Re-uploaded with a small fix. Thanks to Film Fella Daniels, and the rest of you out there, for keeping me honest! You guys are the best. I wish RU-vid would let me keep the comments when I re-upload a video, but sadly they all get deleted :(
Hollywood Graveyard my favorites were Carrie Fisher and bill Paxton miss them both they were awesome and I can't wait to see the last Jedi when it comes out I'm a huge star wars fan my favorite bill Paxton movies are Apollo 13 and tombstone
Hollywood Graveyard how come not see that when they died and they buried him how come they didn't put a flat marker there that's kind of crazy you know what you put up you put a person in the ground and you don't put a flat marker there that's nuts and you also forgot what movie role he did he made a parents and Terminator with Arnold Schwarzenegger and True Lies so now family or friends going to see him pay their respects so I called his birthday they don't know what gravesite what was site easy and he's going to be listed as a John Doe
Belinda Stewart I wish his grave wasn't unmarked. To me that's so disrespectful, but the family may have legit reasons to keep it unmarked. He was a fantastic actor
OMG this channel is my new addiction. People are entitled to their opinions of course, but I have no clue why anyone would give any of your videos a thumbs-down! These are poignant, well-done, informative, nostalgic, interesting, reverent, and sad all at once. Please keep them coming!
The pain from losing the best mother/daughter duo still remains. As a 90s kid, Debbie played a large role in my life every Halloween season bc of her character in Halloweentown as Grandma Aggie 💜🧡 I also used to work at Disney where I made bears for families, fans came flooding in for the Princess Leia bears. Seeing young girls and boys being big fans of her really warmed my heart.
Thank you for visiting Debbie Reynolds, Carrie Fisher and Bill Paxton's graves and taking us along to pay our respects. I loved Debbie in The Unsinkable Molly Brown. Carrie is so beloved and iconic for playing Princess/ General Leia Organa. It was tragic to lose both mother and daughter only a day apart. Bill Paxton was a well known staple in hit movies during the 80's and 90's (most notably with director James Cameron) , and he starred in my favorite film...Titanic.
Imogen Leigh Try not to be to sad about it, It was her CHOICE to do DRUGS, and even prescription drugs can kill you so she knew what she was doing she was a big girl she knew they were bad everybody knows in Hollywood that celebrities died from drugs so she knew there was a possibility
@@stardustgirl2904 she was bipolar, it was also well known, she suffered with mental illness, she admitted she did drugs to cope, she never denied it, it was her shtick, she also never advocated others to do it
Me too! I also cry whenever I see Robin Williams on film! My son got a real shock when I started bawling in the film Nights at the Museum Part III! He didn't get it until this year when he had to watch Dead Poets Society.
I do hope Bill Paxton gets his grave marked. Its so sad to see unmarked graves. Especially Roy Orbison from your previous videos. I was quite shocked he didnt have one.
"Aren't You A Little Short For A Stormtrooper?" "I Love You, I Know" R.I.P Carrie Fisher 🙏💔 (1956 - 2016) May The Force Be With You #CarrieFisher #RIPCarrieFisher
Carrie had a great sense of humor. She was in the Film When Harry Met Sally. And others. So talented. And Debbie woth her divorce from Mr. Fisher after he cheated with Debbie's best friend Liz Taylor & they even became friends again years later. Debbie had grace & class & such humanity 🎉❤😢😊😅. RIP to all deceased involved Carrie & Debbie & Eddie & Liz too🎭🕊✨️🕯👏🙏💔😢🥂🌟💧😔🪦
I would think they're actually under a different name, one known only to family members, while the unmarked spots serve as decoys, but more importantly provide a physical presence for the public. Because anyone knowing where the unmarked grave is defeats the purpose of not being marked.
I really appreciate these videos. For us who are so far away from the people we loved that entertained us and can't visit and pay our respects, these are so wonderful and beautiful. The way you make them literally makes it seem like we are there with you. Many thanks friend!!!
Carrie Kowalski: Obviously you have excellent taste. Thank you for your eloquence. Undoubtedly, we are all blessed to be able to experience these beautiful locations vicariously through Arthur Dark. And his mellifluous baritone contributes wonderfully to each production.
Love the revisit. Thank you for taking your time with Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fischer. They are 2 of my favorites! Loved Debbie in Tammy and the Unsinkable Molly Brown! As for Carrie...well, I think we all know why I loved her!!! Thanks for posting Arthur!!! 👍👍👍
RIP Carrie & Debby. 1 year since the death of these two and it doesn’t get any easier remembering them. You our princess and general you’re job is done you can rest easy. RIP.
Watching this reminding me how precious our life are. Doesnt matter how famous you are, or how much money you have your life is only mark by the dash. Soon will be forgotten and buried deep in the cemetery 😭😭😭
The reason why the hymenoptera did not harm you is because you radiate positive energy. This revisiting of Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills is a pleasant surprise like a refreshing cool breeze amidst the heat wave of the Valley. Your presentation of Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher is what we have come to expect from you; with class and elegance. Your revisiting of Josh Ryan Evans and Steve Allen speaks to your thoughtfulness and is appreciated. And may God bless the deer that inhabit the grounds of the cemetery. They are beautiful, peaceful creatures that deserve a beautiful place to live. I should be so lucky to have deer eating flowers from my grave when the time comes.
I really like how you also cover off-camera talent too. It's great to learn about directors, stunt persons, wardtobe, etc. They may not be as prominent but are no less important to good cinema.
You have a great balance of current and forgotten Hollywood icons. I learn so much about Hollywood history. Your editing with the cameos are perfect. I'll ask again, why hasn't major network picked you up yet?
Debbie didnt want to go on without Carrie she loved her. And some how it seems as if it was meant to be. They are together. That's love. We will miss them, but we will also remember them😘 that's love. N.j.
Have been bed-ridden recently and stumbled across your brilliant tours. Really impressed by the way you balance the major stars with some of the fascinating 'now no longer so well known' contributors to the art form. Also super-impressed by your tact and sensitivity and your refusal to wallow in sensationalism and 'closet outing'. As a gay man I appreciate the fact that if you mention sexuality it is because it is germane to the narrative and clarifies, rather than judges. Your narratives celebrate diversity and achievement, and remind us all the ephemeral nature of life and the inevitability of loss.
Thank you for remembering Josh Ryan Evans and his new marker. He was a wonderful actor and I never missed a day o Passions where I looked forward to seeing him.
Arthur, yours videos are so incredible. We get to visit the graves of our favorite stars without leaving our homes. Also, it is an A wsome film history.
Wonderful. Each, every segment. Brought tears to my eyes in the beautiful mausoleum segment while thinking of the many hrs watching old movies in black and white. Sleep well, you wonderful unforgettable stars of our bygone silver screen.
I love your voice Arthur...your really good at guiding us round such interesting remembrance plots ...really appreciate all the hard work your researching and walking such distances reward us with. Your partners music is also perfect and he is very talented. Huge thankyou to you both from the U.K. 👍😉x
This is a very fun series and thank you for taking the time to produce them. I visited Hollywood Forest Lawn while attending the public memorial service for Debbie and Carrie. I found their resting place not too far from the church and I also was able to visit Liberace, Stan Laurel, Dio and Bette Davis in the front. Obviously I missed a whole bunch of other industry professionals, so if I come back there, I'll use your series as a guide to find everyone. I have a soft spot for Sabu primarily because he's forgotten and underrated.
Oh, is THAT what happened. Okay, I'll leave my comment again: Thanks for including Sabu. It's sad that he has been thrown to the sidelines when in fact he played an important part of Hollywood history. When you look at his build in the clip you provided, it's inconceivable that he could have died of a heart attack - at age 39 no less.
The inclusion of Sabu speaks to Arthur Dark's awareness of the importance of diversity. It is one of the shining facets in the entire jewel of his work. Regarding the issue of heart attacks, on diagnostic imaging, I have seen coronary arteries spasm and constrict causing a decrease in blood supply to the heart. This occurred in "healthy" people. I guess the take away is simply that tomorrow is guaranteed to no one and we should always make the most of each day in a positive way.
Austin Destroyer you're right about that they should do something about him too because you don't hardly hear any thing you don't hear much from Eric card as much and it's getting close to the 20th anniversary of the passing of Eric Carr and Freddie Mercury I just want to say a special shout-out to people for keeping them their memories alive we should special shut up a condolences to Freddie Mercury in our car because the music industry lost a true Geniuses when they died maybe live on forever in their music
Carrie Fisher was so wonderfully and beautiful and Debbie Reynolds was so wonderfully and beautiful too we well never forget tham RIP we Loved tham both.
Great videos! I always enjoy walking through old cemeteries. There a place in Tennessee called Cades Cove it's an old pioneer settlement and it's absolutely beautiful. Some of the graves date back to the 1700 hundreds. Also there's a cemetery close to where I grew up in NC it's not used any longer but the sad part is there's a lot of baby graves there only marked with a rock for the headstone. Keep up the good work!!
It’s January 2023. Carrie has been gone just over six years. And I still sobbed like an absolute infant at your profile of her - just like I always do. May the Force be with you, Carrie - and with you as well, Arthur. Thank you.
I had the biggest crush on Debbie Reynolds , Eddie Fisher was a fool to dump Debbie for Liz Taylor …. my favorite film of Debbie was " How the west was won" R.I.P. Debbie
Hy Arthur i love your videos. Keep them comming. I am curious why are some graves unmarked? (Bill Paxton, Steve Allen, Frank Zappa etc.)?Best wishes from Slovenia.
The courtyard reminds me of Westwood cemetery, very similar,I guess plenty of cemetery tombstones looks exactly disame. Forest lawn is so far the most common site of burial for the Hollywood stars according to the opinion of the many. Arthur, again thank you for this your videos gave us an education about the fallen stars, continue this.....
One of my favorite Debbie Reynolds roles was on Will and Grace, playing Grace's kooky, dramatic mom. She sings "Good Morning" with Megan Mulallay's character, Karen.
If you happen to ever loop back to this Cemetery again I hope you might visit the grave of Tony Jay. He voiced Frollo in Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame. Hellfire was one hell of a dark sequence for a kids film and Jay delivered one spectacular performance.
Hi Arthur, My parents and I have been enjoying your videos a lot. In this video you visited Richard Farnsworth. He played Matthew Cuthbert in Anne of Green Gables produced by Sullivan Entertainment. His performance was so moving and beautiful. I will always remember it. He will always be the best actor who ever played Matthew Cuthbert. Rest in Peace
