Knox presents his creation to be peeled back like an onion, on the surface sharp and shocking but as you look deeper it becomes sweeter and smoother, the style always bringing the mind back to the story. Keep crafting wordsmith, you have earned mad respect and appreciation, now it is time for you to reap success! Knox, you shine too bright not to fully see your pathway to success! Advice: my father, who was one of the finest Dale Carnegie instructors at the Institute in Atlanta for many years, he taught to always envision the goal, set it up, then always follow through to obtain. Knox, just realize, if you keep painting in obstructions such as "the family curse", you will not be able to find your glory. My Dad lived and breathed Dale Carnegie because he was an instructor at the Institute in Atlanta for many years, was just ridiculously positive up til the day he passed a few months back. Just to be able to hear him speak all of that knowledge once more, wish I had paid more attention! Anyhoo, Knox, truly sorry for all of your loss. No answer as to why, but, just keep processing and creating, and you will be able to keep coping at least! Til next time.....

My grandparents, all four, were alcoholic and physically/emotionally abusive. I've got three brothers. Parents never hit us or drank but the mental/emotional was rough. My bros are all married. All have kids. All are raising their kids respecting their emotions, their minds and setting boundaries which they make sure the kids understand the point of. Family curses /can/ be broken.

Wow, man this is great. I usually only watch the Taylor reactions, then saw the video you uploaded the other day about everything thats been going on with you personally and I first want to say my deepest condolences. I personally couldn't imagine going through all of that and still being able to work, upload reactions, make music, and take care of your family. You are.. you're a huge inspiration and admirable. I've been going on 7 years of being in a deep depression and have lost all my passions, writing lyrics and recording was one of them. What happened to me is not comparable to everything you've been dealing with, seeing the amount of strength you have, the fact you're still pushing forward, it - it really helps me a lot. I cannot tell you how much I respect you. Again, this song was great. The delivery, the more upbeat sound with the heart wrenching story, you're great. Sending nothing but healing, success, and happiness to you and your family.

This might be my favorite Knox Hill song. The beat, the chorus, the lyrics, it’s all so good. The story of the kid who died made me think of something that happened to someone I went to middle school with. We don’t know what happened but one of the theories was that the poor kid thought about it and then slipped. Beautiful storytelling and lyricism , Knox

Every time I hear a new song when it finishes I'm silent for a minute trying to take it in. I love this so much. The music is so upbeat but then you listen to the lyrics and holy shit they get dark. It really does seem like music is an outlet for you and I have to say it's working. Keep up the amazing work. Also the video is on anothet level well done Sam. Someone can have a great voice and not be any good because they are not good at telling a story. Knox has the voice as well as the ability to tell a story. I cannot believe he hasn't blown up any more than he has.
