My grandmother had Alzheimer’s, my dad had dementia and now my mom is suffering with dementia.. I worry about this as it is clearly in my family and it a cruel way to go in my opinion. Knox is fire on this one . The beat is bouncy and up beat and his lyrics are dark but poetic. I appreciate your reaction! Also the videography is top tier.

The fact we have veterans living on the streets being homeless is absolutely inexplicably stupid and should be unheard-of yet and completely incomprehensible to me of how it's remotely possible that said I agree with you if his grandma went through all that and got only the medal from when her husband passed away that's utterly incomprehensible by our government to not give her financial support if that was the case

I live in a port town in England and they regularly dig up unexploded ordnance here and have to do a controlled explosion. There were some big ones when they dredged the Solent (stretch of water on the south coast) to make it deeper for the big aircraft carriers. This area was bombed heavily in WWII and the legacy of it lingers. Nothing like the legacy of Vietnam on the local population though, landmines etc, but you'd be surprised how long conflict can loom.

That’s crazy I didn’t realize there was anything like that in England too but my knowledge on war and history isn’t the best so I’m still learning as I go lol can’t imagine having to worry about that though, the results of war are extremely unfortunate

It’s not a day to day issue, but there’s enough of it across the country, and more in some places than others, there that it’s standard safety education to not touch unidentifiable metal container type object that surface in the woods or surf line. Most Americans don’t know much more about WW2 in the UK beyond the idea that they bombed London in ‘the blitz’, but since moving here I’ve come to understand nearly every city of any size was bombed at least once, the Germans were trying to shut down shipyards and factories. And this went on for years before the Americans turned up to help. Americans are all proud of that, but we(Americans) aren’t really taught that we could have shown up earlier, rather than waiting until the whole of Europe and Britain had been occupied or used nearly all their resources, it would have saved the US in soldiers lives and cash assets too.

@@DuaneReacts when we got in theater, we had to watch a video on land mines…showing the results. It’s been 21 years since I was there and I still can’t traverse an empty-looking field without significant anxiety.
