Also? I can see in your background that you are a serious modeler. Nice that FanHome gifted you this subscription.... I on the other hand, will gladly pay monthly. Along with the many OTHER things....Knight Rider, DeLorean, re-starting the Enterprise-D....not to mention Agora Models. Oh well, I don't have a RU-vid presence.
I have been after building a Falcon for many years and was looking to get the lego one but missed the boat on that. Friend of mine just sent me the Fanhome link and think this could be the one for me. Found your youtube so going to sign up myself and look forward to building this over next few years and following you along the way
Thanks for doing this. i was surprised that Fanhome didn't have their own video tutorials, so I was a good investment on their part to send the free kit to you. I will be watching. I hope that when it comes time to weather the model that you will keep in mind that some of us don't have a lot of modelling experience. I would like to follow along with your tutorials and try to weather my own Falcon model. Looking forward to future videos. You are off to a great start.
Thanks. The way I paint and weather and products/ techniques I use will be the same I have used in all my other aircraft build series on the channel. Nothing crazy. Lacquer paints and washes and neat oil paints for weathering.

Ich habe deinen Kanal aboniert. Ich habe jetzt auch mit dem Falcon angefangen. Grüße Mario
Speaking of the 3-in-1 oil? Some of those metal parts are pre-tapped. Just saying. I always check, and always pre-thread with the screw first....even if using the oil.
So, about 1:43 scale? That is very close to many airplane kits that are 1:48. Any modeler also knows 1:32, and 1:144.....ETC. Oddly, many cars are 1:24 or 1:25, and for those into armored vehicles, 1:35. Not sure how THAT tracks......
I think the kit it's self may be good, but the whole subscription is a scam. They market it in stages at a low price, but you never pay the low price. You always get 4-5 stages, extra charges for binder, and added shipping. Add it all up, and you get a crazy high price. If you are ok with that, then fine. But my point is their marketing it like a used car. 2 years is a long time to pay over $80 and to keep focused on the model kit. The 1st box I put together in just minutes and still have to keep the other parts to wait a nother month for the next box. It's a pain in the ass to keep putting stuff up or forced to give up a work space for 2 years.
