Ernest was a big part of my childhood growing up in the 80s. Remember watching Enest Saves Christmas every Christmas Eve and of course Goes To Camp, Goes To Jail, Scared Stupid as well as Jed Clampet in the remake of The Beverly Hillbillies. That spiritual ending brought tears to my eyes! Thank you Jim for all the laughs you gave to millions of people! RIP Jim Varney.
Great tribute! and creative ending : ) thanks for keeping his memory alive, I hadn't thought about him since I was a kid and he sure brought alot of joy with his facial expressions and sounds/voice work haha

These Ernest "hey Vern" commercials began around 1984 when I was in 4th grade and everyone I knew loved them and talked about them endlessly, then in 1987 when Ernest goes to camp came out after I seen it I laughed about it because it was very funny it and Ernest goes to jail were my favorite Ernest movies I have them on DVD and I watch them even today and enjoy them and I can pass them on to younger family members who weren't born during the time of Ernest, RIP Jim varney I miss you

Great Video. Go there as much as Possible to pay Respects to A True Comedian. Also if you get a Chance they do Ernest Day every Year in June At Montgomery Bell State Park where Ernest Goes to Camp was filmed. Any True Ernest Fan would have the time of there Life such a Wonderful Event.

@@LaunchRampProductions He was on The Simpsons as “Cooder the Carney”. Funny enough his Ernest character was referenced there with “Ernest Cuts The Cheese”, “Ernest Goes Somewhere Cheap”, and “Ernest Needs A Kidney”.

Me and my nephew was there yesterday to visit Jim varney's grave and the Slinky dog toy and the DVDs that you had left are gone I don't know the if the cemetery people have moved them or someone had took them
The slinky dog lasted over a year.. I’ve seen it in other peoples videos.. I’m pretty happy it lasted that long.. I know the family does a great job of stopping by and cleaning it up every year.. Love that so many people still come to pay their respects to Ernest just like you and your nephew.. Thanks for watching and commenting :)
