I was a huge fan of the flatwoods monster story. It was a very underrated, and not very popular cryptid and I was beyond excited to hear that it was going to be put in a video game. Truly a bone chilling tale
I encountered a scorch beast and the Grafton monster popped up on my screen for a second . Are all the mystery enmies bugged or something ? Maybe disabled for the beta ?
@@AlwaysCooper yeah, but you can clearly identify his voice. It's deeper in tone. He is a voice actor after all, he has training to imitate a younger version of himself. However I could be wrong, you never know.

I love lore being told through holotapes and the radio tbh. I kinda find it a bit boring to just sit through npc's talking like exposition robots. At least with a holotape on, I can still move freely throughout the wasteland while listening to lore. Way better and atmospheric. It's what made my FNV & FO3 gameplays memorable.
Sally? Like Sally from the Mothership Zeta DLC in Fallout 3? It would make sense they could be the same, or at least a callback. They sound about the same age, they were both abducted by aliens and experimented on, they're both pre-war humans, and Fallout 3's Sally abduction description doesn't tell much other than she was abducted with her family so there's some room to work with. If they are the same person, that would mean these radio shows are based on true stories within the Fallout world, which could help shed some light on what these monsters truly are, there might be some truth within these tall tales; especially the Wendigo and the Grafton Monster, while the only possible hiccup being the Snallygaster which was confirmed to be some kind of FEV experiment.
Dunno about mothman, but some of the audio tapes I found allude to one of the former survivors trying to tame molerats and mongrel dogs, which I think would be an awesome system to have.

Talk to Don Skidmore, owner of all the land in flatwoods. - his son runs the strip mall the DMV is in. Don's father was one of the children who allegedly "saw" the flatwoods monster. Come to find out Don states his father and a friends accidentally started a fire that they couldn't put out and said it was the flatwood monster.

The speech is definitely not Zetan, I'll agree, probably some sort of Zetan ally or Subspecies. But, like the lore that this ties into is amazing. Bethesda is trying to do right.

It never will. Remember when you shoot the death ray onto somewhere in America on the Mothership? I wonder if Bethesda will make a game that has an area like completely burned and had difficult enemies but has great resources
This is just like the old radio dramas from the pre television era also what is the music they use towards the end of the video the stereotypical sy fy music you hear it all the time in the old scooby doo cartoons
will we be able to listen to these properly or keep getting interrupted by enemies respawning on us and attacking, like reading control panels and other lore? kind of ruins the fun if i cant listen to holotapes if they stop to start fight music

damn, that's brutal. and terrifying. and slightly awesome, as this practically confirms that there's more aliens than just the zetans. or maybe these aliens are a subspecies? i dunno.
