I don't like Quagmire's rant because Brian has done all the things Quagmire says he hates Brian for, but if Quagmire had just been like "I hate you because you killed all my cats" (which is true and also why I hate Brian) then I would have been on his side a little more.

Surprisingly Quagmire's hatred of Brian didn't start with the cat. The only reason it exists is because a member of the writing staff didn't like him and wanted a character to vent his frustrations through. They went with Quagmire, even though everything he complains about Brain to that character is guilty of himself. So it was actually a foolish choice, however most fans seem to forget Quagmire's hypocrisy for God knows what reason Also since this guy was on the writing team, he could have just suggested that they developed Brian's character so that he grows out of these pretentious traits. The Family Guy writers aren't exactly the best writers in the game

I mean, in the end the writers are just manatees collecting balls (if ykyk) 😂 But iirc Quagmire admits he also has those flaws but doesn‘t pretend to be better like Brian does. That‘s one of the reasons he hates him too Brian is pretentious, and Glen just a pervert xD

@@playerone198 Being honest about being a mass cereal killer, doesn't make you better than someone who killed one person. And he does pretend btw, he says he's honest about it. But he lied to Peter about liking Louis, he's slept with Bonnie and Loretta. (Both outside of cutaways) So he's had sex with, or tried to with ALL of his friends wives. And he is not JUST a pervert, he's a full on grapist. He's drugged women, kept them in dungeons, slept with underaged girls, had multiple incestuous acts, had sex with dead bodies, killed people, prayed on under aged girls, the list goes on. This character was a terrible choice for the writer to use as a mouth piece, because he is guilty of everything Brian is but also Far Far worse

You're honestly getting worked up over nothing Thinking Family Guy is nothing but a juvenile delinquent.
