Familiar Faces Forgotten Names | TV Quiz 

I only got three correct. Some faces I recognised and shouting ‘Tomorrows World’ but not remembering the name. Loved this, thank you.

I knew every single one, so I must be getting old. But as a kid, I did used to watch a lot of telly.😀

I got most of them. I always get Cliff Michelmore and Robert Robinson mixed up with each other.

Brilliant, a lot were on the tip of my tongue, then when revealed "Ahhh Yes". Enjoyed it but scored poorly :)

25 for me & should have got Katie Boyle too. Three faces from Call My Bluff in the 30 with host Robert Robertson and two team captains in Frank Muir and Arthur Marshall. Great quiz Stu, keep them coming.

I got a handful. Some were easy. The rest: Knew the face, not the name. I had even forgotten the character's names for whom some became famous. Nice one, Cheers.

I remembered most of them,some names just eluded me…..Rick Jones with the finger mouse made me smile. Looking back, they all seemed mature and sensible people.Thank you.

Ah, Joan Bakewell - "the thinking man's crumpet."

23/30. Most I remembered well and I recognised them all but couldn't put names to their faces. Joan Bakewell was easy - she had a holiday cottage in my village and treated us locals like a lower form of life. She sold up and left after she fell for a local quick-witted character's prank and was heartily laughed at. 😅

There were two that I didn't recognise at all. As for the rest, I remembered all of them but could only name about half of them as my memory isn't what it used to be. Great quiz!

Good to see `King of the comb-over` Cliff Michelmore featured. I knew all the faces, but some of the names escaped me. I reckon i got about 20 correct. Nice quiz as always Stu, thanks.

Just brought home to me how little time I wasted watching TV. I went about 20 years without one. I think I scored about 6.

Four very even piles for me - ones I knew, ones I recognised but couldn't put a name to; ones I didn't recognise (because photos were younger/older than familiar) but knew the name; and ones I'm no wiser about now. Seven or eight in each pile.

I got 1 Pat Coombs, I am always watching, You're Only Young Twice 🙂

Knew many of these, but I am 62, but if I didn't watch their program a lot, I don't remember their name, or sometimes know who they are. 😁

I watched far too much telly as a kid obviously... 24.5/30 (Mind you the TV was WORTH watching back then) Ones I didn't get where Madhur Jaffrey (read her books never seen her face) Geoffrey Wheeler, Rick James (only knew him as Yoffy) and Judith Hann, Three I could only remember their surnames Bob Grant, Heinz Wolff (I thought he was Max) & Arthur Marshall . Always liked Pat Coombs as a kid, she seemed a lovely gentle person, which I believe she was in RL as well. Great trip down memory lane with some of them. Thanks for that !!! 14/30. It helped because I recently watch some BBC Archive footage of Tomorrows World.

I remembered them all. As a child in the 1970s, these people were always on the TV. I used to love watching Harry Worth, the comedian. I thought he would have been in there.

As the actress said to the Bishop, "that was a hard one"!

21 out of 30 and I did recognise Cliff Michelmore and Joan Bakewell and I knew it was Charlie but didnt know his surname was Williams.

Most of the actors and actresses, you might remember their character names, if they played regular characters - didn’t at first recognise Norris McWhirter from Record Breakers - another game you can play with most of these people - Spot The Live One!

Only stumbled over 5 but I managed to remember the first names of 3 of them!

As with everyone else, I was shouting the programme, but could I remember the names!! I suppose as a wee sprogger, you don't pay attention to the credits. Great quiz though, thanks for giving your time to create it.

3/30 in the USA. (Rita Webb, Arthur English, and successfully guessed Madhur Jaffrey because we own a cook book of hers).

I got 21, I knew their first name, Gloria Hunniford was so easy, I remembered Johnny Morris from Zoo Time. 😅😅

Missed five so I remembered most of them. Rick Jones of Fingerbobs fame used to be in a band called Meal Ticket - I haven't heard the album since the 1970s but one of the songs that Rick sang stuck in my head - it's called I Like Your Act But Don't Give Up Your Day Job. 😁

All except for 4. Weirdly enough, I knew the name Geoffrey Wheeler, but couldn't put the name to his face. Arthur Marshall was one I couldn't remember, despite having watched, 'Call My Bluff', many times in the 70's and 80's. Rita Webb had me stumped as did Mary Parkinson. The rest didn't require too much recall to recognise them, though. I suspect you could do at least another couple of these types of quizzes, as there's many who fit into the same category. Those who were on the telly for a number of years, then suddenly disappeared, never to be seen again.

That WAS a toughie! I got 11 wrong, mosrly because i wasn't quick enough, but I've no excuse for not getting Arthur Marshall because he was a neighbour of mine in rural Devon back in the 80s!

I think 25/30. Didn't get Bob Grant, Ted Moult, Geoffrey wheeler, Cliff Michelmore, Mary Parkinson or Joan Bakewell (The phrase "thinking man's crumpet" did spring to mind but to no avail). I'm counting Geoffrey from Rainbow and Yoffey from Fingermouse as correct and there's nothing you can do about it! Oh, and that's not a great picture of Katie Boyle.

Surprised myself with a mid 20s. Had to pause a few times while my brain searched for the answer. A couple I knew the first name.

I'm old watched a lot of TV and must have a good memory. Forgot Rita Webb and got Ross Mcwhirter instead of Norris Mcwhirter his brothers name Damn 1.5 wrong.

The guy at Nr 12 I thought was Alan Wicker! The woman at Nr 22 I used to have nightmares about her and the man with the huge head at Nr 27 I watched that programme all the time, but never knew his name! 😂😂😂😂
