solutions, they would probably put some stoppers on the Synth project. Having increasingly sophisticated and advanced generations of self-aware synths produced in greater numbers and whom have the ability to go rogue is not something I think the Enclave would want, and their trust in AI is probably record low following the incident with President Eden. Odds are, if they are integrated(forcefully or not), the Institute would probably be forced by the Enclave to instead focus on improving "simple" robots, I.E, Assaultrons and Eyebots and superior versions; as well as developing new power armor, vehicles and other utilities, all the while the Synth line will either be discontinued or HEAVILY regulated. However, I think the Institute's teleportation technology would be the Enclave's greatest prize; as it would essentially provide the Enclave with near-unlimited mobility.
It's clear that Autumn always had good intentions for the purifier. As said, Eden would've only used it for his modified FEV to kill the majority of the wasteland. If you watched this and still think the brotherhood was a better solution for the capital wasteland then you obviously haven't been paying attention
EmporerAaron Then the Enclave would be delivering all the water instead of the brotherhood. Wouldn't you think with the technology and amount of vertibirds they own they would have a much easier job doing it
@@kaiserkiefer1760 The Enclave virus only kills mutants like the supers and the wastelander! People like the Enclave and vault dwellers would be fine due to zero exposure to radiation and mutations!
I like to think the Enclave is hiding out in Chicago, keeping an eye on the midwest BoS; also that they have a foothold on Hawaii (Pearl Harbor?) and some of the oil rig survivors fled there. Maybe they've enslaved the vaults there and are using them as a workforce, test subjects, slave army, etc.
Because the master would make the vault dweller a super mutant and shady Sands the NCR founding town would be destroyed. The brotherhood of steel could be destroyed by the master, because I am not a 100% sure but, I think that the chapter in California during the game fallout 1 is the only chapter in the wasteland because they haven't spread to other states including DC or New Vegas. It could change the whole games including Mr. House and the Legion. From the games Fallout new vegas and fallout two and fallout 4.
Prince Sheogorath I BOW TO YOU AND... SLOW DOWN A MIN I AM I SOLDIER A RANGER AN THE SENET SO EXEKUT ORDER 66 BECUS I AM 1 BRODER HOOD OF STEEL ELDER FOR F.U.C.K. SAKE SO KISS MY ASS CASAR
The enclave weren’t wiped out entirely, they still have the space station they used to kill the original liberty prime with and an unconfirmed base in Chicago.
3 things on my mind: 1. The enclave should have won in fallout 3 because we find out that they had orbital middle strikes all along and could have just nuked the citadel and liberty prime from the beginning. Major plot hole. 2. If you infect the water in project purity then drink it in the dlc you start to die. Meaning that the vault dwellers acquired some type of mutation in the wasteland. 3. Part of me just knows the Enclave enacted their main plan at some point in the timeline and achieved building a space station on the moon or in orbit. Just look at the mural on the wall when you first get in concord on the bottom level of the museum. There is literally space power armor fighting on the moon.
Elder Lyons did say about the Enclave threat that they had no way of knowing whether or not they had been eliminated for good, because they do not know the full extent of the Enclave's strength, and therefore he would not discount the possibility of a future Enclave counterattack. Therefore, we cannot tell whether the force we defeated in the Capital Wasteland was THE main force, or all of their force, or just a splinter force/cell. We do not know for sure if other Enclave elements are operating in other parts of the US; or even located in places such as Europe, Alaska, Anchorage or South America. After all, the Enclave had visions for the WORLD, not just North America after the nuclear holocaust. Essentially, the Fallout 4 writers have basically chosen to leave the question of the Enclave's fate as ambiguous, which means that if the writers want to, they can perfectly just go without warning: "The Enclave's not done yet! Force Commander super-patriot Scylla in the Enclave's Amazons branch has heard of their setbacks in North America! They have been far more successful themselves, and she's now bringing her devil-eyed goons back up north for some retribution!" etc
enclave is done... like it or not.. they had their role.. its time to move on... why do ya'll want to have a repeat villain again.. nostalgia is a bitch.. xb the gunners have way more potential.. sadly they dropped the ball on them... xb
too bad it is.. accept it and move on... crying about it does nothing.. except keep u from accepting it an moving forward... so again a friendly reminder... accept it and move on..
Maaquchi The enclave wouldn't be in another fallout game just because "muh nostalgia" but because it makes actual sense that they are. Wiping away a bulk of an army doesn't mean you eradicate it completely. Any half-minded troglodyte can understand that. Why dont you
In Fo2, the president said that when the bombs fell, they hid all around the globe. While the Oil Rig was the main base, it certainly was not the full extend of their power.
If you think about it, Maxson's Brotherhood is just like the Enclave in Fallout 2. Both Factions will kill all mutants, and ghouls in their sight. I would want to see the Enclave in a future fallout as the good guys trying to rebuild America.
lmao even the Gunners dont target ghouls and super mutants for being non human... xD they evaluate the strategic importance and if its beneficial to attack or not.. gunner camp in fallout 4 that was next to a supermutant camp.. gunners did not attack the supermutants cause they werent bothering them... they left each other alone... xD the commander did say the troops were getting restless so they might allow them to attack.. but that was to keep the troops from getting bored and upset... xD
Jake Hammond wrong the fo2 enclave wanted to kill everyone that is infected including the humans Maxons brotherhood didn't want to kill ghouls they just hated them they did want to kill supermutants though.
I always found the Enclave to be lackluster in FO3. *In FO2 they were a legitimate threat with the best weapons, armor, and technology in the game by far. In FO3 they're basically on par with a severely downgraded BoS. *Edens "plan" was basically the same as in FO2 if it was developed by a kindergartener. In FO2 they were going to release an airborne modified FEV into the jet streams and spread it around the entire planet, wipe the slate truly clean. In FO2 Eden wants to release it into a local water supply? Why? That would affect a few miles AT BEST. No it wouldn't spread all over, in fact studying disease vectors it becomes apparent that it wouldn't spread very far at all before it completely died out. It would kill the creatures in the basin (which the purified water does anyway) but thats about it. *The enclave has an orbital weapons platform in FO3 but despite it having multiple payloads uses it ONCE and only after liberty prime causes catastrophe damage to the Enclave forces instead of nuking prime en route to raven rock then wiping out the citadel with a second payload. I can say pretty damn near certainty that they wouldn't have made this mistake in FO2. In fact anything that was even remotely a threat was eliminated immediately. They eliminated the intelligent death claws as soon as they figured out they went rogue and bloodied the BoS nose and eliminated their safe houses. At some point between the 2 games the Enclaves technology devolved to well below pre war standards. Seriously the hellfire armor was on par with T51b and their "advanced" mk2 armor was comparable to T45d which was laughably outdated by the time of the liberation of Alaska and they were back to using prototype laser and plasma weapons. They also seem to have developed crippling alcohol/drug addictions as evidenced by their complete and utter lack of tactical planning or any ability to plan more than 1 move at a time.
Well the BoS developed t60 armor which isn't as good but is still better than prewar models. So I'm sure they'll get there. The enclave had access to resources and technology that is simply innaccesable at this point.
Ive got my own theory: i have reasons to believe the gunners are actually enclave remenants since they have really good armor and weapons just like the enclave and like the enclave we always see them wearing x-01 power armor and we can actually find them at a vault they took over just like the enclave looking for vaults and they have many resorces and technology at their disposal
Lone Wanderer I agree with you partially. I believe the Enclave are funding and supporting the gunners. Hence the gunners being funded by a unknown person. Who else has that much money in the wasteland to fund them to have plasma weapons, combat armor, and VERTIBIRDS. Where else would you get these things?
Lone Wanderer, they don't use X-01, they use t60 and below, they only have 1 to 2 vertibirds and have access only to rusted power armor, enclave funding them is clearly not evident and makes no sense.
gunners act on practicality and reasoning.. they are numbers people... people of empirical data... enclave are driven by ideological reasons.. fanaticism.. this alone says they are not working together nor associated in anyway... gunners dont even bother a group of supermutants camped next to one of their camps cause they dont pose a threat.. hence gunners dont kill non humans just cause they arent humans.. the enclave would have flipped out and killed the supermutants on sight... gunners are a para military organization first.. mercenary group second... they control an run territories and trade with the people and do work for them... the gunners support and fund themselves... they have a TAX system... its referenced in game somewhere..
thats bs.. lore says otherwise... they have tons of power armor.. they have shit loads of prewar robots... they literally do what the bos does and salvage prewar tech.. and they repair and fix it up too...they even have a freaking huge satellite relay dish which they repaired... who knows how many they have.. game mechanics doesnt give them vertibirds nor much power amor.. but they have tons... little bits of lore we do have say other wise.... it even says they are on par IF NOT MORE then the bos in combat skills.. lore litereallys says the are either equal or better then the bos... there is a reason u dont see gunners with tons of power armor... first reason is they are very strict and dont hand it out like the bos do... second.. the bos to fans has an image to maintain. thats power armor and vertibirds.. giving gunners in game power armor left and right would destroy that unique image for the bos... its a practical and smart move by the developers.. anyone knows u dont ruin a favorite character by introducing a new similar yet upgraded character.. xb thats just bad writing... gunners have fully restored power armors.. though only certain ranks are given them.. gunners do takin in all who want to join.. often its raiders. and raiders bring in their own power armor... Tessa is a example... as a raider but now gunner.. she brought her own power armor with her... and many other dirty raiders join would have dirty power armor... not all gunner tech is gunner issued.. people bring their own personal things too.. xb
I played a full run through of Fo3 where i mesmatron every enclave member I encountered. Making ever outpost and enclave member a non-hostile NPC. Those that died during the main quest i could not stop liberty prime from killing I to their armor and reverse pickpocketed it onto NPCs in non enclave settlements. This was on Xbox and that run took 700+ hours. Yea.
I like to imagine that, when the Enclave captured my LW, he joined the Enclave and replaced Autumn, then started the Purifier for the Enclave and destroyed the BoS
wrong.. gunners have a more accurate ranking system of real time US military then what the enclave had.. go ahead and look at it... gunners share no similarities with the enclave.. they dont even have any of the bigotry or ideology of them... so that makes no sense... xb gunners if anything are 100% practical and rational... they dont even target supermutants or ghouls for being non humans... there is even a gunner camp that acknowledges this... they say nothing negative in terms of supermutants being non human.. what they do mention is strategic value of not attacking them.. cause it would serve no practical use to their current objective... they literally said the super mutants next door pose no threat and leave them alone so there is no reason to attack them... there is just no similarities between the gunners and the enclave.. sorry but thats fact... xb
Maaquchi the vast majority of mutations in an organism's genomes are benign. only beneficiary mutations, not every mutation are steps in evolution. But you're right about BOS being a religion LOL
a mutation is a mutation... if said mutation just so happens to add on to what we are for a benefit "we label it as beneficial" if not we label it as harmful... its just coincident whether its harmful.. helpful... or neutral... think of Chernobyl... lots of the wild life has "negative effects" but lots of them also adapted to the radiation levels despite said negative mutations... despite outright harmful mutations... the body slight adapted to normalize it to some extent.. think of hyena births.... clearly evolution saw that as the way to go... but i doubt any human women would want to go thru that.. also i doubt other animals even have it as bad as humans in terms of child birth pains.. evolution clearly thought giving human babies big ass heads what a good thing.. theoretically there are other ways it could have went down that would lead to less painful process...
Jar Jar Abrams who knows they could be in Alaska and Maine yes I’m fat harbor we didn’t see them but they can be on the main land we never saw the true main land
only potential flaw in the FEV plan would be that the Enclave would not necessarily be as completely mutation free as they assume. their members have gone out into the wasteland for multiple generations, they lived on an oil rig (surrounded by all sorts of nasty petrochemical residues), and they use a lot of plasma and nuclear tech. the Enclave's entire modus operandi means their population will have had multiple generations exposed to chemicals and radiations that will effect a person's DNA and cause mutations/genetic damage in their offspring. while they likely maintained a degree of eugenics and ''disposed of'' any obvious mutations, there would be a whole slew of latent or minor mutations that would slip past them. and this is assuming that their membership has not succumbed to any degree of inbreeding, which would be yet another source of mutation. (given their relatively small size organization wise, this seems unlikely.) so it is likely that the altered FEV plan would have wiped out most of the Enclave as well. nor would the Vaults be completely safe either. Vaults have many of the same issues the enclave would in terms of exposure to technological sources of DNA altering stuff, but they'd also be more likely to have succumbed to Inbreeding issues, given their limited genepool size to start. (and that isn't counting whatever weird experiment might be going on at the vault) plus Vaults source their water from outside sources (wells and aquifers) which means eventually the FEV might make its way into some of them, and slip past the filtration systems. and even if the vaults made it through unscathed.. what would they inherit? a world where once they open the vault and start living on the surface, they die from the altFEV because environmental factors will be conductive to mutations for millennia to come. and since they don;t know the danger is there, they'd never know to avoid opening their vaults. (not that being stuck inside a small living space with the same ~200 people for all eternity is much better)
Ending 1 : you finish the game normally Ending 2 : when you get to the president and you take the FEV you are escorted by sentry bots and soldiers around you look tempted to shoot once you get outside you see cournal Autumn pleading you don't use the FEV depending on your words Autumn will either A: turn aggressive B:walk back inside the fort once you get to protect purity your met with a soldier saying "sir Brotherhood forces are arriving soon their pre war robot "liberty prime" has swept through our forces have any ideas on how to destroy them" Option A: "I want your forces to retreat I'll handle this on my own remember I have connections inside the Brotherhood" ( which ends up the forces retreating and you dieing from prime ) Option B: "mine the bridge with nukes when they come through the won't know what hit them" ( ends up with nukes strapped to the Bottom of the bridge and all of the forces being destroyed with the prime death seen in broken steel and you compleateing the game with project purity being infected and the place being occupied by enclave forces ) Option C: "order a major assault on the cidedel with there base being attacked they'll be forced to retreat then we activate the purifier" ( ends up the cidedel being destroyed and the purifier Being infected and under enclave control ) after the broken steel quest starts you wake up with you and your companion being in a enclave hospital bed and a doctor telling you what Happened " with the purifier occupied those Brotherhood scum will be hunted down by the president's forces we have also made ties with local settellment's and city's and made a deal to deliver water to them via vertibird in exange we hang our flag there and soldiers have a place to rest and relax and of course occupy the area we now have a strong presence in the capital wasteland but in other matters the president needs you our training grounds is going to be attacked by remaining Brotherhood forces and people who call themselves "outcast's" if you need anything medical wise come to me" one you go to president you find Autumn in a cage with 2 heavy troops beside him. Once you talk to them president he has this to say "good work at the purifier ( compliments on the way you chose to deal with them ) ( bridge bombing ) bombing the bridge with mini nukes with them unaware GENIUS if I had arm's,legs an...and a soul I would have done that myself ( cidedel attack ) Genius idea having the troops bomb the cidedel done the my work right under there noses,As you might already know from doctor bannon "fine man by the way" we now have a very strong foot in the capital wasteland but there are two thing we need to do response A: what's the first one Response B: (continue listening ) or Response C: well what are they then?, The first thing is we must"dispose" of this TRAITOR HERE!. He had the ordasity to try and kill me so his humanity could take the best of him you kill the cournal by having him A: be dropped from a vertibird B:put in confinement with no food/water for a month C: or simply executing him yourself ( you lose karma for all of these options ) you go back to the president and he says this "know that the cournal has been delt with I now award you as cournal.repsonse A: why I'm flattered B: sure?...I guess C: what? NO im done helping you ( your evicted leaving you with a neutral ending to the game ) D: no F*ck you and your god d*mned "enclave" your attacked forceing you to fight your way out leaving you with a bad ending" if you pick Option A or B you given the enclave padded cournals vest AKA cournals vest ( enclave padding gives you the same DR as Tesla armour makeing it the best non-armour in the game ) the president responds like this " your welcome "cournal" I make sure the aurmoury is open for you and you now have to cournals place ( new player home I'll explain later ) but now for the second thing response A : about time Repsonse B:and? What is it C: awaiting orders President's reply: as the doctor told you earlier a training grounds at adems airforce bas is planned to be attacked soon we'll..it not all a training base it's a devolpment base where we make all of our technology and armor for the men and it's also where we make deathclaw mind control devices and battle robots for the army and one more detail Response A: yes? I'm waiting Response B: any day now Response C Nope I don't care anymore I'm tired of fighting ( your evicted and forced into a nuetreal ending ) "well the main reason the Brotherhood and outcast are attacking we have a orbital sattalite that they want to use to destroy us all Repsonse A: wow that a big detail B: ok sounds easy enough. Well the main thing is that you depend the base and don't let it get into Brotherhood hands you'll be escorted via vertibird ( screen fades to Black ) you arrive at the mobile crawler with a scientist saying HELP THERE ON THE TOP THER...THERE KILLING EVERYBODY ( she runs off being sniped in the head ) ( you get a notification saying "Don't go into the open it won't end well ) ( if you don't listen you suffer the same date as the scientist ) you fight your way up to the top like normal but instead of enclave soldiers you face BOS soldier's once inside the control tower your faced by a captured officer gaurded by enclave solders he says this " I'll never talk you enclave scum I'll NEVER tell you the quardnets of our base NEVER!!!!" Repsonse A: ( shoot him in trying arm ) Response B "kill him (leading to you being forced to guess the Quardnets with a science skill of 100 you guess right ending the main story) AGH NO I'LL NEVER TELL ( you shoot him in the groin and legs ) AGHHH YOU MONSTER fine I'll tell you X-10028 Y-90287 ( He dies ) you entering the codes destroying the Outcast HQ ) with the screen fadeing to black and getting a completely new ending ) you speak with the president "very good work the out side World is being purdged as we speak and the men and scientist are outfitting the G.E.C.K makeing it able to restore live to pre war species now exstinct we thank you for your work the U.S.A thanks you eternally ( you get the "geneocial hero" perk granting you perminent negative karma and +20 To all stats when wearing enclave armour the game ends with a new ending. Effect on World :Now you'll now see enclave vertibirds more often ( always peaceful ) in city's people will drop dead randomly from the FEV and you'll see enclave soldiers and flags all around the city's of Megaton , Rivit city , Tenpenny tower , GNN ( new DG only ) , paradise falls ( now a military base ) and more Outpost at used to be raider bases and green grass starts popping up with about 5/50 trees green ( this makes the game more easy and you only lose out on the paradise falls quest
Mr. Minuteman I honestly wish this was cannon. Fallout 3 should have had at least 2 endings (besides just shooting a missle at the citadel) and this should have been one. Great writing and idea by the way.
Well...technically the Enclave may not be out of the game yet. While there were so many opportunities to allow the Enclave to be a *joinable* faction this was never implemented. They were introduced as a villain in Fallout 2 but your character background would not allow a tribes/man/woman to join them. Making it so a *savage* would never fit into the Enclave and therefore would have to fight them. But in Fallout 3 there was an opportunity. The game was based on being "good and evil" and even when you were to play through the game as an *evil* character you had to join the *good guy* brotherhood. Which in Fallout 3 the Brotherhood turned into goodie good guys....when they had been dicks in previous Fallouts like the Outcasts But there should have been a chance to join the Enclave as an evil character. It takes one important person *the player* to decide what happens to major groups like this. The Vault Dweller helped Shady Sands in Fallout 1 which grew into the New California Republic, Other groups like the Brotherhood of Steel, Follower of the Apocalypse and you come across many other groups along in the series. In Fallout 4 you *can* if put in the time and effort to rebuild, take the Minutemen from the brink the WEAKEST faction in that game to the strongest if not one of with self sufficient bases all over the Commonwealth with supplies, armaments, power armor, vertibirds and soldiers you can pretty much do anything with them or any faction the player chooses. I still believe we need a fallout to give the Enclave one chance where *the player* not circumstance decides their fate. For example, it seems that the Enclave's goal was ultimately to go to space and colonize another planet to live on which is why they had Vault tech run their experiments to determine what would happen to people in confined spaces. However this could play into other things like....why has the Enclave or none of the other factions been able to stabilize more of the Wasteland United States after 200 years?..one thing that would be lore friendly is the existence of Zetans/Aliens in this series..The Zetans.and Mothership Zeta DLC in Fallout 3 let you take command of a Zetan spaceship. This DLC also introduced the idea of stasis and or time travel being possible as many of its captives were people from before, during, and after the war. a Samurai from ancient times, a cow boy, Anchorage soldier, a wasteland slaver, What if they could make a fallout to where they start prewar like fallout 4 but have some content the player can start off with and customize? The player starts off as a commander in the War for Anchorage Alaska...a few good missions during the battle to determine the player's stance, good or bad (eg sacrifice civilians to advance military goals or sacrifice war assets to save civilians and soliders.)) Later the player is recruited by secret service with his or her *get stuff done* ablities (aka Enclave) for a "special mission" and some how the player and his/her group of soldiers/scientest, begin the work of testing and creating space worthy vehicles, weapons, armor, reverse engineering Zetan Tech, actually fighting Zetans, capture or destroy Zetan spaceships to collect and study more of their tech, perhaps even have an *accident* with time travel which might give a reason for why the Enclave hasn't done anything for Earth for over 200 years...and their major faction re appear at this given time. The Enclave had the tech to do a lot of things but we never as the player got a chance to take control of it. So to me having the Enclave in another Fallout game can be possible...but it has to be done right...I still would like to see a battle in Ancorage with Thousands of Ships and Soldiers fighting dozens of Liberty Primes and or Dog fights reversed Engineered Enclave airplanes/space ships and tanks with Zetan ships tanks etc. (Yes Bethesda! we need drivable buildable Vehicles in next Fallout game) But honestly any faction can be brought back to life with good story and execution. Enclave is no Exception..even if all there bases have been destroyed you give a good enough reason... they can be back...but to make it a good game the *player* has to have control of the choices...but we'll see what happens...God Bless the Enclave God Bless America!
Scenario 1: Fallout4, You join the enclave due to being a soldier before the war with the enclave having records of you. Another cool thing is you're completely mutation free so you won't have to jump that hurdle to join.
Enclave would have been better than Brotherhood of Steel. However you wouldn't notice the joke that was placed in the game when it came to the Brotherhood of Steel in Fallout 4 and the Airport they set up base at.
The Enclave did win in my timeline. I don't know what canon you live in. Now that Fallout is a complete joke, I am free to assert my own personal headcanon. My canon has always been this: When you played Fallout 3 avoiding ever attacking Enclave troops, you saved Autumn with dialogue choices from the disaster of the water purifier...., when the insane cult, the BoS let loose a giant sentinel they had no control over, a machine that thought it was fighting a war 200 years in the past, and brave Enclave troops gave their lives to protect the installation that would create a new America (in much the same way as Hoover Dam would in Fallout NV). Then in Broken Steel you played the double agent, pretending to side with the BoS, passing many dead Enclave soldiers without a word.... and then we had our chance. We lured the BoS into attacking the Enclave's new base at Adam's Airforce base, at which point their troops were blown to bits by Vertibirds and our new hellfire troopers. Then we used a stealth boy to sneak aboard the base, since Eden, our only connection to the Enclave had been buried by Prime, so they thought we were the enemy. So we managed to sneak through our allies, who didn't know we were allies. then nuke the shit out of the BoS and ensure Enclave victory in the Capitol Wasteland. Then they fled to Boston in FO4 with various aircraft they managed to capture. And the protagonist of FO4, a true patriot, must create Enclave settlements from the nothingness of the wasteland, and drive back the invaders, so the Enclave can swoop in and reclaim what is rightfully ours. One Enclave, One America..... Now, and Forever.
And I'd like to think, since the Institute is a remnant of pre-war CIT, that the Enclave would offer for them to join them, as long as Gen-3 production stopped
what you should be asking is. "what if the enclave's bases didn't have random self destruct functions?" because they'd have won in fallout 2 if that was the case. Also then fallout would end, since the enclave would slowly rebuild everything.
the gunners have greater potential to take the role of the biggest baddest faction in fallout out... but Bethesda dropped the ball on them as well... though i dont think they dropped the ball on the enclave.. they played their part... having the same villian repeating over and over is just boring... xb the only reason the bos are even a thing is cause humans are simple.. without powerarmor no one would give a crap about the bos... same with the enclave.. when people think of both of those faction we immediately think of powerarmor... xb its said the gunners also have vertibirds and power armor like crazy and the same tech.. including hordes of prewar robots more so then the bos.. but if game mechanics had gunners running around with power armor like crazy it would make the bos irrelevant... its a smart move to not do that and take that away from the bos... but the point is... power armor makes or breaks bos/enclave image xb
The enclave still exist in other parts of the country according to the lore. There is an outpost in Chicago according to E.D.E's audio files that play during New Vegas and if I recall correctly even in fallout 3 if you decide to destroy Raven Rock I remember seeing a few vertibirds escape before the explosion. There is also a theory that the Enclave may have a space station as well.(not sure about that but would be awesome) Colonel Autumn's father was one of the men who lead the Enclave across the wastes establishing refueling stations for vertibirds as small outposts in the area. I believe they are weakened, but not eradicated.
Well, it doesn't matter what would have happened if the enclave won. Bethesda is doing everything in their power to remove the enclave from the fallout universe and act like the brotherhood of steel is the only faction in existence.
The issue with a "Enclave Victory" is that even if they were victories and never lost their assets such as the Oil Rig they eventually and inevitably lose and these victories undone because of the various factions who would contest the areas of interest as the NCR and Brotherhood have. They would be reluctant to employ the services of "mutated" populations beyond possible slave labor. This would be their downfall as political strife within the Enclave would leave different regions divided by the local officers and other high end leaders all depending on their personal beliefs and objectives. Factions like the NCR, Brotherhood, and any other possible living factions would oppose each station besides the Posidon Oil Rig and possible locations/operations we have yet to see. These losses and set backs would cause reforms to ensure the Enclaves interest would remain intact. We would see the employment of manipulated creatures and the employment of local small time factions for Intel and security purposes for the price of technology and knowledge but of course as we know who the Enclave are whether they'd honor this deal with local powers or not is obviously doubtful at best. As a final result to ensure they could secure assets they would ultimately form a uneasy alliance with factions similar to Caesars Legion. Caesar valued the philosophy of having one strengthen themselves by their own means over employing the use of technology but he also valued knowledge above all else. Caesar would accept this alliance so long as the Enclave would help them in engineering weapons the Legion recovered such as the artillery the player can repair in New Vegas. Caesar would then make it clear he isn't one to serve and would go against Enclave wishes. I think they would dismantle the Legion by killing Caesar and capturing Lanius to reprogram his mind or change his philosophy that "only the strong can rule". Lanius even manipulated/influenced by the Enclave would not care for it's interest to reform America nore would he respect the Enclave seeing them as cowards who require tech to survive. Long story short he would be employed as a Warlord to turn savage against savage, mutant against mutant. This so called "reform of the Legion" would not last very long as the Enclave would only utilize the Legion to defeat the NCR and local Brotherhood forces. With someone like Lanius in charge the Enclave could not afford such a renegade force to ruin potential Old World tech and thus would be forced to remove him from the wasteland. Whether or not they could salvage the remains of the Legion is debatable by multiple factors such as if they have the right assets or even the desire to continue supporting savages. One possible concept which would make salvaging the Legion possible is if the Enclave would make contact with the Institute of Fallout 4. Regardless if you support my thoughts on the matter to be true or false no one could deny that individuals within the Enclave who believed restoring America was the best solution over leaving to a new planet would require employment or slave labor of the inhabitants of the wasteland. Thanks for reading this long and educational podcast, you've listened to Enclave radio and for that I say goodnight to you and god bless Great America.
In the Remnant ending of the Legion winning, if Caesar is alive, he respects the Enclave Remnants, and leaves them at peace. If he is dead and the Legate takes over, he sends his army against them. The Remnants retreat deeper into Arizona, and the Legion receives heavy losses during the whole thing. And these are just a bunch of old people. The actual Enclave would just crush the whole Legion.
@Genghis Khan what's to wonder? That's literally what fallout 2 is about. Even their war with the BoS cost them immensely in personal and resources, even tho generally speaking the BoS is underequipped in comparison to the enclave.
Here's how one possible ending could have worked even with Broken Steal. The LW gives Autumn the Code at the end of the game, outside Project Purity. Autumn shoots the LW and takes command of the Purifier as the screen fades to black the last thing you see is Sarah Lyons. Cue End Credits which talks about the Enclave taking over the Purifier and using it as a hostage to push back Liberty Prime and the Brotherhood, forcing them to take refuge in the Citadel. Broken Steal opens with you awaking, same as before, except this time the Elder explains basically what the End Credits said. The LW was shot, Enclave took the Purifier, Sarah saved you but got shot several times in the process so you were both in a coma recovering while the Brotherhood got their asses kicked. Fortunately, for plot convenience, the virus was never used as the LW had it when Autumn shot him and he didn't have enough time to grab it before rushing inside the Purifier. Broken Steal would then consist of you helping the Brotherhood repair Liberty Prime and fight the Enclave to take back the Purifier. Once that is done Broken Steal can basically resume as normal. How's that, Todd. Is that a little too creative for you?
Starting from fallout 3 i was made to hate enclave and love BoS but after some digging. Enclave seems decent. BOS are just nazis cept for the outcasts and enclave just want order either radical or stable. I wanna see enclave side on it. Or see the less radical side of Autumn who doesn't want FEV
Autumn wouldn't even need to fight the BOS if he got the purifier just stall them long enough for him to gather public approval then starve the bos out of the citadel. Liberty prime Only seemed to have worked either because it was a suprise attack. That sattilite could also be used for other targets. Sad thing is all Autumn had to do to get what he wanted was not shoot when he took over the purfier and then tell the lone wander what he was really trying to do. All he'd have to say then is Eden wasn't elected this is the code to kill him have fun with it. I really do hope we see him again.
You know, there is a Fallout Fanfic where us crazy SpaceBattlers decide to explore this. Turns out it is an awesome idea to bring freedom to the Wasteland. It basically has characters and factions from Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, and Fallout 4 clashing against each other while the remnants of West Coast Enclave meet with the rising East Coast Enclave. Say hello to Fallout: Autumn Morning. forums.spacebattles.com/threads/fallout-autumn-morning-au.367543/ Then there is its sequel, Tales From A New America. forums.spacebattles.com/threads/tales-from-a-new-america-fallout-au.553800/ P.S. If you decide to make an account, just read the Rules and Guidelines before you end up causing trouble. Just for your safety if you are new there.
They can make the Enclave be in a secret vault unknown to us. In the vault it houses Enclave in cryostasis waiting release. The lone wander walks in....
I've always thought that in between Fo3 and Fo4 the Enclave remnants assimilated themselves into the BoS and Outcasts. Because in Fo4 the BoS has alot of similar views to the Enclave and the theory that the BoS killed Sarah Lyons and covered it up as "a great battle" with either the *Outcasts,* Super mutants, or *Enclave Remnants...* I personally think that Lancer Captain Kells was the one who killed Sarah, whether it was personally or through assassins.
The way I see it, and most wouldn't agree, but I think the Enclave would've held more stability and care over project purity. Vertibirds to fly places quickly, handing out the water, hell the Colonel Autumn guy even say that when the purifiers in their hands that people will flock to the enclave for fresh water, if colonel Autumn wanted to kill them he wouldn't be trying to get their attention. You see, wastelanders are accustomed to a lifestyle based on no rules and anarchy. Now it makes sense that conflict would occur when a military junta tries to take over and force you to live a different lifestyle. Of course we're not entirely sure what the Enclaves intent was based on Colonel Autumn's vision, but I can understand why he would want control of the purifier, it's essentially a bargaining chip, they give out fresh clean water, and in return they live under the citizenship of the Enclave. You can say it's quite similar to what the NCR do in New Vegas, they have NCR citizens that they give out food and water to for free for living under their rules, it's the same thing. Colonel Autumn understands that trying to force people to live under your rules is a recipe for disaster, so why not make a deal, some form of agreement upon trust in order to make things work? I believe the Enclave could've done that in Fallout 3. They also could have easily expanded civilized towns and wiped out many of the threats posed in the wasteland. Eden has nothing to do with this goal however, most refer to the ending of Fallout 3 where you put the Modified FEV in the purifier, the reason Eden asks you to do that, is because Colonel Autumn refused to do that probably believing it's insane, and decided to go with something a little more friendly and impactful.
One thing that I don't think we see enough of is how these groups actually interact with the average person. Not only that, but wasn't there some insinuation that if the Enclave had enacted their plan in FO3, it'd actually result in the deaths of most people, as it was targeting people with any mutations, of which most survivors in the Capital Wasteland have at least a few...
If yall pay attention in the fallout games, The BrotherHoodOfSteel is the main faction and the best one. Even if the Enclave is still around, Its only a small surviving force while the Brotherhood grew into a larger millitary force under Elder Maxson , Ad Victoriam.
Well... I must say that this is a bit complicated to say... I mean: Why must the Lone Wanderer die that the Enclave can win? It could be possible the Lone Wanderer would join the Enclave and help them to get the Victory. The Lone Wanderer DON´T need to die for an Envlave Victory. I wish it would have been possible in Vanilla Fallout 3 to join them and achieve Victory. Hail the Enclave! God bless the Enclave!
Hello, I am fairly new to your channel, but i have a request. I do not know if you did a video on the "Gwen's Head" or the "Gwen's Other Head". If you have not, could you please do a video on the since i just found Gwen's Head. I would greatly appreciate if you did a video on them.
The Outcasts _are_ the brotherhood in Fallout 4, combined with the remnants of Lyon's Pride. So Maxson wouldn't be the leader, but it would be the same old group. I don't think the Outcasts could beat the Enclave anyway.
The NCR with the help of the brotherhood kicked the enclaves ass tho and with how strong they are in New Veges they could probobly beat the enclave and it makes sense because the NCR also beat the brotherhood of steel aswell
Alright, let's go with Scenario 1. After defeating the Brotherhood, some members of the Enclave go to the Commonwealth to stop the Institute, while the others decide to expand back out west. If the BoS chapters between Maryland and California don't defeat them, The NCR, Caesar's Legion or both will. After all, the Legion has been known to take on factions with superior tech and win, and the NCR has actually beaten the Enclave before.
In my story opinion this ending sounds cool. When the Enclave won the war against the Brotherhood, they start to rebuild what they deem fit, however, they would have to fight a Guerilla war against the Outcasts, but they would be little threat when their Base gets destroyed. Thats when the Enclave starts to try to rebuild their numbers, either from recruitment, creating Synths or whatever, they will expand on the East coast, thats when Fallout 4 comes to play, when the Enclave reach Boston, they have 3 Aircraft Carriers, Swarms of Tanks, X-02 Troops, Vertibirds and tons of robots, their mission, takeover the Commonwealth from the Mutants, mostly Minutemen and Railroad, but the Institute wouldn't be considered as an enemy, as they aren't mutants, so a Allied partner ship between the two Nations, as they battle the Sole Survivor led Minutemen.
I think the Enclave actually won at Adams Air Force Base, and here's why- In Fallout 4 as you encounter rando Brotherhood soldiers battling around the wasteland you will often hear the quote "Remember the Citadel!" which strongly suggests that it was destroyed. It's a reference to "Remember the Alamo" where the US lost badly to Mexico during the US-Mexican war. Both options are available in game, but this quote makes me think an Enclave victory is canon.
Nice Video! :) I really really love the Enclave (my favorite Faction in Fallout) and wish won or come back. Sad that they dont ally with the Brotherhood of Steel (my second favorite -after the Enclave- Faction in Fallout Universe). They could together destroy all Ghouls and super mutants. But i think you look that topic from a wrong perspective. Nobody says that everything must work like it did in the Fallout 3 Story/Lore. They are many more scenarios how they could win and many more possibilities how Fallout 3 could change. Sorry for my bad english and again thanks for you Videos! :)
I do believe the Enclave still have hidden bases in the Commonwealth in Boston also a main base in Chicago or a version of it I do enjoy the Fallout mod America Rising it fits in so well and I feel like your character would be a part of them because of being an old Soldier and everything that happened with Canada in the Fallout story going into how many years before
The Outcasts being the BoS you deal with in FO4 isn't alternate history, it's implicitly true in vanilla. They've changed to using the Outcasts color scheme on their power armor, and the history of Sarah's death and allegation there was 'a series of weak leadership' before rejoining with the Outcasts says volumes. Star Paladin Cross is weak? The Lone Wanderer is weak? Pretty clear that a nasty conflict happened ending with the reunification of the two factions and a shift back towards Outcast priorities
I would've sympathized with Autumn's well-intentioned goal, but considering that he had a hands in James/Dad's death; he already signed his own death warrant along with the Enclave.
