Yes! I really enjoyed the food here. I thought the meats were fantastic and a lot of commenters from Texas and other BBQ states have said the barbeque here is looking legit. Glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching Diana!
I’m usually on the fence when it comes to bbq but your descriptions and honest reviews have sold me on this place - adding it to my list for a future trip to Las Vegas! The sides all looked super!
I'm glad you enjoyed! I wouldn't say I'm the pickiest eater but I do call it like I taste it. I hope you enjoy it when you make your visit! Thanks for watching!
Ive seen loads on social media at the moment on The Meat Wagon....hope its on your list! Thanks for the great videos....I'm living vicariously through you in the UK 😀
Hi Shin! Everything looked fantastic. Your descriptions are so amazing. Ok, now you made me really hungry for some good BBQ! Thanks for another great video. 🙂
I would love to see more bbq reviews! Love hearing your critique on bbq you sound like a real authority on the topic. 3 rounds of entrees! Thank you, Shin!!
Thanks for sharing! Everything looks so good! I must venture there next time. I wanted to explore the BBQ Vegas scene last time I visited but was only able to try Dave's BBQ. Didn't get to make it to Road Kill Grill. Next time... 👍
I think Big B's is worth trying for sure. I hope you like it if you give it a go. I haven't been to Road Kill myself either. One day! Thanks for watching!
Awesome video! Beef ribs are my favorite and this seemed like a miss in that regard, but everything else looked like a hit… I will definitely check this place out… Thank you! Keep up the good work :)
Looks SO good! And nice that you got it comped! BTW the mustard sauce is a South Carolina thing - very different from eastern and central North Carolina sauces.
Interesting. I didn't know it had its roots in South Carolina. I just always heard it being called a Carolina BBQ sauce or Carolina Gold so I assumed it was a general Carolina thing. Good to know! Thanks for watching!
You are making me hungry Shin...wishing I could BBQ for the 4th of July...Enjoy your Holiday tomorrow you deserve it with all your hard work between both of your jobs..❤
Thank you! I'll be working tomorrow for the 4th so not too much of a break unfortunately lol. I hope you have a great Independence Day! Thanks for watching!
Shin this place is amazing. I do not like bbq lol but love theirs. I have been using them monthly for catering at our office and in addition to amazing food their customer service is outstanding. The owner is wonderful and you should interview him about how he goes to Texas to get that wood. He’s even delivered our order when someone hit his driver on the way to our office, called me personally to explain and the food still arrived hot. Great review, they deserve it.
That's incredible to hear and mirrors my experience with Brian. He was really great and cares a lot about the food. I'll see if I can highlight him more if I do a return video. Thanks for watching!
WOW EVERYTHING REALLY LOOKS SO GOOD AND THE PRICE IS GREAT. I WILL CHECK THIS PLACE OUT ON MY NEXT VEGAS VISIT. THANKS FOR SHARING ANOTHER EXCITING TO WATCH VIDEO, KEEP UP THE INCREDIBLE JOB SHIN 👍🏼😁👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😋😋😋😋😋😋
Another great video. I tried 2 restaurants that you've reviewed on my most recent Vegas trip. I normally research a lot of restaurants to try before my visits and your videos help minimize it 😅. Thanks
BBQ Brisket is my favorite and the one here looks fantastic 🥰 My go to would be beef ribs .. brisket..baked beans and corn on the cob...yumm 😋 Thanks Shin for a great review 👍💯
I think it's also referred to as Carolina Gold sauce. I love mustard BBQ sauces. I didn't as a child but as an adult, I prefer it over standard BBQ sauces now. Thanks for watching!
Hi buddy 😊...nice cozy atmosphere ...all the food looked superbly cooked, nice and juicy 😋😉...the best was the dessert 😂😂😂...have a fun and safe 4th of July, til Sat 🤗😊❤
Yes! I loved this place. Great food, great atmosphere, and friendly staff. It was great. Happy 4th to you as well and I'll catch you on Saturday! Thanks for watching!
Wow that entire meal made me so hungry for BBQ. I am looking forward to having some BBQ on the 4th of July. I think I would have been disappointed in the corn muffin too as they are my favorite. Just plain corn muffins with actual corn kernels in the muffin with honey butter is my preference. My only critique would be the plastic silverware. I realize it’s a relaxed atmosphere restaurant with trays and tray papers that often lose real silverware but just prefer real silverware. Happy 4th of July. 🇺🇸🎆
Yes! I don't know who decided barbequed meats was the food of choice for our Independence Day but I'm glad they chose it lol. Happy 4th to you! Thanks for watching!
Ok, now I NEED to get to Vegas some day for sure. This place looked so great, all the meats looked tender and juicy. So jealous lol. Awesome video Shin ^_^
Great review Shin we are going to try this place! Make sure you don’t miss Rudy’s BBQ in Phoenix if you go, it’s awesome Texas BBQ I’ll drive there and buy your lunch anytime. How does Shin not have 100K subscribers!
I will keep Rudy's in mind if I find myself in Phoenix. I was actually in Phoenix for work just before the lockdowns started so I might find myself there sometime. Thanks for watching!
That looked like some legit BBQ. I think you liked the sauce more than the meat...haha. I keep saying you can't go wrong with Phil, he has good taste, and is one cool dude.
It's not that I love the sauce more than the meat, but it's the sauce and the meat at the same time that's the magic with BBQ. And I love me some LasVegasFill. He's a great guy. Thanks for watching!
I'm somehow surprised I'm still over 20,000 to be honest with you. That's an arena full of people. I think that's crazy. I appreciate the support though! Thanks for watching!
VWS: As a Tennessee resident who onced lived in Memphis I can spot legit BBQ. The cost was more than fair and given your review this restaurant should go on everyone's must visit list. Thanks for the vlog see you Saturday Peace ✌️
I've been getting similar comments from folks in Texas as well who can spot good BBQ so I'm happy you all agree. I really liked it here. It was great. Thanks for watching and catch you Saturday!
@VegaswithShin I think is the 1st I've seen you authentically enjoy each food item ( body language) plus it was quite inexpensive for the quality & quantity. Happy July 4th Shin.
@@VegaswithShin thank you so much 😊. I really appreciate it. Great meal ✅. A big potato like that at my grocery store is $1.50. But w/ the bacon & Brisket & The works. I think it’s still a great deal Have a great 4th 💥🔥Stay Safe 👍
I'm glad you liked it! I used to scoop ice cream in high school for Haagan-Dazs and I was a server/host for Denny's in college but otherwise no culinary experience. I just love food and I do cook at home. Thanks for watching!
I've been dreaming about this place! Thrilled to see you did a review. I didnt see the baked potatoe on the menu though? Also, any idea what size the sides were? Didn't see the desserts listed either 🤔. As usual, another Top notch view. Thank you Shin!
The baked potato was a special that was written on some paper near the menu but it was $14 I believe. Very good stuff here! They didn't have a dessert menu, just a display of them at the counter. Thanks for watching!
Aloha ShIn! The sound quality was better on this video. You didn’t sound muffled. I would love that 1st plate with some rice. Mahalo for your big bites and big words!
Nice! I'm happy to hear the sound quality was better. I think it has a lot to do with the general audio in the restaurants I'm at. I too love some rice with BBQ! Tasty. Thanks for watching!
Other Texans in the comments have given their stamp of approval as well! The owner Brian (Big B) grew up in Texas so it makes sense. Thanks for watching!
Great video Shin and just in time for Fourth of July!! I dont usually eat bbq out, cause expensive and dry, but that all looked great!! I think I'll be checking it out. Question, do you know how much the baked potato was? I didn't see it on the menu. Have a Happy and safe Fourth.
This was this past Sunday around 2pm - 4pm. The restaurant was never empty. I think at the fewest there were 3 other tables excluding us so I can imagine their meal time rushes are substantial. Thanks for watching!
Big B's in Henderson is my go to BBQ place when I visit Las Vegas. I love this restaurant. What's convenient, if you have a heart attack while eating, at least it's close to the St. Rose Dignity Hospital. 🤣
I've eaten there a couple of times, but have stayed away from the turkey because it's always dried out at BBQ joints, however, that turkey looks great.
That looks really good. I did pass by it today when I was going from Costco to Seafood City and saw the Texas BBQ sign. I’m always a fan of cheddar jalapeño sausage and that looked pretty good. I’ll try it out next time in that area
Shin you must have a very good job to afford the spreads you have in your restaurant food reviews...no other youtuber comes close to the money you spend in your reviews..we love your videos keep up the great work Shin
I have a day job but it's more that I don't live a lavish lifestyle. I'm far past my drinking and partying days and I mostly sit at home and play the same 2 video games after work. So every dollar I make off RU-vid goes right back into the channel and it doesn't take as much of my own day job money anymore, except for months with steakhouse videos. Those tend to pull more from my personal funds. Thanks for watching!
He says in the first few seconds of the video that he’s coming to us from Henderson on the east side of the Las Vegas valley so I think he’s at the one you go to
@@jayyes2442 Right you are. I missed the first few seconds. What I also like about Big B's is they have great French fries and, just like Five Guys, provide malt vinegar for the fries.
Tyvm and yqw buddy ...btw, better late than no video 😉...I got it around 8 pm ( East Coast Time ) while watching it, I fell 😴 🤦...norm sleep time for me 😋...rewatched it after I got up 👍
I think if I was going off my own dime, I would have maybe added a sandwich but otherwise it would have been about the same. I think it was just that Big B's really delivers on value. When I was calculating at the end I couldn't believe everything I got was around $100. That amount of food on the strip would easily be over double that price easy. Thanks for watching!
And yet another great video give me the turkey the brisket the beans and the corn the ribs were the size of Flintstones ribs and the banana pudding yumo have a great week of I forgot the baked potato ❤❤❤
I smiled through this whole video! I'm from South Carolina and I'm a heretic. I like SC BBQ, but I LOVE TX BBQ. Beef ribs, brisket and hot links!! And seriously $100...bargain! So glad you got to do this and show us!!!
I was talking to the owner of Big B's and he agreed that when he first opened, there wasn't a lot of good BBQ options in Vegas but more are popping up and I'm looking forward to trying them. Thanks for watching!
@@VegaswithShin "Rollin Smoke" also has some good beans; their beef rib is massive and tender ( check their beef ribs out on yelp ). " Jessie Rae's" has some of the best pork ribs I've tasted.
Sorry Shin, but if you've only previously had dry turkey and tri-tip not to mention not that great of a BBQ chicken from legit BBQ joints there in Vegas - it's because they were sucky BBQ joints lol Good BBQ places, the turkey and meats should almost always come out moist and juicy still. That's kind of the point of "low and slow" after all, not to mention wrapping the brisket or ribs etc. in paper or whatever to seal in the juices. Turkey can be harder to pull off, but if Terry Black's and other places in Texas have shown me, it's quite easy to smoke turkey etc. and keep them quite moist inside. Now the weather does play a part in how the final product comes out not to mention the abilities of the pitmaster or the other people involved in the smoking process. Also, and this is a pet peeve of mine more than anything, but I really don't like "falls off the bone" as a descriptor when it comes to BBQ. As I've mentioned in other videos now (not that you remember every single rando comment from people lol) but I had actual culinary training at the CIA, and meat that falls off the bone is literally and figuratively overcooked. Of course, when it comes to BBQ/smoked meat it'll still be tender and juicy, but it's still overcooked :D
That could be something. Maybe the natural lack of moisture in Vegas has something to do with it. I've literally never thought of that. I love the comments section for this reason. I learn so much. I've heard that about fall off the bone that it means that it's technically overcooked but I don't know, it still just works so well for BBQ. I love it lol. Thanks for watching!
@@VegaswithShin No, I don't think it has anything to do with the humidity (or lack thereof lol) in Vegas. After all there are some very famous BBQ spots in Arizona and New Mexico etc. and both states are very Las Vegas like in their weather and humidity (most of the time). And I've had incredible turkey and chicken in Arizona and New Mexico. Plus, I mean, you are burning dried out dead wood after all, there's not much moisture involved lol (though some spots do use the moisture pan/water pan in the smoker to add steam, I don't think competition BBQ allows it though)
Shin recommendations please: 1) best no frills Buffett 2) best “affordable” steakhouse 3) best family fun restaurant Can be anywhere near or in Vegas area Thanks love your videos, when’s the merch coming ???
Hm, I'd say 1) South Point Garden Court Buffet 2) I hear Herbs and Rye is the place to go for a good value on a steak dinner but I haven't been myself. When it comes to steakhouses, the price increases to get a tier above is not that much from the base price so it's hard to say here. I'd personally recommend Gordan Ramsay Steak or Bazaar Meats as my favorite steakhouses on the strip. 3) For a fun family environment, I actually like Happy Camper Pizza. It's an outdoor layout so the kids can get some fresh air and it's a great environment. Pizza feels universally liked for families and I recently tried the hot honey pepperoni on Norma's channel and it was great. Merch will happen when I can get past a few more things I need to do first. I have a lot on the plate currently lol. Thanks for watching!
