Some who are interested in going beyond regular grinds of regular humans, need to find the really advanced farming methods by making teams of robots, or making automated farms, or making advanced tech factories of vertibirds, or do bizarre controlling like what is done by Enclave and the Priests of Mohan by controlling people places and things.
This was a missed opportunity to put a serious cap sink into the game. If we could spend caps for a little event that nets a good source of legendary items, modules, and cores, it would help give caps some value again. The way this event is setup, once you've maxed out your tiers and bought all the plans, the cap sink is done, and we'll just go right back to running around with near 40k caps again. It's been many years since caps could actually buy any top tier gear. I suppose if the new legendary crafting system brings down the value top tier items, then maybe we're back in business there, but I suspect the legendary components will just become the new currency, displacing rare apparel, while caps stay worthless.
IMO They need to unlock the cap limit so the wasteland has a free market, having all these artificial limits messes up the wastelands NPC and player vendor market system, and worsens the black market. Cap prices might go up for a bit, but they will settle out when people slow their buying. Caps are one of the few things in F76 that Bethesda has control over (you can't dupe them IIRC) Also, they need to make each vendor have it's own cap limits, if you want to sell more stuff but the local merchant is broke, you can travel to another and get more caps. Without this, we have seen how fragile the F76 market and trade system really is with all the crazy player vendor price fluctuation in the last year. There are too many currencies (caps, bullion, stamps, different tokens...) and it makes the game too much of a grind, too many separate specific things to do just to get what we want... WE NEED A FREE ECONOMY!🤩
Yep. But the only thing that killed caps imo, is real life money. Some players are willing to pay dollars for "rare" items... When I came from GTA5 to this game some years ago, every one was bitching about Cies microtransactions and here on Fo76 players were doing microtransactions with eachother... Mofo had them by the b*lls!
Since this game has become very capitalistic over the past few years, they either need to find a new currency system or up the cap limit because I don’t know if anybody else gets annoyed by having to shut their store down 3 to 5 times a session, and then when you yank your store down other players get aggravated because they want to see what you’ve got, but you can’t open it because you’re capped up.
@@TheHumanRanger holy cow somebody else that has been saying the same thing as myself for the past couple years! Let’s be honest Bethesda knows this game is drowning and instead of trying to recover it and rescue it they just want to keep their heads above water because I think they’re still working on the new ESO game and then they’re jumping into making a new fallout game afterwards, so this game is going to constantly take a backseat to other projects they’ve got
this has the potential to be something great, but as it is now im pretty underwhelmed. i was thinking you could actually have your own business where you could take escort/delivery missions or maybe send your caravans off on their own, or even just something that would earn passive income/rewards by upgrading your caravan service. Instead it's just Free Range 2.0
Yeah. I'm kinda over here like please fix the base game and stop the crashing before you add more bells and whistles but oh well. I like your idea. Suikoden V had similar where you sent your minions on supply runs, I might be mixing it up with another but, I like your idea. You could train your brahmin. Give it perks, etc. Oh well. I just want my game to make it through an entire Equinox. Lol Sorry, still I keep trying. Cheers hope everyone gets the dang display case. Are they even dropping? Lol
Taking over major regions of the map and doing new secure installations would be nice. This is like a focus on true rebuilding of USA, by going beyond regular grinds of regular humans in a variety of ways like finding really advanced farming methods by making teams of robots, or making automated farms, or making advanced tech factories of vertibirds, or rebuilding a monorail, or doing bizarre controlling like what is done by Enclave and the Priests of Mohan by controlling people places and things.
@@matronmalice9867I know how you feel, like constantly hitting your head on a brick wall and hoping it won't hurt..the game needs serious attention at the nuts and bolts level

The caravan system seems pretty interesting. Although i was hoping they'd give us the ability to build out a squad for the caravan defense with upgrades as well. For example: +1 caravan defender (NPC), + 2, +3, etc.... Where each defender starts out with a pistol. Then we could upgrade each of them to have rifles, assaults rifles, laser rifles, miniguns, maybe even power armor. Almost like a upgrading a moving tower defense. And then have the option to select a super hard caravan defense difficulty where your caravan is getting swarmed with enemies, that only your most maxed out build and squad could take on. Anyway, just dreaming big here...lol
Especially since turrets are so broken rn, mine shoot at the ground, I go to build mode, fix them, come back and molerats are eating the turrets and the turrets are not shooting...
Turtle didn't tell the whole story. If someone starts a caravan, the whole server is alerted and other players can help him. Ok. But they only get 1-3-5 supplies for the whole job, which can take 15+ minutes. That's nothing. So you ONLY have to do the caravan helper hundreds of times to be able to afford something. :) RU-vidr JuiceHead has explained this well. It reminds me of the new season system, where you don't get rewards right away, instead you have to buy them with points you earn.
At 0:10, you say, "I'll let someone else to cover the lore of the caravan; maybe Oxhorn will do it." Sadly, he can't, because his gameplay skills in this game is abysmal, so he wouldn't be able to survive a caravan. Every time he live streams this game, he can only deal tickle damage because his build is lousy. He is the total opposite of you: all lore, but zero gameplay skills.
Appearently the Sentry Bot does radation damage in the nuke silo as of now. 😂 It was a bug. Stopped after i dead twice. Instant death basically cause the radiation stacks really fast.
The one vendor I was really looking forward to, due to the unique apparel they had. Oh well. I like the idea of this new system, and I hope this gets fleshed out more in the future. Like a great comment mentioned, and I am sure many people are thinking the same. It's a shame this is not a cap sink, at least in this current iteration.
This entire game is busy work. The only bright spots are the story updates. It really depends on how tedious the busy work is as to whether I stick around for this update. God knows I'm not sticking around of that garbage RnG fest they are calling legendary crafting.
Interesting caravan company. Now going one stride further is taking over major regions of the map and doing new secure installations for efficient new companies would be nice. It could focus on true rebuilding of USA, by going beyond regular grinds of regular humans in a variety of ways like finding really advanced farming methods by making teams of robots, or making automated farms, or making advanced tech factories of vertibirds, or rebuilding a monorail, or making a cannibals' meat supply chain, or doing bizarre controlling like what is done by Enclave and the Priests of Mothman by controlling people places and things.
This looks not like fun at all. Another grindy, fomo mechanic added to the game. Bethasda heard we have nothing to spend our caps on and they came up with this? Yeah, no. This confirms for me I'm gonna sit this season out.
This is awesome. Hopefully this event and personal mile post doesn’t get old. Are you still putting out a video going over how you are prepping for the Legendary Crafting?
Running around with a Brahmin for 30 MINUTES spamming hurry up just to get 10 supplies... no thanks. My brahmin passed the same tunnel twice before it finally decided to let us finish we had 40 seconds left. Screw you Bethesda we should only have to do one lap and it shouldn't take more than 15 minutes CMON
So, do you need to do the Caraven alone or can people in your team join? Like will it mention on the team members name, like Atlantic City or Daily Ops?
Can you skip tiers? So can I save supplies and get tier 3 without buying the lower tiers? How is the ratio of the small/medium/large shipments regarding caps vs. supplies? Is it more cost-efficient to run smaller shipments after using up your discounted shipment per day.
I don't really want to sound negative....but, i can seriously see the potential for a lot of things to go wrong or simply not work as intended. Put this together with the huge changes to legendary crafting and i can't help but get that sinking feeling of a patch, hotfix, patch cycle coming.
Caravans are so broken, the pathing needs fixing before it goes live! I ran 5 yesterday & 4 of them failed because the brahmin got stuck in the environment.
It would be nice if Bethesda would increase our max cap limit beyond 40,000 if there are going to be missions that regularly require us to spend lots of caps
you're looking for a stimpak diffuser. It does an aoe heal on teammates, although idk if the brahmin counts i believe there's also a medic perk that heals your allies when you use stimpaks, under charisma
Looks like a new caravan company is finally trying to sort of rebuild America. Now can we start renovating and securing the abandoned mall that is overrun by ghouls and send the supplies to that mall?
Can't wait for daily challenges to be "run x caravans" and so everyone will constantly be doing them, making it impossible to do it if you're not camping the NPC to try and be the next person to start one
Thank you turtle for another informative video! Can’t wait for the update video! What I would like to know is if the new weapon plans and the other plans are sellable or are they player specific because if this is all player specific then honestly it kind of seems like a useless quest, more fluff Bethesda is trying to add to keep people in the game.
I see so many bugs on the horizon.....for a re-skinned "Free Range" merged with the tunnel caravan. At first I thought it would be caravans like in FO4.
I hate to complain but the one thing I’ve noticed just so far is that the event awards aren’t good only some ammo and xp is all I’ve gotten I’m hoping they might change that
Whats the point of playing games at all then, jus throw your computer out the window and say you have done everything. Anyone ive heard say they have all the plans have garbage plans and nothing that is hard to get.
@@im160bpmplus You don't see the point regarding a new trading system, or new content in general, where you are not allowed to grow as a player? Let me try to make it simple: Trade money // maxed cap content... still doesn't click?
@@merovmerov7631 No the words you are compiling as what should be a coherent sentence doesnt click. And youve done it twice now. I dont even think you have stayed on topic each time you speak, its really hard to follow, either way. I literally have no idea what you are saying and I dont think many people would. I am guessing you dont speak English as a first language and what you mean isnt coming out properly. Anyhow, I make about 1m in caps a week and I still have things to do, so 40k is one small trade I make in 10 mins of being logged in. If you cant grow as a player it might just be a you problem. Just a possibility.
Oh you need caps for this? mhh I planned to burn all my caps for empty pails in the treasure hunter event right before the update as I think I'm missing some plans from last time.
@oakularoregon6623 could be something of the sorts, yeah. probably still tweaking a few things and preparing it for full launch. is a little disappointing how it didn't release with the new season, but it is what it is. i'm sure we'll probably get it sometime shortly.
My game lets me collect the supply's at stoney man look out but the diamond does not disappear and when I go to turn them in it says I don't have them?? Getting really frustrating to not be able to get this going in the test server!!
