Everyone shouldve clicked when Judith didn't die at the jail like she did in the comic and carl was reaching full pay age. They had it planned seasons before. I honestly didn't like carl this ep was the only time that I truly enjoyed his character.

Best Twist ever would be if it was a Whisper that bit Carl and the bite wasn't turning him, but just made him seriously ill. If Alexandria wasn't getting destroyed they could have treated him seeing Carl getting better overtime thinking he's immune but in reality it was a Whispers Bite.

All I can think about are the moments when I couldn’t stand Carl. When he was defiant against Lori or Rick, when he wouldn’t listen to anyone, when he felt like he knew everything and when he believed that he was smarter than everyone around him. He was stubborn and hard headed, but those were also his greatest gifts. He refused to let this world turn him into something he’s not. He didn’t let the horrors of the apocalypse turn him into The Governor, or the people in Terminus, or Negan. He stayed true to himself till the very end. Even when he was about to die, he shot himself because he didn’t want to turn into a monster-he wanted die as Carl, and Carl only. He is one of the sweetest, adorable, courageous characters on this show, and the thought of him not being on this show anymore just doesn’t make sense. I am genuinely going to miss him so much.

I liked Carl since season 4 before that he was still a kid the moment when he became a great character was when Rick was in a coma state in a house and the whole episode was about Carl dealing with not having Rick around and he found chocolate pudding , Carl Poppa to the end!!!

AGREED, his flaws are what make him so likeable! even though i feel like his wishes for peace could've been developed a lot better, i really liked that version of Carl. he really could've become an even better leader than Rick, sooo much potential. he _was_ the future of the show. i miss the days when he was just a little stubborn shithead. was nice to see him grow and change. rip TT

Awwww Hannah Ivy, please don't make me reminisce about "baby" Carl. And, yes, sometimes he was hotheaded as a teen, but he was just that ... a teen and he was our Carl!!! Considering the world he grew up in, he was pretty damn cool. It is still hard to imagine TWD without Carl. .... PEACE.

When I saw that episode, I bawled my eyes out for two days.....no lie. I loved Beth, as she was pure, full of love & life, and an understanding for those around her. We all get emotionally involved with characters on our favorite shows, as they represent something deep inside us. Bear McCreary.....his God given gift of music, wrote the best possible soundtrack for that episode...and all episodes.

It was really sad to see Carl go away. He started as a small, young boy in Season 1, then he took on the world as he pleaded for 8 seasons, then he died after helping Siddiq. I was so emotionally sad (Didn't cry) when it happened. I will miss you, Carl. You were the best son any father could ever possibly have. You were the best boy ever, Carl. You were the best boy. All hats down to Carl Grimes. 😔😔😔😔

I'm noticing that Morgan has mimicked horror Icons in a few of these episodes. He was kinda like Jigsaw/Leatherface when he was in Clear mode. Then he was Terminator during the multiple raids, and in this episode he was straight up Jason/Michael Myers. I wonder what he'll be next? 😏😁
