I was excited back in the day, I'd completed FO3 and done all the expansions.. then New Vegas was announced like 2 years after. Crazy times, now we're waiting 10 years plus :(
@@FranksMuseumOfGaming Bethesda has mentioned recently they might start giving the rights to other studios after the success of the show. Perhaps an Obsidian/inExile Fallout is possible before a Fo5 what with Microsoft owning all the companies.

Every person who worked at Obsidian during the production of FNV no longer works there so I don’t get the hype of another Obsidian Fallout game (we’ve seen how well Outerworlds turned out) 2. Todd Howard actually outright said that *because* Microsoft bought the companies you mentioned, it’s actually far *less* likely for them to be selected to produce the next Fallout.
@@Dirty_Dan109 Jsawyer released Pentiment with Obsidian, Tim Cain did some work on Outer Worlds and Brian Fargo is CEO of ineXile. But I haven't heard that about Todd Howard until you just told me. I wonder why that would be.
honestly probably the best trailer I've seen. perfectly puts into place what the game is going to be, and portrays the courier as both the protagonist and the unknown force that will forever change the Mohave, for better or worse

I remember like it was yesterday, watching this trailer as a kid when it dropped Feb 4th 2010. It was the greatest trailer I ever watched in my entire life. I couldn’t wait for Fallout New Vegas to release, I remember watching the spectaculations. The hype was unreal. Nothing like midnight launches at GameStop !
Thank you so much for remastering this trailer! I was trying to find footage of it in true HD, but was having a tough time. Watching it again made me time travel back to 2010, just a kid who had just finished Fallout 3. It's funny looking back now that I've finished all the games in the franchise and even the TV show, I still get the same feelings in my stomach watching this trailer that I did back then. You're the best, my friend!
Ah so glad you liked it. I have the exact same experience it seems, I'd finished Fallout 3 and all the expansions and was so surprised that New Vegas was coming out so quickly. I didn't know all the politics of developers etc just enjoyed the game. It actually didn't ever crash which was lucky. I was soft locked after I accidently killed Caesar and stopped his quest.
@@FranksMuseumOfGaming It was just a magical spot in history, wasn't it? Skyrim wasn't out yet, and personally, I hadn't played Oblivion or any other open world RPG with that amount of freedom. So it's hard to describe just how special Fallout 3 felt back then. I played the PS3 GOTY version, so it was... tough, to say the least 😅The fact that I still loved it and hold no resentment towards the game for its bugs speaks volumes to its quality!
I hope sometime in the future whenever we get a New Vegas remaster/remake (lets be real itll happen eventually) that we could get the city of New Vegas in all its glory like we see here in this trailer
fuuuuuuuuuucking hell... The entire fallout community crave for that fucking new vegas remaster that's never comming up, especialy since we saw it at the end of the amazon serie... all of our hope are on a team of good willing modders that are working on a fallout 4/new vegas rework. And it's maybe best that it's in the hands of some other people than bethesda and todd howard . let's be real, we all want that game remastered but i'll be butchered by bethesda changing shit and ruining mechanichs to "try and make this more up to our time"...selling us some random bullshit with probably just the same game motor with a few graphic changes to not waist to much money on this and sell the same shit. Kinda like their latest update on fallout 4
I love the game, because he follow fallout and fallout 2 ( i speak the time and the region ) I love the graphics this game, but very bad to westside, freeside and the strip are empty. You have mick and raph, THE king HQ, actomic wangler, the laser store ( i am kill them so dont remember the name) and final the fort. Also the limiteds hides spots, yeah miss people, store or litteraly of the live. Ps: i known the game is bad optimized. I play on xbox one and i had very many crashs/ back screen after had to take my first DLC.
