Great option to read a summary of such a comprehensive review and flow of information. A tad more tables, like NM + price (affiliated links) would be welcomed ;) Or much more better and long overdue - an independent FF review with table of hold NM / peak NM / Peak Slew rate / Latency (both directions) on with same wheel on a hub. That would be MEGA! A table with unique features like TrueForce (Logi), Hands-Off protection (Moza), EQ (Moza?), etc- would be nice to view / review as well. Just an ideas you (and viewers) might like. A guest (real-life or sim-scene) or two - for each review (summary of their feedback) would be nice and interesting option two.
That is, this is practically the same CSL DD 8NM only a little more powerful at 4nm? This is exactly what I understood from the video. I haven’t heard comparisons and improvements between CSL DD 8NM vs CS DD 12nm, you just said that it’s just a little more powerful, but in essence it’s the same CSL DD only at 12nm.
hy, i own a Logitech DD true force, and from what i see on this video, there is a way to implement true force if game does not have an option through the ini file ??? could you make a video and explain more about that ? If you going to do that i will be really thankfull... it is also possible to improve True Force frequencies in games that already have True Force in the options ?
@@irlantiisti2810 you missed all about the Force feedback frequency respond force ? I already own a Logitech DD True force which use this technology, and it is incredibly huge, so that is already a big difference between the CSL
Just wondering, DD2 is only 100$ more then the Clubsport DD, is cogging worth it to go up to 25 nm?? I know you said a consistent 12 is more then enough, but it does also have a safety button
the quality of your testing and review videos (all of them) are awesome, really great to have you in the sim racing RU-vid community... Thank you (and Tom)!
I am quite amazed by where Fanatec went. Got a Clubsport CSL and a then a Clubsport V2 almost ten years ago, and seeing direct drive servo motor, that compact, that efficient, with this construction quality is awesome. I am not into sim racing anymore but I love to see how this is going :) Amazing channel by the way, which you were there a decade or two ago :)
@@stonecold91 depends how you define high end and low end I guess and for which products. I would not regard Fanatec's BMW M4 GT3 race rim as mid range nor would I their FIA certified QR2 Pro. On the other side though Fanatec have no high end pedal set for example, which is surprising to me. Seems like a big gap.
@@Daz555Daz fanatec is a great ecosystem, i like them as a brand and i used to own a dd wheel base. My problem is that they dont have...lets say a good 300mm gt wheel. Mclaren gt wheel is on the very budget route while the bmw wheel is for the rich. Also the software is a bit behind the competition. I agree 100% with you that they dont offer a good pedal set. It seems like fanatec are selling their brand a bit more expensive for what their equipment offers. Asetek for example offers better equipment for the same money and i was just waiting for this review in order to choose where to go next.
@@stonecold91 Fanatec gets you with the PS compatibility. I don't see a lot of other brands doing much to compete except for Thrustmaster, but man I really can't stand their designs.
@@Daz555Daz I don't think most people are willing to pay >$400 for a set of pedals when everything is relatively expensive as is. I'd say they're covering 80% of the market with their price-point, but I'm somewhat optimistic they'll be offering a higher-end pedal set in the next year, since it's been so long already.
Top notch content as always from you guys over at boosted media! Definitely looking forward to your follow ups once everything is settled. Going to be switching from a gt dd pro to the DD+ myself, been wanting more power and was looking at simagic (their p1000i pedals have my utmost attention currently lol) but with already having fanatec every thing else this really has came at the best possible time for me. Thanks again for yet another thorough video Will and Happy Birthday from the US!
I am in the same situation. I have the CLS DD and was looking at Simagic Alpha Mini, the GT4 or GTC wheel and the P1000 pedals (really want those cool haptic feedback motors). Now I am not sure anymore. If I didn't have Fanatec I would probably going for Simagic. Their wheels look amazing.
Home improvements have caused me to wait on upgrading from my CSL V2.5. Now that I’m ready to make the change, it’s nice to have so many choices. Definitely leaning towards staying with Fanatec.
fanatecs csl dd is plagued w issues, it doesn't seem to be that different so I'd be very weary and do your research. fanatec is great, just get the extended warranty.
i was in the same position as you! but i’ve decided to try something new & got a semiucube2 pro. & wow the detail 25 nm motor has is something extraordinary.
Congrats on your semiucube2 pro purchase. My V2.5 has Ben so reliable over all of these years and is why I decided to order the DD. I got in on the $699 price just in time but it hasn’t shipped yet. Checking my emails daily.
@@dannyadams5250 bro trust me when I say the fanatec dd is so unreliable 😂 just Google fanatec issues. if you put in more than 2k hours it's not going to last at all. be careful and get the extended warranty. their qc and customer support is awful
Thank you so much. I appreciate this channel so much because its so unbiased and honest. The attention to detail is amazing. The amount of work you must have put into this is just wow. I can confidently upgrade my DD Pro base to the DD+ now for sure. Keep up the good work Bosted Media, you are one of the absolute best 👍👍👍
Great first look video! I actually bought my 8nm GT DD PRO bundle with your affiliate link after you made a video about that one quite a while ago. Really appreciate your attention to detail and thorough explanations and impressions. I'm pretty happy with my GT DD Pro especially after upgrading to the QR1 wheelside, it's very solid now. With stock plastic QR it was ok but not great. Maybe I'll upgrade to a DD+ eventually but actually 8nm is enough for me 95% of the time. I'm thinking the DD+ along with QR2 will probably be a noticeable upgrade from 8nm CSL DD Pro with QR1. But this 8nm DD wheel is still very good! What I am hoping Fanatec come out with next is a mid level priced FF brake pedal. It's crazy how much more braking feel I have in GT7 with Dual Sense Edge controller FF brake lever. I'd like to get that feeling in a real brake pedal.
How would you say the sharpness of the feedback compares to the Asetek Forte (or Invicta, though that’s a tier above in price)? I recall you highlighting detailed feedback as a notable feature of the asetek line, so I’d be curious to see how the DD/DD+ compare. Appreciating this could change with the Full Force software down the line. Great detailed review as always, thanks!
It would be about the same, given equal power then slew rate in combination with software is what determines how detailed and sharp the ffb is. Asetek advertise Forte slew rate at 6.7nm/s while DD+ is 6.2nm/s, both very high numbers, both higher than simucube 2 sport which is 4.8nm/s, but simucube 2 ultimate is higher at 9.5nm/s. I would go Asetek but I want playstation support so getting DD+. Asetek is clearly the more forward thinking company, their products are actually innovative and very well designed.
I would love to buy the CSL DD for the PS but I can’t fathom spending $700 when the straight PC version is only $400 and even the Xbox version is $480. Drives me nuts!
@@chickey31 just remember you'd apparently be sacrificing detail for power on the dd2. The dd+ will get you the same (better?) detail you already have and more power. Just not as much as a dd2. So same detail more power? Or less detail but much more power?
Dd+ peak is around 22 to 25nm anyways. It's holding torque is way better dd1 ans dd2 you can feel the torwue drip in some corners it won't happen on the dd+ nit worth getting it when you don't get the full benefits of it in driving and missing details. Dd+ is the best base on the market right now after many have tested it the conclusion is it's at asetek level while feeling as strong as there 23nm base. So yeah go for the dd+ the power will shock tf out of you lol.
Thanks Will, your channel is indispensable for the community with your very elaborate product reviews. You are the natural successor of Barry from SimRacingGarage. (Although I miss Barry’s reviews!)
I'm thinking the difference in slew rate between the DD and DD+ is only there to compensate the power difference. Since they measure slew rate in nm/ms the DD+ would need a higher slew rate to achieve 100% torque in the same amount of time as the DD. So if they both need 10ms to reach 100% torque then the DD+ would have 1.5nm/ms slew rate and the DD 1.2nm/ms, so DD+ would be higher technically. But humans don't perceive the absolute change in nm, but rather how long it takes to reach peak force, so both would feel the same at 10ms to 100%
I just got the csl dd a couple months ago. And it just depends on where you’re coming from. I’m coming from a g923. So the csldd is perfect and more then I can ask for. But honestly. My skill isn’t that amazing so I don’t see a point in wanting a club sport. If I was actually getting constant podiums in the games I play. Then maybe id consider moving up. Other than that. It’s pointless. That’s just me tho ❤️
I believe the csl is 6nm holding torque and 8 peak so I feel you lol especially with a heavier wheel or hub. Upgrading just makes sense in terms of strength. Also you can always sale your csl base to whichever friend or family member you can easily convince with a payment plan lmao
I’m really bummed they didn’t reinforce the jacks on the back of the base. I’ve already sent my GT DD in once to have it repaired for a loose connector, and I had it happen to me again recently. I know, bad luck/carelessness on my part, but I’ve had my rig mounted on a movable stand, and sometimes the cables would get caught under your feet when moving that stand causing you to pull on the cable. Big missed opportunity. Until mine stop working completely I have no reason to upgrade.
Good product, but I won't switch my DD1 for anything in this world. I have no goggling in the steering, cleanest feedback since day one after purchase and now that I got QR2 Pro Bundle, it's finally perfect. My pace is incredibly improved since then. I push 30 hours a week in ACC, and I want more 👽
€700 for the base sounds like a very good deal, but the wheels at the moment are all still QR1 wheels, right? I think the CS DD + Formula V2.5 would be a great deal, except that the extra €100 for just the QR2 feels like such a waste. Without the QR2, it'd be the same price as the Asetek La Prima bundle
Hey there, love your videos, they are really detailed and clear. Anyways I have a quick question. I'm looking into getting the Clubsport DD wheelbase but I will be using it on the next level racing GT lite pro rig. I was wondering if the CS DD is too powerful for the rig despite them saying you can use a DD wheelbase up to 13 Nw on it. Would the CS DD be okay or should I look at the likes of Moza R12 or perhaps even a CSL DD Pro? Many thanks :)
So hoping I can get some advice. Currently have a G923 and I know I want to switch to fanatec ecosystem. Got the pedals on sale and a wheel. Now do a save for many months more for dd+ or should I get the gt base and grow into that first. This Chanel is great thank you
I just broke my DD1. Im trying to decide between the dd2 and the cs dd since they are pretty much the same price right now. I think this video swayed me toward the cs dd. Although i kinda want the dd+. 😅
I'm torn between the Clubsport DD+ and the VRS DFP. I currently own a Clubsport V2.5, hence why the step to VRS would be a little bit more of a hassle. The VRS would cost me 1380 in total including accessories and shipping, the Clubsport DD around 1150 with the QR2 wheel side and shipping
@@bigredracingteam9642 Hey man thanks for your response :). I indeed ended up going with the VRS DFP. What a beast. I love it. Won't need an upgrade probably ever again haha. So my money was well spent :D
Hi, loved the video. Been watching you for some time now. I have a question for DD because i am looking to byu my first one(i play on g29). I play on ps5 if i get CSDD+ and lower the force if 15is too much will i loose other details if i play on 10nm or lower? Thanks and keep the good work.
thanks for this review, it help a lot, going to upgrade from csl dd 8nm to the clubsport dd 12nm, I think the 12nm will be enough for me... HAPPY BIRTHDAY Will
The CS DD doesn't feel that much stronger than the CSL DD> I finally got my CS DD and noticed that it lacked the low-end power that I was expecting. Whilst I did see an increase in peak torque over the CSL DD, I was initially a little disappointed that the CS DD was not 'that' much stronger at low/medium torque levels. I gave it some though whilst tweaking settings and came to the conclusion that it is caused by the CS DD having a completely LINEAR torque profile compared to (what I and most people run) the PEAK profile on the CSL DD (which boosts lower forces). I actually adjusted the setting in game to boost the lower forces slightly and I am now much happier with the torque curve of the wheelbase. Hopefully this helps somebody else who has a similar experience. Game: AC CSP Setting: FFB Tweaks/ Range Compression - Increased from 100% to 120%
I know it’s a long shot specially after you’ve already done enough testing for the year lol, any chance we can see if the csl elite wrc wheel with a qr2 can run full torque or would it still be limited. I am awaiting the 12nm base and had ordered that wheel, but noticed from your review on that wheel points out the bummer of being low torque mode
Actually don’t want to waste your time. Through fanatec website I believe they said it would work, maybe with a 180 boost kit it said ? But that may have been the 8nm base. But either way I’m pretty sure it will work! Thank you for this video man it was like waiting for a new album to come out waiting for this review to drop
@@momorious if you go to special notes under this wheel on fanatec page it says it can be used in full torque mode on csl dd or grand turismo dd pro.. I have already purchased it so I will be the test dummy lol
@@justindownes6696 of course it can be used with full Torque on these weaker bases as those dont have High Torque Mode and Peak at 8 Nm which is the max for Lite QR. This therefore only applies for CS DD, CS DD+, P DD1 and P DD2.
Customer Experience is unbelievable. You order - don't receive your order. You cancel - don't receive your money. You receive voucher - it doesn't work. You contact customer service phone - they say go online. You go online - you get no answers.
I ordered csl dd on 18/12/23 and was updating it and racing on the 22/12/23 only 4 days later. It's weird how different the experience can be between customers. I THINK it's to do with whether they have the item in stock or not. They just have a stupid system that way
Same. I live in U.S. and when I ordered my csl dd I was reading A LOT of people not having their products months later. I bought CSL DD in Februuary and received it in a week or so. Just ordered more stuff and also received in under a week. I definately feel for people excited and throwing down that kind of money and having such a bad customer experience
I've just sold my T300RS with T-LCMs and looking forward to upgrade my rig, I was thinking about Playseat Trophy, Fanatec VSL v2 pedals and this video got me wondering if it's worth spending an extra 250€ between CSL DD 8Nm and CS DD, any thoughts?
I used the combo you had and upgraded to the 8Nm since it’s release and just did the QR2 upgrade. I would advice you go CS DD. I will be going to the CS, reasons are 1) large diameter wheel(s) and it’s leverage over 8Nm and 2) the [FFS] Force Feedback Scale settings: when set to Linear its 6Nm, only Peak setting will give 8Nm and “could” drop-off during sustained high holding forces. I Hope this helps.
wait a minute, if you are super handy does that mean that it is possible to remove a PS chip from a broken csl elite wheelbase and then 'Paste' it on to the empty spot of the CS DD and you just got PS compatibility?
I am not sure if i wanna buy the La Prima or the CS DD, are these at similar level of smothness? i think you mentioned that the asatek need few filtering
Who has the best wheels and software integration and support in your opinion for a PC rig? I am a casual gamer. I will not be doing any pro level or competition racing. However, I do love my high-end tech. also, if I was to buy a high NM rated wheel let’s say 20nm is there a way in software to turn down the force so I could progress to a higher NM power without having to buy another base? @BoostedMedia
Finally fanatec reacted to the moza and simagic pressure. I still don’t regret going simagic over them though. I still don’t understand what is so hard about having a standard wheel connection like moza and simagic have. Just inventing things for no reason Lol the bearing connection real cars already use is perfect on moza and simagic
I wouldn't say it's perfect in real life. If you need one because you have higher buckets, so any time you get in and out of the car. The wheel develops slop was too dam fast. Even though it's still strong as the meet SFI. My favorite is from Krontec. Miatacage and OMP make ones that also index one way and have hard rods to take up all slop and any play that comes in. They seem to hold up better to multiple dis/connects for me.
@@SwazzoTV Ehh my early morning phone typing got a bit garbled. I pretty much have to use my QD anytime I want to get in or out of my car. I had one of the NRG QDs but it started to develop alot of play, or atleast more than I want. Switched to a Krontec style one and seems to be holding up better. Miatacage and OMP make a type just like Krontecs, a one way key with locking pins. So the ball bearing type is not perfect. Its a good QD, but there are better ones in market.
@@eclark9965 Anyone got sales figures that can support or refute the idea that Fanatec ever was the preferred choice and if they were that they no longer are?
23:30 This is HUGE. One of the biggest complaints I had when I got my DD1 was that the ports were not screwed into the casing, especially the usb port which is most likely going to something off-rig. Cheap to improve and would have made me worry a lot less about ripping it off accidentally. Honestly, it should have a usb port that's super reinforced on a replaceable board screwed into the case.
Thanks so much for this! I'm glad you answered the question a few of us had about availability of a motor shaft extension. Great clear and concise information as always! Glad you're feeling better and happy birthday. Good luck with the 300K Subs. You deserve it!
Yep.... i say it and for some reason the fanatec fanboys come out of the woodwork to attack me like im the cause of fanatec's issues as of late because i complained about two different times in the last 14 months that fanatec was doing me and alot of other customers wrong. Fanatec forums is where all hell broke loose finally
I think something to point out it´s that rigth now there is only one wheel in the Fanatec ecosystem that incude the QR2, (and cost $700) so if you want the full new QR2 eperience with your new ClubSport Base, you only have one wheel, or have to buy an aditional QR2 for your new wheel.... come on Fanatec don,t be this guys = 🍎
Been looking forward for that review, and it has enough depth to cover the whole subject and answer the question most of us had : good product or a fluke ? Great content as always.
Hi Will nice to see you on the mend. Thanks for the review and I honestly was thinking this would be game changing for PS users but upon your honest opinions and thoughts I have came to the conclusion hold onto my money and await for something game changing. As I use the 8nm boost kit and QR1 which is screwed in secure all recently bought within last 1 year 6 months then I haven’t heard anything to advise why I should drop more money on something that is just slightly more powerful. Nothing that enhances the experience significantly to warrent £800-£950 including shipping to uk for this. This is why I await your reviews and something tells me asetek sim sports will release something with PS compatibility in future that may even get me to switch from fanatec. Thanks for your hard work and review see you in the next one take care
Same, the only thing that attracts my attention is the increased slew rate, I'm not maxing out the ffb anyway because at high settings the ffb is already too strong.
I'd say it is too. But I am curious if 50% more power will help with drifting. I don't hear much talk about torque measures for sim-drifting as opposed to sim-racing, and I primarily spend my time drifting.
@@salkdhfpoahergpoahre1534 true, but that's why I set the ffb to 60-80% and like 50% in game. I mostly play GT7 and the ffb is more than strong enough with these settings and you get the headroom for good peak performance.
It's an exciting time to be into sim racing, sadly I lack the time, space and money right now to fully get into it and finally replace my modded G27 wheel, but the time will come and I guess there will be even more and better options (maybe a Fanatec Formula rim with integrated display? One can dream...). Until then, thanks for your videos and reviews, always great to watch (even if the videos are sometimes a little bit long). One gripe I have with Fanatecs bases is the naming, when they advertise their respective Nm figures, why can't the just put them into the name? Instead of CSL and CS DD(+) and DD1/2 they'd be simply called DD5/8, DD12, DD15, DD20, DD25 with an optional suffix for PS compatibility.
I love this channel. I don’t own a single sim racing product as I’m planning on saving to buy it all in like a year, and this channel is soooooo helpful in choosing what ecosystem and products. I appreciate your work so much!
Was in a similar position to you a couple years ago, and made my purchase decisions largely informed by Boosted. Just want to say that your faith in their information is well-placed. I haven't really found a single thing I wasn't first informed about from primarily watching this channel.
What all you thinking as of now? I'm about to get me a new base and wheel. Leaning towards the alpha mini from simagic, and the sim lab pedals. I have v3's now and they have been great. Just time to upgrade.
Man these videos make me wish so badly that I could afford any ps compatible DD wheel at this point. My t150 is nearly 7 years old now, and while it still works fine, I've outgrown the tiny wheel and want something with more detail, power, and just a larger wheel. Someday. Anyway, these look very good and I'm looking forward to seeing more about them.
Bro don’t worry about it you’re doing well with the T150 ….. it’s an immensely capable wheel and immersive. I have a DD PRO and better wheel and when I had the g29 I loved sim racing the most. Once I got into spending money I race every few months now. Enjoy what you have bro … and bless up
@@Max__apex Yeah I hear ya. Sometimes setting it all up is a real hassle. I just want something nicer, but I'm also afraid my t150 is reaching the end of its life soon.
Thanks for doing some unbiased reporting on Fanatec. I am in the market, next January or so. I have a CSL Elite, the V3 Inverted pedals and the shifter. It is all still working fine. The only time I feel like I want more power is driving truck in American Truck Simulator. I also have a PS5 and I do race regularly on GT7. So I need one that does PS. I really think the GT DD 8 Nm is plenty. I really only need the base. I do use the stationary shifter paddles which with the QR1 typed shaft it would require some spacing. I have two of the QR1's which I have a friend that almost never removes his wheel, I will give them to him. I like the QR2 shaft which is shorter and won't need as much spacing. I take my wheel off all the time. I even made a cap for the shaft to keep it clean. I use my racing/driving rig as my office and living room chair. Who knows, I might go DD+ but I am almost 60 and not as strong as I was in my youth. I watched you on my Roku and let the commercials play. Hope that helps. I don't watch ads on my PC. I come here to write. Good job.
Pretty handy for those considering upgrading from DD Pro or CSL DD that the distance from the back of the base to the QR is roughly the same - looks to be within about 10mm.
The DD+ original preorder release date of 12/12 has come and gone without any messaging from Fanatec. They have ghosted everyone. Will, would you use some of your pull to get a public message out of them lol. The delay is upsetting but understandable. The lack of communication is not acceptable.
Wait, my dude only has 300k, Will be on a cusp, give it 3 more years and that (already successful) business going to be even bigger. The amount of mainstream coverage sim racing is getting right now means the sector is primed for continued growth. (Massive regions) Kids don’t want to buy cars or drive them IRL but sim titles have shown the ability with hardware like this. You will be 3 million. Good, consistent, quality rises to the top. Your niche is expanding. I hope to see this comment come true by 2026. Keep on being a trusted thorough source for sim related coverage. Cheers,
Excellent work on this video, some points to consider regards the new Force Effects please take 2 mins to read some suggestions or pass on to Fanatec.... Regards DD+ 100% interested in seeing a comparison of FF Vs TF and in particular with GT7, yes please as we also want to learn if the DD+ has its output reduced like what annoyingly happens with the GT PRO wheel. As a Logitech GT Pro owner I am considering also buying the new DD+ wheel for PC & PS5 compatibility. With the i-racing demo you highlighted generally the user is determining the "audio mix" that gets generated Not certain if it uses individual "audio samples" from the game or if it applies pre generated tones for its specific "audio mix" for various effects via this LFE. True Force DRAWBACKS The limiting issue with this is that the GAMES need to have "individual volume controls" for the specific effects elements and in most cases with Logitech TF they dont offer enough control. So the game developers have limited amount of volume/gain sliders to determine what mix is generated. For example if you cannot decrease engine vibration separate from road bumps or road textures (like you showed from i-racing) then the user is not able to create a suitable mix like with GT7. What you end up with is no way to make just bumps stronger and tone down an effect that becomes annoying when you increase the volume/gain. Road surface and feeling wheel slip would be more useful feedback as you found compared to engine. Although, we dont need to feel the engine constant, as can become annoying overpowering if too high, detracting from the general wheels felt sensations. What would be useful is feeling "idle or low rpm" and "inertia", but then also something for "peak torque" or "peak rpm" that also help with gearchanges. Fanatec would be very wise to ask/listen to the community on this and at least with PC, make it possible for the community to do what you were able to do with this pre-production unit. By all means come up with a better alternative with better developer support than what "True Force" has but PLEASE ALSO make it possible that it can work with routed/soundcard based audio if thats what the user wants. This way the community would very quickly be able to use Simhub to create high quality "custom tactile effects" but now directly for the wheel, which costs Fantec nothing and does not require specific title support for a game to developer to have to include. FANATEC - Give the USER the choice of applying 1) No additional haptics 2) Game Delivered Haptics (like TF) 3) Simhub telemetry-tactile generated haptics
In March of 2022 I bought the 8nm GT DD Pro for a total of $1,063.00 with the optional ($140.00) CSL Load Cell Brake Pedal kit. Shipping to the U.S. was $33.00 with a $20.00 package discount. Today you can purchase that same setup for about $100.00 cheaper. I have pretty big arms and I don't see a need to step up to the DD+. The DD Pro 8nm is a great setup with plenty of tweaking options. I'm sure the DD+ is a great product but not worth selling my DD Pro, that's for sure. If you could find a none defected one second hand I'm sure you would be very happy. Maybe I'm another four or five years, there will be some revolutionary changes to justify upgrading from a DD Pro setup.
of course big youtubers get their products sent to them in time but regular paying customers who buy stuff from fantec likely wont get their product til a month or so later smh
Great vid as usual guys, driving on a T150 pro and I'd say an upgrade is well overdue. The only thing holding me back from a csl dd is the extra cost for the qr2 wheel and base side cost so its a bit of a waiting game but this new base maybe an option.
ima just say ive gone from a g27(£200ish) to a t500rs(£500ish) then to a t300(£300) to a csl dd 8nm (as it is now for £450ish) i upgraded from the cog driven wheelbase really fast because the notchiness and noise bothered me so much(thats a me thing) to the t300 which for me was night and day being a belt driven wheel it didnt feel as heavy as the t500 and more responsive.BUT the difference in feel from them wheels to a DD wheelbase is just insanely different its like going from kids plastic toys to grown up full metal toys u feel everything(especially if u like rallying games u feel every wheel individually land its so satisfying)now im not saying it will make u faster as a driver(pretty sure i still have my monza record in ACC with my t300) but for feedback and immersion u get from a DD wheelbase and u can afford it especially now with the price drops i would 100%
I'm still rocking my CSL DD, I am at the point of wanting to upgrade but I'm gonna wait till the base matures a bit. But considering the price and all the features and torque, I think this base is gonna be huge for Fanatec.
