Chris, Julie, and their boys have embarked on an epic trip to explore North America over the course of the next 18 months to two years. Their Jeep and trailer are outfitted for everything this family of four might need as they travel the backroads and backcountry. From school supplies to six weeks of food, they have really thought of everything.
Their Jeep storage solutions are some of the most ingenious we've seen, especially the utilization of overhead space. It's obvious that Chris and Julie spent plenty of time finalizing their design before starting their journey.

Wow!!! You guys did an amazing job utilizing every inch of space in that Jeep, very impressive!! Also as impressive is the decision to change the norm, sell the house and enjoy life on the road with your family. These are adventures your kids will have for a lifetime!! My wife and I are following along and look forward to the adventure. Thanks for sharing your story, my wife and I sold our house last year as well. Not on the road yet, but adventure has been part of our lifestyle for the last 14 years after leaving NYC. Have fun!!

Pretty sweet rig!! What is the total weight of payload, to include passengers, gas, water, trailer? Seems like this is pushing the limits of the jeep?

Cool setup, but they are way beyond their GVWR, this is a setup bordering a 3/4 tuck. If they have a wreck, they better have some good insurance covering an overloaded vehicle. Heavy RV tower here...just cuz u have an AEV converted JK with a hemi that can handle the load, don't mean your frame can. Upgraded springs don't change the GVWR of your original OEM factory spec
