Yes, normally Donald Duck would be the climax, but he's right there at the beginning so that you know you've entered Strange Territory. Also, Don Don Donnnn is the perfect way to end this bit.
I'd say Mario & Sora shaking hands at the end of the latter's reveal trailer for SSBU is the closest thing considering Sora's OG Kingdom Hearts outfit is a spitting image of Mickey. But Donald & DK in this cutaway is a close second.
Wonder how Donald managed to become a mob boss, he's notoriously down on his luck... XD Atleast Donkey Kong could have some success being large and powerful gorilla.
@@PerfectAlibi1well he probably was dragged into the bussiness against his own will and then despite all his efforts to stay low profile, he became the head of the family.
@@xadxtya The "Other" Top 40 Radio guy, Rick Dees. He had a top 40 show like Casey Kasem, but Kasem was known as the main guy. Dees still does radio, with a retro top 40 show. He also had a song making fun of disco in the 70s called Disco Duck
The joke rate and quality in this clip is reminiscent of an early Simpsons episode. No stalling or dragging out one joke for over a minute. They need to do a lot more of this.
@@andrewkim7956 Ah, come on. You're just using an alt identity to sign on, Nazri Buang. Get your terrorist threats out of here, bish. Reporting your ass again!
Family Guy was almost always funny. You were just raised by your surroundings to purposefully not laugh at "bad" jokes and instead go "Uggh... _eyeroll_ "
Anybody else notice that Donald Duck is smoking a cigar, but nobody else is? I figure the creators are making a joke about Donald’s voice, which has always been really raspy. If so, that’s pretty ingenious.
Actually that's actually Imus. They called him up to see if he wanted a guest spot and that's just how he answered his phone, which was being recorded as SOP. Seth heard it and was like "perfect, cancel his guest spot and use that"
One time i left a short with this exact video playing by mistake while i slept. And i dont think ive ever been the same since. I casually find myself narrating this whole scene without even realizing it till the end.
I once played a D&D Dragonborn Bard called Don Don Don Don (like Beethoven's Fifth). He wanted to be the exploitive manager of a band (an all-bard party), but it turns out that nobody could sing for shit, so he was forced to become the lead singer. Our band was called Give Us All Your Money, we were crime-themed, and we were all part of different genres (death metal, punk, oboe, mandolin, etc.) We crafted a model of our rival band's lead singer and burned it in effigy midsong (which was titled Somebody's About to get Brutally Murdered). This was also a wedding gig and the bride's mother came out and yelled at us for obscenity. It was glorious.
The best part about this show is being from Rhode Island and understanding a lot of hidden jokes. I have no idea if radio and tv personality’s sound like radio voice Peter all over, but that is most definitely the local news station 😂.
They all sound like that. Except for at prime time, even in non English speaking countries, the “smooth radio voice” appears to be one of the few human universal constants.
First they appear to be seated elbow to elbow, but then not only they are at social-distancing distance from each other, but they slide in and out of the picture like they're on a non-continuous conveyor belt.
@@soulsemblance3163 life action: iirc (it was many years ago I watched it) Salem is playing poker with a bunch of mafioso, he introduces them (various dons ) ending with Don tutti frutti and his favourite... Don duh dondon
