Relaxing asked him to remove the vid but he refused, if I remember correctly. (Eventually he did) this one flew under the radar because at the time something bigger was happening. (DE’s hype)
Seeing you bring up Dead of the Night reminded me of that massive leak from an ex-worker at Treyarch who posted information on reddit regarding not just his shitty working conditions, but also information on easter eggs that weren't found as of yet as well as leaking DLC 1. That was pretty wild to witness back in the day.
i think with that “game” making people need to realize custom maps are much easier to make rather than a game because you have to make everything from the ground up!
I remember Syndicate's video. I was 17 at the time and thought it was the coolest thing ever. At that point in my life, the only person who disappointed me more than Syndicate was my father 😅

Tom Syndicate.. yknow, I respect people exposing stuff like this and I’m glad it’s come to light. People who cheat should be exposed. That being said. Does Tom still make good/entertaining content. Yes and I still like watching his content. So I’m always a bit mixed on drama surrounding him haha
@@karolclark791 I agree that it’s sad that these people don’t get the credit they deserve at the time. And I try to support those who deserve it. But ultimately these are entertainment platforms and those who entertain succeed. It’s not much different from Hollywood. Which has a lot of corruption and horrible people, but they’re good at what they do.

This isnt the first time darlek has been caught out outright coping other people, he even faked records, its clear he wont change and i dont understand why people watch his content, stop watching him hes like ign, pointless.
Dalek and Syndicate did a ton to make the Zombies community grow, but the things they did to get to that point shouldn't be overlooked. The outcome doesn't justify the means.
Sure they cheated, but that's really just about it. They shouldn't be judged forever based by an instance of them cheating, and there's no true damage done by the community, maybe that's just my two cents
@@nebula1931 For example with Syndicate I'd imagine it did plenty of damage to people who were also hunting high rounds or other similar achievements without cheating who didn't end up getting as far. Could cause them to not upload their end results leading to them not receiving the recognition they deserved. Then you find out that they did it illegitimately and all this time it could've been you that was the one people strifed to beat. Don't get me wrong, the outcome of all this doesn't affect me beyond basically just leaving a bad aftertaste and feeling bad for the could have beens. Chances are in a few days I won't even remember this untill it gets brought up again by someone else at some point, since this is far from the first time it's been brought up.

@@nebula1931 Syndicate also ran a child gambling scam. He made tons of money from nefarious ways over the years, I hadn't even heard of the cod cheating until now but the gambling stuff was enough to make me take a second look at the guy. Its unfortunate
@@nebula1931alek did it like 10x from what I’ve seen. He does it repeatedly over and over again, occasionally uploading an apology video. Lex is even worse and is often a jerk about it or doesn’t even apologize. Remember when he stole Apothos’s gameplay? He didn’t apologize or respond to him, just put in the credit a week later in the description. And Syndicate has a bunch of stuff on his name. Watch them if you want, but there’s no point defending them when they’ll do it again and again.
In regards to Deviation games, This is what I think happened. Deviation games were working on some live service game (I think they announced that somewhere when Sony invested in them) and Sony wanted essentially a Destiny-killer (Because they've all done well). Then Jason leaves and the Bungie and Sony deal happens so Sony doesn't need a Destiny-killer, it has Destiny, so it effectively kills Deviation games. Whether Jason knew about the Sony Bungie deal and left because of it who knows. But this is what I think went down.
I dont know if I should be proud about this, but compared to the FNAF or the fucking FNF, this community is clean, I think the ZombieWho is the only grooming case we had on our commuity, we at least have to be thankful is it the only one and no other big zombie figure has done something like ZombieWho and Erick...
When people say the zombies community is the worst, they haven't been on seen the FNAF and FNF community or the Undertale community etc etc 💀. This community isn't perfect but it wayyy better than 60% or 80% of communities that are all over the internet, the zombies community I would say is far better than the COD community

It's also 16 in some US states, Canada, Australia, parts of Europe & elsewhere... but the 'age of consent' is not exactly what people tend to assume it's about. A lower age is intended to avoid criminalising sexual activity between those similar in age... _not_ to give predators a legal line to work around. A lot of places (including Japan) have statues & laws for vulnerable groups which can raise the age of consent to 16-18.... and some US states have "Romeo & Juliet" laws which lower the age for teens of similar age in a consensual relationship. So it's not as simple as a single number.
the thing with TheSmithPlays is that he plays MINECRAFT now, an absolutely massively popular game, and he dropped fortnite as soon as that game died out, bro is a clout demon

I was in Zombie Who's discord server a while back, and he invited me into a private server because he "liked my vibe" or whatever and I joined. I looked back through the chat and it was filled with disgusting comments about women, including underage women (and the "16 is legal here") excuse, as well as hentai, including loli iirc. He wanted me to be his "femboy" (Even though I am overweight and not femboy material) and he tried sexting with me in DMs. Thankfully I was like 22 at the time so it wasn't grooming or pedophilia but it was still unsolicited harrasment. I called ZW and his friends out for being creeps and was removed from the server before I could grab screenshots because this was the first time I was in a situation like that. I have a large screenshot of a conversation I had with ZW in private DMs that I took after I was kicked but the DMs were lost when my discord account was compromised and all of my DMs were closed by the attackers. The screen shot I have blurred ZW's name out because at the time I didn't want to be involved in any drama but in retrospect I wish I had better reciepts. I can post them somewhere if anyone wants to look over them but I also understand that what I have to provide is enough evidence. EDIT: If anyone has ZW's discord handle I could probably get my hands on reliable screenshots EDIT 2: I found a version of the screenshot on my phone that doesn't censor his username, but it's before he rebranded or whatever so it's still techncially not reliable.
I honestly feel like Jason leaving was the best thing for CoD. Don’t get me wrong i love BO3 but as the years have passed, you come to appreciate the simple things and that’s what Jason took away with Black Ops 4. Yes the story in BO3 went crazy but the gameplay was still there. There were maps were PaP was easy and some where is was a quest. You had crazy spectacle Easter eggs like DE and you had Easter eggs where it was about exploring all of the map like ZNS. However when you jump to BO4 the core gameplay is gone. The micro transactions that were once optional are now a core feature in your HUD. Instead of increasing the perk limit like CW they changed the whole perk system. And that’s just for zombies, the rest of the game was also a huge step away from what CoD was. No campaign, 5v5 multiplayer. I’m excited to see what Kevin Drew has in store
Think y’all blame Jason for too much. Yes he definitely made some questionable choices for zombies, but y’all act like everything that happened in bo4 was his fault. Activision literally cut their funding halfway, bo4 was just doomed from the jump

can we shut up about syndicate...this was during a time where things were still new to people and we called training R@@@ train....he done round 115 live on stream after to prove these "high round nerds" that he can do it...sure this video got more views than any other zombie creator will get in thousands of years (dont get salty) but the video still remains one of the greatest achievements in zombies history.
If Syndicate had never uploaded the cheated video, I would have never seen and been interested in Zombies when I was. So, personally, I'm all for him cheating
