I am over 50yrs. old and I recently blocked my sister and niece from my phone for their disrespect and setting up situations to have me be verbally abused for being transgender. I was molested as a child directly because of my family. They thought that having me physically assaulted would do the trick. My abuser saw what was important to my family. He would chip in on hitting me in front of them and when they weren't looking he would be molesting me. For all of the ignorant people in the world, LOVE and CARE is the best ingredient for teaching.
