blanket and tarps do not absorb the shock from hail, material has to be something like cushion or inflated object that can absorb the shock . Even creating later of air between car and covering material will protect.
Just put a huge blanket or tarp over the pool noodles (and secure it) and the hail will hit the blanket and part of the blanket that is sticking out on the sides rather than the side of the car
Just bought a Sealskin Supreme car cover for under $160. If it actually protects my car during a hail storm I'll take video of it and post a review which no one on youtube has ever done

You act like everyone has room? A lot of houses do not have basements for storage so it goes in the garage... or have more cars than garage space... do you people even think before typing?

@@lissateka Well Ive never had a BASEMENT in my life in any house ive every had ive had over 30 homes !!!! i use my garage for storage and also put my car inside it !!!!! don't you use your house to put thing in does it have rooms in the house ,, I find I put tables and chairs in rooms and beds , and I tend to put the CAR in the GARAGE ,,, not sure why you would put all your stuff in the GARAGE and store it there put it in the house
