The second lady who came out did a great job with the whole wacky situation. She had no clue what was going on. I LOL'd when she said, "I'm dying to hear it!"

First time I saw this, I wasn't just smiling/chuckling; I was on the floor and completely losing it, just like Richard was. Still cracks me up to this day!

+wannawatchu66 When the host and the crowd seem to be in on an inside joke, it would have been understandable if she forgot what the instructions were and turned to see what was happening.
I just checked the sources and could NOT believe that he died yesterday (on my birthday). Richard Dawson was the only man who could kiss a woman on the lips in front of their husbands and get away with it lol RIP to a great legend
My neighbors downstairs and/or across the hall from my apt. are thinking I am nuts. No one is over, but I've been laughing like crazy for the past 15 minutes!!!
A really good tribute would be a 72-hour, non-stop, classic Richard-Dawson-hosted FAMILY FEUD marathon. Start on a Friday at 7PM, and go straight to 7PM the Monday. No interruptions for paid programming or anything else. Just classic FAMILY FEUD featuring Richard Dawson as its host.
God this guy was so great. He was always kissing every girl on the show. "This is for luck" yeah right! The timer runs out and the buzzer rings. What does Dawson say? "Awww the hell with that"
This was up with the show where he asked,"What do you talk about with a stranger?"The woman said,"mutual friends?"These two got me laughing until tears--rare these days.
If I remember correctly, I read that the lady's answer had Richard on the floor for 20 minutes & one of the producers had to finish asking the questions. Richard finally pulled himself together (somewhat) to finish the show. Too bad we can't see all of it--one of the best moments in game show history!
This is very similar to the disastrous fast money round where one of the questions reads "Name an animal with 3 letters in its name?" One Bob said frog, the other Bob said alligator.
Best host the feuds ever had. I love it when he asked her, how the hell did you people get on this show and then when the buzzer goes off, he says to hell with that. He knew between the laughing she didn't have a chance to answer all the questions in time. Great and so funny
I remember watching this when I'd get home from school. Richard Dawson was a classic (kissaholic). Steve Harvey continues the tradition which I now watch with my dad. May Hogan's Hero be remembered - RIP...
I can't believe everyone is fighting about him kissing a bunch of girls. Does it matter? During this time it didn't mean much what it might mean to a lot of people today.
I remember as a kid having a blast with my family watching Richard Dawson host this show and some of the other game shows and sitcoms of the time. We need to go back to basics. Today's TV doesn't compare, and when a (rare) good show does come along (Disney's Goodluck Charlie), it never runs long enough.
I was so ready when he finally got the question out the second time, I was so sure the woman was going to blurt out "JUNE!" and just bring the house down
He asked during what month of pregnancy does a women begin to look pregnant. They wanted an answer like month 3 or 4. This lady said September and Richard just found it hilarious and couldn't stop laughing. Wasn't really a joke just a funny answer.

This just aired again on Buzzr on Friday, February 1st, 2019. I had been watching the show for a few weeks. Don't remember ever seeing the Dawson episodes before except when I was almost too young to remember. I had never even heard of this incident. I love Dawson's sense of humor and laugh at a lot of his one-liners and asides. But this was a whole 'nother level of insanity. I couldn't stop laughing either at Dawson's reactions. I was going to post it on RU-vid if it wasn't already here. BTW, this appears to be season 4, episode 183, aired 1980. This family was already returning champions over several days so they and Dawson were already comfortable with each other.
The funniest thing i've ever seen... I have a cough now for laughing a lot!!! I now live in Italy so I don't know if he's still living. Can anyone answer me please. Thanks
Why do I always see people so concerned with other people's wives and daughters? These families went on the show willingly knowing full well what to expect.
There are some situations where a person CANNOT stop laughing. It was Not a matter of Mr. DAWSON WON'T stop laughing! When the woman answered September, he Could Not stop himself from laughing. I know exactly what he was going through. It depends on your sense of humour and other factors, how you react.
There is some kind of funked-up curse or something on this part of the game, especially the foreign versions. Is the pressure that bad, that people just get all free-association or something with the answers?

What would have been absolutely hilarious is if after all of that, Richard gets his composure, asks the question and the second woman answers September.
