I feel so bad that the family had to deal with that crap. A nice evening ruined. The employees were ignorant, glad they were fired. As for the racist, he's a weirdo and I'm sure everyone in town knows it.
I remember "The Talk" I had when I was a young girl when my mother told me that people were going to treat me differently than she and my dad did because of the color of my skin. I didn't understand at the time. She said that hopefully things be different when I was older. I'm 67 now and it's heartbreaking to see that young children still have to learn this sad lesson.

“Don’t want a lawsuit” is euphemism for “we have a mediator and are going to settle this behind closed doors for millions of dollars.” And rightfully so. BWW is accountable for their employees. They could have spent $100k on diversity and inclusion training, on unconscious bias, but now they will lose millions to this. Good. I hope they learned a lesson.

It was the employees who made a bad decision, and then the company made a correct decision by firing the employees and banning the customer. Don’t boycott BWW because the company did the right thing.
Have you ever eaten there? The people came in with 18, that is right....18 and most of them children, and there is not enough room in any B-Dubs to accommodate that many people in the general dining area. They should have been taken to a party room. Really, think about it, with that many kids making that much noise, most of the customers in there probably were already annoyed because that many people in one area is too many and they would have been blocking the servers and people going to the restrooms. I highly doubt this was about racism, because the guy said "They asked me what race I was", when we can obviously see what race he is. Why would they have to ask him when it is clearly evident that most of them were black. Now do you see why this sounds ridiculous to me? And there are black employees who work there. The man probably just said they need to move them where there is more room for them, not because they were black but because there were too many of them for the general dining area. Who goes to B-Dubs with that many kids anyway?

Answer shop Black. I've had a Black girl in her 20s say it's ok that black people get seated in the back because they might be rowdy. so if I go to eat the server will seat me in the back because they assume I'll have a ton of mishaving people with me.
Every week you hear stories like this. This is one of the great things about technology. Us blacks now have the power to record now and expose it now. We couldn't do this 15 20 years ago really.
This story is heartbreaking especially when they showed some of the kids crying. I applaud the restaurant for terminating those two employees but the damage has been done.
I understand because I've had personal experiences with outside races being quite racist towards me as a person of color, however, the largest population of people to ever be racist towards me was my own. If you were a black person who happens to be intelligent and knows how to articulate their words, you're too white to be black I've heard that on my life is a child even to this day if we focus on racism we have to focus on it internally as well as externally.

Racism is very common in the restaurant industry. The owner of one of the restaurants I used to work at refused to hire black workers and the only Hispanics he hired were dishwashers.
They should have told all the patrons in the restaurant on a loud speaker that, "Everyone is welcome here and seating is first come first served, no assigned seats. If you need to move, or leave, that will be your choice, including YOU SIR!
