My Dad marched for the vote with a group of ministers from across the nation. We collected clothes for years to send south to Ms Hamer. I think she may be the most important woman I've ever seen or heard of. Beyond amazing.
Ms. Fannie Hamer had a powerful voice. I wish I had heard of her when I was in school. The only thing that was taught to us was Martin Luther King Jr. Wow... May she RIP. Giving APTTMH YAH. Amen 😴🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
WOW!!!! Mrs. Fannie Lou Hamer was such an AMAZING WOMAN!!!! Thank you for this channel. I PROMISE TO TELL MY FRIENDS, COWORKERS AND ASSOCIATES TO WATCH THIS SHORT DOCUMENTARY!!!!
I salute you Mrs. Fannie Lou Hamer, my gratitude is beyond words…all of what you did for me, us and all the black people in the world. Sleep well my dear, extraordinary job very well done. I pray that you are recognized from the White House for all of what you have done. That is my prayer….
Beautifully written & and produced. So personal and ripe with feminine emotion. I knew of her being a southerner, but it was very refreshing to meet a personal side of her. My small part in civil rights is also very unknown. I keep saying I'm going to write a book. Maybe I'm old enough to get it done. Now 69, 70 is going to be a great "coming out" year for me!😂❤😊
