When I was like, 5, my family went to Disney for my birthday and I watched this for the first time. My mom told me it was my birthday present from Disney and that they put on the show just for me. I believed it for years, thinking they just kept the show going because it was so awesome and I was just letting them share it with everyone else 😂 now I’m 29 and it still makes me cry.
To be completely honest- my very favorite Disney hero in this show is Mickey Mouse because he performs for the show and puts an end to Maleficent’s villainous tricks while Princess Belle has been my very favorite Disney heroine because she dances with the Beast on their float.
Plus, my very favorite Disney villain in this show is the Magic Mirror because he speaks truthfully to Snow White’s wicked stepmother while Ursula has been my very favorite Disney villainess because she had the right attitude to turn Fantasmic into a weird dream.
better than the 2.0 version. The only thing that version did better were the effects in the show. I say have the new equipment but keep the old soundtrack😁
Excellent editing and great presentation! I had to see this tonight getting after not seeing this for many years and with the show on hiatus! Thanks for filling the void with this wonderful video!
In 2017, this version was revamped and to commemorate its 25th Anniversary, new scenes such as The Lion King were added. But some old scenes were completely removed.
I love the show so much, but for the Disney World (Orlando) version, I do wish that Chernabog would be an animatronic character (just like Maleficent Dragon).
To this day, this version of the show remains the best because it's the one I had my first experience of and no offense to Pirates fans, but I prefer the Peter Pan scenes instead
YES! Thats what I call a dragon!! Disneyland definitely owns this show! I'm sorry but Disney World's is just a horrible copy, my biggest disappointment, their dragon!
+Martin Linnan You know, even with the old dragon, I think Disneyland's version beats the heck out of Disney World's. Disneyland's just flows better, the Peter Pan segment is FAR better than that stupid Pocahontas segment, and overall it just has a better feel to it.
Jorge Gonzalez yeah, the dragon is better and the boat is better in Disneyland, and Disney World gives way better context to the giant snake and has an awesome stage (plus they have seats), they still both have the feeling of magic that makes Disney so special, at least to me.
