Just tried your recipe and I was amazed how good it was. I applied a factor of .63 to all the ingredients to reduce the size of the cheesecake. Came out wonderful, thanks!

This is not a New York Style cheesecake. Your burned it. New York Style cheesecakes are not browned. It's overcooked. I know some people seem to like that nasty burned layer on their cheesecakes and if you do, great but don't call it a New York Style Cheesecake because it isn't. It's your own concoction.

Looks so good. Will definitely have a go. But my question is, is it necessary to wait over night? In my household, once it comes out of the oven, there is no chance for cooling down. 😁

Increase the recipe to 25% of the original recipe. Use weight to get the exact measurements. This recipe fits to 7inch round pan as well but less taller though. ☺️ I hope it helps. 🌻❤️

Hi there.. I bake my new York cheesecake with the water bath method.. But after it baked & I removed the aluminium foil, there's too much oil/greasy formed (Not water leaking), oozing out from the bottom pan. Was it the butter from the crust melted? What was the cause of it.. TIA

Whipping cream has lesser fat content than heavy cream. But as long as the fat content of the cream is at least 32% that will do just fine. Heavy cream has at least 36% fat content.
