@@jan_phd the fact that Sophia was ambitious is feminism. Ruth had a job as a teacher and that's feminism. Perhaps you don't know the meaning of the word "feminism". Try learning of it and then consider your comment again.
This one actually made me cry.. idk if its because I've been going through a lot lately, or my ex was named Ruth, or that I want this true love, but I genuinely loved this recap
Know that you are not by yourself champ, and that there is something about that name Ruth. Optimism. Get strong, be strong, stay strong my brother, and be patient, but know time will not stop nor wait. A barbershop moment on youtube.
He was in 2 life threatening situations and was medically advised to leave literally the most dangerous sport in the world. She didn't ask him to leave his career for her, she asked him to have some preservation of self and care about his life. God men are stupid.
@@Sgtassburgler He was gonna die if he continued, the doctors directly told him that. Any sane person, be it parent / spouse / kids/ friends, will advice a person in his position to quit, if they cared for him. Chasing your dreams is very much different than this stupidity.
@@PhotoJeticPoet Ayrton Senna died in an F1 crash. He was just 22 and no.1 racer in the world. He is still considered to be one of greatest persons to have ever raced in F1. Top level sports are rigged with danger. Pretty much every top ranked player in the world has suffered a serious injury at least once in their lifetime. Is it worth dying for? Probably not for the average joe. But top sportspersons are not average. Thats why they reach the top in first place.
I have so much respect for bull riders. My dad was a bull rider, i remember them so well how he would skip u to the gate through the sand. He looked so happy. He eventually stopped though as my mother was understandably scared and told him to stop. Although I’ve convinced him to have one last ride this year or the next and to possibly get a professional photographer.
While I admire bullriders' toughness (a _lot_ of bad injuries) and their bravery, I feel sorry for the bulls, goaded into rage and having straps digging painfully into delicate parts of their anatomy.
@@indiathylane2158 - These bulls are athletes, and get treated as such. The flank strap on them does NOT dig into their private parts, as most people think. They are bred to naturally buck. Stock contractors treat them better than most people treat their family dog. They get get the best care, and food money can buy, as some are worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. Even after their careers are over in the arena, they get to finish their life breeding, and grazing until their natural death. These bulls know their job in the arena, and you’d be surprised to hear that you can actually pet a lot them like pets in the holding pens behind the chutes. There use to be a bull in Texas that did a victory lap around the arena after throwing the rider off, and did this every single time. If he was a abused animal would he run around the arena before going back to the holding pens? No likely.
@@indiathylane2158 That isn't accurate in terms of what haeepns to the bulls. The bulls are not made or raging, they are not in pain either. I'd highly reccomend doing research into a subject if your gonna try and make claims about it, especially serious claims such as animal abuse.
This review was really well put together, made me cry and think about my recent life that holds much similarity to parts of this film. Just really hit me deeper than I thought it would !
Man this movie hit hard. I assumed the movie was going to end with a heartbreak 💔 and found it so much hard for two different people of different ambitions to come together. Excellent writing.
So true 😊 this was a beautiful 😍 movie and I loved their story and chemistry Ps the lake house is a great movie and the twist wow 😯 wasn’t expecting that 😅 Ps ❤
Great movie! First time I ever watched it, my gf and I both got teary-eyed several times throughout. Didn't realize it till the end credits, but Luke Collins is played by Scott Eastwood, who's father is none other than the legendary actor Clint Eastwood! I've watched "The Longest Ride" at least a dozen times now, and it truly amazes me how much Scott resembles a younger Clint!
@@kylepeel3367 it's actually my favourite movie of all time. it's not very different from others but it has that few little things that change your perspective in life. and also the old school vibe. Hope* you enjoy watching it too.❤️
Lovely and heart warming story. I would have never watched it bcz college sorority girl and cowboy seemed so trite but had a surprising ending and I appreciate the recap.
Thanks to this video popping up on my rec list.... I just finished watching this movie.. And let me just say what a hidden Gem just lovely, so beautiful..
Wow...just wow! There are so many wonderful movies out there that would have been missed by so many, if it wasn't for the wonderful skill of all these Recap Channels 🥰
LOL. Every female now wants a 666. Six foot tall, Six pack, Six figure income. That is about 10% of men. Even women who are 5' 250 pounds with zero abilities want a 666. And what do these 666 men get in return? A woman that has been run through by 100s of guys. You need to raise the bar for yourself.
The bar for everyone needs to be raised higher. We're a generation of self absorbed narcissist with no concept of real connection or humanity because of social media
You need to raise the bar for Chads, because modern women are willing to tolerate bad behavior from the top handsome men, but the normal looking men are invisible to those same women (or they have to spend lots of money and time , on those women , to get a chance)
Scott's a good man and last I heard, he is still single but I haven't talked to him for a couple of years. He does like the ladies and the ladies like him lol. I met him back around 2012 or 2013 at a party we were both at. Our dates were aspiring actresses and took us to the same party that I knew right away wasn't the party for me and Scott figured out the same thing as quick as I did. I had driven there and told Scott I was bailing so we dumped our dates who ironically, were very "friendly" with one another and several other ladies at the party including the now infamous hostess. We hit a few clubs that night and got to be friends that hung out occasionally. I even dated his sister, well, half-sister, Morgan, for a short while. I don't live in California anymore nor do I travel in those Hollywood circles anymore either. It's just not for me. Scott used to laugh because I was his only friend that wasn't an actor or had no desire whatsoever to become an actor. I'm a woodworker and carpenter by trade and Scott is really into that as well. We built some awesome cedar log furniture for his house and he even helped me build a desk for Patrick Wayne, son of John Wayne, that had The Dukes movie and personal memorabilia, including his personal Winchester Rifle used in several of his movies, inlaid into the top of the desk. I should give him a call since I haven't heard from him in the last couple of years. I know he wanted to become a director like his father but I don't know if he ever made that move. I asked him once why he wasn't a bigger star and he said it was because he looked too much like his father at his age. He even dressed up as his father from the movie "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" for a Halloween charity party we went to back around 2015 or 2016. It was uncanny. Most of the movies he made were directed or produced by his father. Meeting his father was a definite high moment of my life and one of the few times I have ever been "star struck" (the other was meeting Kirk Douglas). His father looked up at me and said, "Jesus Chr*st you're a big bastard" lol. I'm 6'7" 265 lbs of lean hard muscle. Then he looked at Scott and asked him what role he figured I would be good for and Scott laughed and told Clint that I had no desire to be an actor. Clint gave me that signature look he has and said, "Good for you". I'm not sure what he meant by that lol.
@@thomasjoseph5876 It's a crazy industry where one needs an iron backbone to preserve one's integrity. It must have been such an honor to meet not just a film legend but a truly great man. Hopefully his son will follow his lead morally. This and The Choice are the only Nicholas Sparks works I find worthwhile.
Great recap. A coworker mentioned this movie years ago and I never got around to watching it. But your recap was really thorough and I feel like I don’t need to😅 but I will this weekend
Imagine being a professional art collector, preparing your finances to be ready to pay millions, for a massive art sale, travelling out to some cowboy nowhere town and then after one rubbish painting is sold which you had no interest in the rest is given away and you can’t bid on anything. Back to the movie, very emotional, enjoyable.
for yall out there-dont be scared to write letters to the girl/guy u love. My girlfriend and I are in a long distance relationship, but you wanna know how it started? I wrote her a letter. We are now in our second year in our relationship, and we each have about 30-40 letters from each other. I promise yall, if yall do it you wont regret it. When you grow up itll be so much fun to go back and read them!! Thought I should say this lmao...even tho we are in 2022, letters are still romantic. stay safe yall. be yourself!
A Great Love story that inspired another as truly a Touching one as my first degree is in Art and yet I am now a disabled Plumbing company owner alone looking for my Ruth.
What a beautiful movie!!! Relates to my situation too well, as in Sophia and Luke, and it's the time my Luke realises the same, that all your dreams are nothing without the person you love, sharing all of them with you! Loved the movie, it was beautiful, please, someone do tell me the name!❤️✴️
@@FireAngelChris Nicholas Sparks is a dude....lol Never read any of his books, but have loved all the adaptation of them. Though they all carry pretty much the same theme/plot.
This was a wonderful movie. On a side note, Clint Eastwood's son doesn't have Clint's height, but he does seem to me to have Clint's strength and potentially his talent. And I like this young lady too, beautiful and talented herself. Highly recommend this movie.
Very Cute Story. I never saw the Movie, but that looks like Clint Eastwoods Son. I think he will become a great Actor too. As Clint had many years to get great. But, I think I would have sold a bunch of the paintings, as to use the money for a bigger Ranch, built her a Art gallery, that people as Ruth could bring in to show, and consign, marked it good to get it going great, and saved a bunch of the millions in case some thing ever goes wrong, they have allot to back them up, and keep them safe.
