To this day, I still find the showrunner's choice to kill off Carl unforgiveable. It is THE most unwarranted death of The Walking Dead. Out of every person in the whole entire series, no one's worth more to keep alive than Carl. He was Rick's foundation for survival. Carl was a symbol for keeping humanity alive and a symbol of Hope for the future. He was the only person I could see replace Rick (a better version of his father). And they killed him, for god knows what stupid reason. And the worst part? The actor, Chandler Riggs, was told that he'd be kept on the show for an additional few more years. He even bought a house in Georgia to be close to the set. And shortly after, he was informed that they're killing him off. I've watched many, many shows, and have seen many of my favorite characters die, but no death has angered me more than Carl's.

Slyer Im sure its probably been tried and thats why they eventually came to the conclusion that cutting out the infection is the only thing that would work. Carl’s bite was on his side and its been at least a day, so all his options are gone.

Carl owned every scene, this was his episode. Carl and Negan had the best scene hands down, it was deep, emotional and heart felt. Negan was heartbroken like we all were. Hats off to Chandler Riggs in the performance he put on his character. U will be missed my dude!
