@@fredwupkensoppel8949 🤠 I'll stop the world and melt with you You've seen the difference and it's getting better all the time. There's nothing you and I won't do I'll stop the world and melt with you I Melt With You 1982 by Modern English
I remember playing fallout 1&2 when I was a teenager, I wish I could go back and relive those days, also Morrowind, quake 3 arena, allied assault, twisted metal 1&2, resident evil 1, arcanum, decent, diablo 1&2, commandos, mortal Kombat series, halo series omg the list goes on!!!!
Is it weird that, more than the visuals or acting or whatever, I'm almost more excited for the soundtrack for this? I always thought the focus on older music in the Fallout games was so brilliant, and I look forward to see what they pick here. :3
@@funtimeclassicfoxywolfy4549 So can you imagine it also involving Creatures in past Fallout games? Cause I would love the use of those episodes that can showcase Deathclaws, Radtoads, Honey Beasts, Radscorpions, Cazadors, Radstags, maybe Sheepsquatches
@@Thatguyjo3773 yeah and the actors excuse was absolute garbage. He just wanted to show his face and have master chief associated with his face. That’s not the point of master chief.
Agreed, I get super excited to see new Sci fi, comic book and video game projects and then when they come out it's complete garbage. I hope this is not true for Fallout.
I was an extra in this and what I an say about Jonathan Nolan is he is incredibly efficient and runs everything like a machine. Also expect this to be hardcore in every way
So I'm very apprehensive about this. Trailers are supposed to take the best bits of something in order to really sell it. And while the trailer does sell it as being something plausibly interesting and worth giving a chance...*that's* the best bits?! This honestly looks comparable to if not slightly lower quality than the fan-made Nuka Break series a decade ago. So... yeeeaahhh... I'll give it a shot, but I honestly think I might've had more hope had they simply announced a Fallout series without a trailer at all.
This looks good. The 50s music (and maybe flashbacks to nuclear gadgetry) must be used and abused because it tells it apart from other post apocalyptic shows.
He also plays "Finch" in the show Person of Interest, who's a main character and good guy. It might a take a little getting used to it to see him a a good guy.
Looks great, can't wait! But what really kills me, is that they can make Fallout films, BUT CAN'T KEEP FALLOUT 76 ONLINE, FOR ALL OF THE PEOPLE WHO SPENT £50+ FOR THIS. I wasn't aware that our purchased item had an expiry date!?
I noticed the same thing. It actually took me out of the experience. I hate when stuff isn’t done right and it makes me wonder what else they will do wrong.
Are you an Osprey pilot? I’m not just curious about what you said so I looked around YT for Osprey takeoff and transition and the Vertibird should have kept its props at 45 degree angle for few more seconds to build up some speed but it’s not too far off
@@StreetComp it just usually requires a high amount of sustained vertical lift until you establish enough forward movement. So typically at transition and lower speeds the blades are printed more upward than forward. I’ve actually only been on a single flight where the blades were fully forward.
@@enginepy thanks for that engine, that’s awesome you’ve been on one. So original post is essentially correct and heavy looking Fallout Vertibird should keep its props more up - since it’s based on a fun videogame I’ll give them a pass 🙂
@@StreetComp true true. It is nice when there is as much realism as possible in the little details. Japanese stuff always seems to get the feel and movements more accurate. Or things like James Cameron does; he nails those details in his tech
He's a main character, not a random ghoul. They intentionally made him more attractive vs other ghouls to according to articles about the show. It's to make him more likable and probably also easier to replicate during filming.
@@stukablyat7136I agree they coulda adleast rotted his teeth and maybe do something with the eyes I think if they go all out on Ferals though itll be forgiven in my opinion 😂
I would be disappointed if they don't integrate skills like someone who is very charismatic or someone who isn't effected by radiation, can talk to robots, etc.
I 100% agree. So stupid to place it in California, and then basing it off the style of F4. But ofc Bethesda is going to use their assets over Black Isle Studios’. Sad that T*dd has to oversee it.
Looks pretty decent. How much involvement does Todd Howard have with this game though? I think I recall hearing that there was a fair amount of co-operation to help ensure that the lore was respected, but how much of that was Todd specifically?
I first heard about this from Todd Howard on the Lex Friedman podcast, I thought it sounded like he was very involved but was splitting time between this and other projects
@@shadetreephilosopher5568 That sounds promising at least. Bethesda may be missing the mark a bit lately, but Todd Howard at least seems genuinely invested, so that's worth something. Thanks for the heads up.
Bro Todd is the last person you would want working on a Fallout series. He has openly showed that he and Bethesda by extension don’t give a fuck about lore accuracy. Ffs they made F3, F4 and F76 - the objectively worst Fallout games in the series.
@@stukablyat7136 I'll give you 76, but I actually like Fallout 3 and 4, though I'll agree that NV is the best of the FPS Fallout games. I'll take someone enthusiastic (if not necessarily the ideal choice) over simply licensing the IP over and letting the series writers (who may know and care little about the property) determine the direction of the show without some consideration at least.
@@ThatSoddingGamer yeah I agree with you on that actually. It could be much worse (just look at the Witcher or Halo series as an example). As for the games, I just wish they stuck with the same RPG elements that made the first games so good.
Finally a FALLOUT movies....been playing Fallout 1, 2 and Brotherhood of Steel. Than comes Fallout 4 with requirements too high for my wallet. Still playing Brotherhood in the past before I need to change my old laptop. Ah good old times
Can't wait for this. Oh, the song "Tornerai' from 'Trio Lescano' totally fits in this world, like with a nuclear explosion in the background or something?
I once know a man who fought against the army of enclaves by himself and purified the waters in the commonwealth. I know a man who fought against the legion in the great battle of hoover dam. I know a man who defeated defeated the syndicates from taking over Boston and I heard he is a man out of time.
The deal breaker for me is the trademark fallout dark humor and quirky story telling,if they get the feel wrong the fans will go rabid, and it's really hard to tell with the trailer....
