Dylan White Seth MacFarlane gets most of his ideas from old movies and TV shows he's even got the idea of their own intro from another show *forgot the name of it
It actually makes sense that Stewie is wearing a dress in the Little House on the Prairie parody because back in the Victorian era it was common to dress baby boys in dresses and skirts until they were three ^^
My favorite one is the Little House on the Prairie parody. Not because of the comedy, but because of the music, especially the part when Brian, Meg, Stewie, and Chris are running down the hill. So soothing~ :3
I always loves how they even did that little bit of slow animation on hanks walk at the end of the king of the hill intro. the attention to detail in these is incredible. even the camera shake for the hulk intro and the movement animations for little house on the prairie
You're missing That Girl, Will & Grace, The Superfriends, and The A-Team. I'm sure there's others, but those are the ones I remember off the top of my head.
+Mike Barr if you read the comments more carefully, you would notice that Joel was saying how the Cleveland show should do the family matters intro. Which isn't possible, because like I said the show was cancelled...
My favorite was not a direct copy of one series but a montage of all the different cliches including police shootouts, discovery of a conspiracy and cutting the red wire on a time bomb ("Cut the red wire? They're ALL red!) Very well done.
Oh Lord, just when I thought I'd seen it all. If it's not one thing it's another. Talk about blasts from the past. Gone from the charts, but not from our hearts.
I like the little house on the prairie on where meg, chris and stewie and even brian runs like a dog.are running down the hill. and stewie says, there is a rock right there!
Similar case with me. I remember watching the '05 revival onward as a teenager then and getting the old stuff. The "Road" episodes I get from all the time spent with grandparents as a kid, same with all of the other very old references to movies and shows before 1960. The newer references (past the 60s up to the 90s) are due to TV Land with parents then. Not to mention that Missouri schools required reading and viewing of both the books and series of Little House on the Prairie for state history.
Not a lot of people even born in the 1980s here seemingly, so behalf of everyone who grew up watching Monty Python's Flying Circus reruns with your parents, that was spectacular. The horrible face coming right at the screen being Meg was, of course, the only correct choice, but still made me laugh out loud.
Lmao 2:21 I only watched the family guy one , and my parents are old and like watching the real show, so when I was in the living room one day and they were watching that I laughed so hard 😂 it’s so accurate
