When discussing Fallout New Vegas or any Fallout made by Interplay / Black Isle / Obsidian don't bring Bethesda Fallout into it, they break so many lore even within their own writing, just warning tho because some old fans are very on edge when talking about Fallout lore.

I knew I should have gone at them with my bare hands like a real man instead! Gods my brain is right! Jokes aside it can be interpreted that way or just that your brain is messing with you. Honestly all of the events in the DLC are rather slapstick at times.

2:43 i love this. all of the other "canon" bits of the courier's past, save the divide, are things the courier can say, and therefore if you don't pick that dialogue, they basically never happened. but this line comes from "another" "character", and thus it is absolutely canon that the courier is an impulsive maniac even before the two bullets
I don't know about Rex, i think Rex doesn't have higher consciousness like human, i think Rex personality is stored as AI persona and the brain is just like a glorified storage data since Rex doesn't change personality after changing his brain , he just need to be adjust with the new memory inside of it. It's remind me with the main quest of canceled Fallout Van Burren, Original Fallout 3 from the OG team when you need to find new storage device for the researcher robot inside the Dome to contain viral infection research data and one of the many option is to use human brain as storage. Check Fallout Bible and Fallout Van Burren design document, it's really worth looking into.

Play the dlc, as I remember, was some type of connection when The Tink Tank removed the brain from your skull and put some sensors to stay alive, then Morbius stolen the brain, because when the job is done they will disconect the brain killing the courier in the process, or becoming in a brainless human like the ones who live in all the dlc map
@@obliviousmooncake1008 yep, The Tink Tank was who developed or helped to develop all the american tecnology in the fallout franchise, and when the war ended with all civilitation, they still working and developing new tecnologies, but they lost the way, the sense of progress and his bodies because they was too old. The courier brain was a succeful experiment from thousand of failures that remain walking outside The Tink Tank. Ps. I need to play again Fallout NV, i didnt get that ending
it makes no sense though because you are the brain. the courier is currently the one in the vat. the body of the courier is just being controlled by a machine
