She was on the court for half a second before getting speared lmao. Bet that didn't go the way she was hoping. Also that security guard needs a raise. That reaction time was ridiculous. Almost like he knew she was gonna try some shit
Guarantee they do background checks on everyone in the immediate area around the court. You have to give you name and credit card number to buy a ticket. They know if you’re a season ticket holder or someone who bought the ticket off stubhub. Anything suspicious and you’re probably flagged as soon as you step in the arena. The Wolves owner is too well connected not to be prepared.
Why? He committed assault and battery. If a police officer did something like that, there would have been riots. Remember George Floyd? Derek Chauvin did the exact same thing to George Floyd, but he ended up behind bars.
No, he doesn't. He deserves jail time for felony battery. Sadly, because the NBA pays off prosecutors and police officers, I don't think anything will result of it. At best, some good old fashioned vigilante justice by tracking down the guards involved and doing the exact same thing to them.
Those security guards should be arrested for assault and battery. If Derek Chauvin was convicted of murder simply because he restrained someone and the person he was restraining happened to overdose, then there's no reason why these event security shouldn't be arrested
@@harveyramirez6619 Don’t quote me but my roommate is from Minnesota and he said it is some animal rights protest. Something about the T-Wolves owner eating meat but if that’s the case that has to be the dumbest protest in a while. So I don’t know how valid those statements are
@@harveyramirez6619 It’s an Animals Rights protest against the T-Wolves owner Glen Tayler whom owns a chicken farm and in that farm 5.3M chickens were killed
that security guard that was next to her was not randomly sitting there. He was there because he was watching them. Even the commentators knew who they were.
let them protest !!!! its the only time ive watched a bit of "NET BALL" in my life !!!!! I enjoyed it !!!!!! here in the UK only Women play this GAME and its CALLED "NET BALL" ----- so why do grown Men play this game that WOMEN play in UK !!!!!!! .. its a WOMEN GAME well to be honest if your 10 to 14 years old you might play this in UK !!!!!! says it all really its time to play a PROPER GAME
@@markthoughtswithukrainemas2072 Net Ball and Basketball are 2 different sports with completely different rules. As a matter of fact the Timberwolves Head Coach, coached mens professional level basketball in the UK some years ago so your comments don’t add up to much and reflect more on your ignorance of your own country than any knowledge of what’s proper or not about sport.
Nose ring gave it away. She should be protesting the gov. killing of millions of birds from a disease, trying to disrupt the USA food supply. That so called disease uses the same fake PCR test they used to scam millions of human dupes that the had covid and to get the useless shot.
Impressed by the security guard. Though watching it soem more, the guard is sitting a few seats from the protestor, looking at her. I wonder if they were tipped off or if that guard being there is standard protocol to guard the team owner and his wife.
@@whodoesntlikesurfing So, they should just let them run in the middle of the court and stop the game until the police arrive? That doesn't make any sense. Secure is literally in their name. they are not a reporter guard or a observer guard. They are meant to secure the area and remove any possible threats in they way they are allowed to. She got tackled because they do not know what she had on her, what if she had a knife in her pocket and was rushing one of the players or Glen? It's better to be safe than sorry and tackle her and secure her until the police arrive to arrest or detain her.
@@BeastMode40- Security is hired to serve as a good witness and only because insurance providers won't cover event organizers if they don't hire staff paid to deter crime and keep the peace. What if Ahmaud Arbery had explosives on him? Did that give Travis McMichael and his father the right to detain him? What if George Floyd was a spy working for the Iranians? Did that give the police the right to do what they did?
@@BeastMode40- Security is hired to serve as a good witness; they're hired only because insurance providers won't cover event organizers unless they hire people who help keep the peace, deter crime, and assist in the event of an emergency. And you can't act on hypotheticals. All those "What if" questions could be used to justify what happened to George Floyd. What if he was a foreign spy? What if he could teleport himself?
@@BeastMode40- I'll make it as simple as I can. Security staff are hired to be good witnesses and for insurance purposes, not because anyone actually wants them. And you can't act on a hypothetical. Even the real police can't slam someone to the ground because they *think* that individual has a weapon on them. Look at the George Floyd incident. Even though the police suspected that he had a weapon on him, they still ended up going to jail because they used excessive force and acted on a hypothetical
Nope, there have been instances of crazy fans throughout the history of the NBA. The recent uptick in these incidents are due to fans protesting something non-basketball related regarding the Timberwolves owner. Pinning this all on one person, who has nothing to do with why these fans are protesting, is extremely ignorant and idiotic.
I came here after seeing the first person footage from the blue person who also just got removed. "I paid for this seat..." was a premature ending to an epic perspective.
"WHAT'S GOING ON HERE! OH WOW! SOMEBODY'S RUN OUT ON THE FLOOR!" The quotes are the dramatic, loud voice of one of the commentators. It is my understanding that their has been protests on other days and the lightning quick reflexes of security tackling the protesters on the stadium floor, it's obvious the stadium personal have been prepared. I can't imagine that every employee hasn't been thoroughly trained on what they must do to stop the protests, as well as told not to speak about any of it. Especially those employees who will be speaking to the press, including the TV commentators. Yet, listening to the one commentator practically yell "WHAT'S GOING ON HERE! OH WOW ! SOMEBODY'S RUN OUT ON THE FLOOR!" His loud voice and his loud voice and finally telling everyone watching or listening to his commentary, gives me the funny little feeling he knew what.
why the person recording is being arrested? *anything against the person recording could apply, because the security team knows what she is doing and allows it* so, "authority should pay the wrong action. about the invader: if the security team knows and suspects something: *the security got to act previously, before the act happens,* if it was a gun instead a cellphone, *will you wait till the shot is done?* , good work as "reaction", very wrong and a trash the prevention, that's why some people do bad things as the recently seen
Security was already onto them watching and must've heard them, now see the main ESPN camera didn't show what was going on with the 2nd person, and those women court side was not having it trying to stop her from recording also. Around 0:28 he says "going after" who? Lastly Morants reaction though.
From what I understand, she attempted to impersonate a referee to harass one of the team owners because he owns a chicken farm. This allegedly took place shortly before this segment and I think that guard was posted there to keep her in line. That is how he acted so fast. It was not a split-second thing. He was ready for her. There are a couple of things you'll notice. - The security guard was seated, not standing, in the same row as the woman. - The security guard's head was turned towards that woman the entire time up until she attempted to run out onto the court. On a lesser note, the woman was missing her left shoe. Even when she emerged from her seat, she was only wearing her right shoe.

Which law states that it's illegal to impersonate a referee? Which law states that it's illegal to use your firearm on a security in self-defense? You do know that event security aren't police?
@@markthoughtswithukrainemas2072What I love about the UK is the moment someone says "stupid Americans", two seconds later a drunk idiot smelling like mayonnaise and beer vomit from the UK shouts, "Hey don't forget about us!"
@@markthoughtswithukrainemas2072 Um, and what is the point you're attempting to convey here? Do you even have one? By the way, it's perfectly possible to protest and support a cause without harassing people, disrupting other people's fun, or just being a general nuisance. But no. People like these clowns act like barbarian children when they don't get their way and feel it entitles them to do whatever they want, and people like yourself continue to make excuses for their juvenile behavior. These are grown adults. They have to answer for themselves only. They should know better.
@@whodoesntlikesurfing And what point are you trying to make? Your understanding of how things work appears limited at best, as evidenced by your inability to compose a cogent rebuttal. You're making arguments about things that have nothing to do with this, even in correlation, and nothing I have said is controversial or even worthy of debate. It doesn't seem like you even know what you're saying, or why you're even here. Worst of all, you're just making excuses for their childish behavior. If you're older than 13 and you talk, think, and act like one of these protestors, shame on you. There is no excuse or justification for behaving in such a manner, and any attempt to rationalize it from any perspective (moral, social, cosmic, etc.) would only prove me right. They are grown adults. They have to answer for themselves only. They should know better, and so should you. But I will explain it in a way that even you can understand: card counting isn't illegal either. But that doesn't mean casinos have to allow it, and they don't. They can even stop you from playing for being too good at winning money. Think they can't? It's standard practice, and it's legal. As the saying goes: "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone."
They must be the worst protesters in history. Were they loudly talking to each other about what they planned to do? Because that security guard seemed to know they were about to try something.
The security element at the Target Center most likely knew who these individuals are and had eyes on them as soon as they entered the arena. As long as they don't commit any violation of the entertainment clause on their ticket[you are a paying customer, stay in the areas designated for attendees, i.e. your seat or the public areas], you watch them and if they cross the boundaries, you take them into custody. Animal rights protesters, with a few exceptions, are generally non-violent. If they are the actively violent type, they don't get in the building. Of course, if they damage property or assault an individual, that's a criminal act as well and would be dealt with.
The security don't work for Target Center; they work for a third-party security company contracted by the Timberwolves. And they have no authority to take anyone into custody; they're not police. What they did in the above video is assault and battery. Target Center is publicly owned; unlike other venues like the Madison Square Garden, it is NOT private property. So the hired security have no say about who gets to enter as it's the taxpayer's building. Learn the difference between private and public property.
