FANATEC Pedals V3 Damper Kit - Installation and Quick Review 

Got your black friday order yet? I finally got my V3 order today on the 15th.

My V3 arrives Monday as I was out on the 15th they carded me

i hear ya lol just got my peddals today tried few times and already ordered the throttle dampner kit breaks are ok

I just put the black spring on the throttle - shaved almost 1.0sec from the lap time!

Yea, but with the price difference you’re better to just buy the BPK and forget the damper.

Tried it but wasn’t a fan. For one real car throttles aren’t hydraulic. But the biggest problem was it makes the throttle less responsive as it doesn’t spring back as quickly.

Yeah it’s very much s matter of personal preference. Yes I tried it on It’s own first but prefer the feel with the performance kit.

Brake Performance Kit !Damper is shxt

Doesn’t feel as good as the performance kit on its own, and far more expensive.

I’d recommend the performance kit first. Then the damper if you’re still not happy. Most people find the pedal performance kit is enough on its own and it’s a lot cheaper. Links in the description to buy if you want to help this channel out a bit ;)

I did. Found it felt really nice but made the car continue to accelerate for a moment after I lifted off.

We tried that but it gave us lift off lag

Absolutely.

I've found that after a while, the damper kit loosens up a little bit, and the lift lag is non-existent.

I put it on my throttle, have to say I don’t like it. Too stiff even set to zero. I also have the black spring on the there. I find my knee gets too sore as it requires too much effort to keep it pinned and feathering becomes too difficult. TBH I’ve never seen a car with a hydraulic throttle either so its not a natural feel either. I’m going to put the red spring back in and see if that helps. Still working on the brake upgrade, Hard and Medium are too stiff for me, so going to soft next. Again both configs so far take too much pressure and remove too much travel from the pedal for my liking.

How did take out the fluid from damper kit? I don't see any way to unmount it.

@@carlosmartos7009 it involves removing the shaft on the damper.

So why did you purchase a hydraulic damper if you were going to take the fluid out for?

@@Justify4935 it allows for stiffer pressing of the pedal without making it feal heavy and slow because of the piston having to move through the fluid.

@@FuturisticViper touche. I just got my pedals and damper and it took a bit for it to feel, not awkward. Lol I just have it set to 1 and it's cool for me.

That's how it's supposed to go, otherwise it will hit the rod of the damper kit. Same thing goes if you put one on the throttle pedal. It has zero effect on functionality by being upside down.
