Hello and welcome to my channel! I'm a resident of the fabulous city of Las Vegas and I'm a huge lover of all things food! I'm on a personal quest to vlog all restaurants on the Las Vegas strip, downtown on Fremont Street, and all the major resorts around the valley. I'll be checking out many local Vegas eateries along the way as well!
I visit tourist focused locations like the strip and downtown for Saturday videos and local restaurants on Tuesdays. Be sure to tune in!
Every restaurant is a buffet if you're willing to pay - Vegas with Shin
I know I've said it before, but I SOOOOO appreciate your palate and the evocative descriptions of all the flavor elements you give us! Excellent work, as always. Can't believe someone hasn't snapped you up as a "professional" food reviewer.
Boy, our experience at Diablo's in April was SO different...salsa that tasted like spaget sauce, tasteless Guac. Our entrees were also disappointing. Having eaten Mexican food in SoCal for 30 years, we were so surprised. Maybe Diablo's has a consistency problem
Place looks AMAZING. I love a good diner experience, and this one looks great. Sad about that patty melt, though! Tuna melt looks good, but I'd need some mater on there :P I think I'd probably have to go breakfast and do the pancakes and some eggs and bacon and find someplace else for my favorite patty melt :) Thanks Shin!
Thanks for showing Diablo's some love! We ate there on our last trip, family went back the next day because it was so good! This coming from former South Bay residents used to Redondo/Torrance Mexican food! FWIW, rajas are "strips", usually poblano peppers cut into strips. Rick Bayless talks them up extensively on his channel. Thanks again for all your hard work eating around Vegas! Love your content!
Chicken pozole looks super yummy prob would be the only reason foe me to go back , i had a very average meal there before , too bad I skipped the pozole
Another great video, Shin. Thanks for taking the time to make such an informative video. I like how you often feature restaurants on the south end of the strip. Most people focus on center strip, so I enjoy seeing food options on the south end.
Shin Great content 👍 I was there 2 months ago diablos cantina Enjoying with fam , Delicious mexican food, excellent Speechless flavor ... not so cheap at the end.. but really worth it... Greetings shin 🙌
This food looked amazing. I usually fill up on a million chips & salsa so by the time my food comes, I am too full to eat it. Ha ha. The dessert looked interesting so I would have to try it. I too love the fried ice cream balls. I had received a recipe from Disney many years ago and it was incredible. Thanks for the video. Just dodging back to back tornados and storms. 🌪️🌪️🌪️
Nathan's and Diablo's Cantina is what we eat at Luxor! The Aguachile Shrimp Ceviche is really good! The Trio Fajitas is the best for someone who wants to try each of the proteins!
Really enjoy your videos! There’s a lot of reviewers out there but no one comes close! Your format, content, food knowledge and personality beat them all!
Hello Shin! I’ve stayed a few times but never take the time to eat there! I’ll make sure I’ll check this place next week! I think I know when you say yes it’s good - for me I think you want to say it’s ok! Because you’re a nice person and you don’t want to say anything bad! I noticed the margaritas are $16! Expensive for me!
I hope you like it when you visit! I very rarely if ever have had something I thought was truly disgusting on the channel. Usually at worst it's OK and just a few tweaks and it would be really good. But I'm sure I'll eventually come across something. Thanks for watching!
Always enjoy your in depth reviews. So much so I don't bother with other Las Begas reviewers. You spoil us. As far as this review, it appears to me that overall, the food was just 'good.'
I'm happy to hear you enjoy my videos! Lots of other great creators out there but if you only have time for one, I'm glad it's me lol. Thanks for watching!
@@VegaswithShin I have time to watch other Las Vegas reviewers. You by comparison try more menu items which saves the consumer guessing what is more attractive to eat.
The interesting thing is the timing of this video. In all of the years I have spent in Vegas, I have never been to Diablo's Cantina at Luxor (or Mirage). I was actually talking with a friend about possibly checking out the Luxor location next week or the week after. I am going to take the timing of this video's release as a sign that I should definitely make sure to go there soon.
It's a sign! I hope you like it! I must have walked by Diablos at least 100 times and never felt compelled to try it but I'm glad RU-vid is making me try everything lol. I was pleasantly surprised. Thanks for watching!
Mexican food is delicious 😋 I also love shrimp dishes. And my usual order is the fajita trio, kind of like you had. One thing I have never had is the chicken pazole. I do love soups usually, so I don't know why I have not gotten it so far. I did try a menudo once and did not like it. So, I think I might have been staying away from soups because of it. 😊 As always, it's been great watching your review.
Great review and thanx ! It all looked great but don't seek it out and I live in LA lol ... That's just me ....rather go for Chinese or Italian cuisine. ❤❤ now I wont turn it down if ya put it front of me but just as a snack not dinner.. Keep the reviews coming....!!
You have no idea how much I LUV Mexican food, when I immigrated to the US in 1975 my first friend was Lupe,And hes mom made the best TACOS.I LUV YOUR VIDS.
I think Diablo's has an excellent value-to-food quality ratio for an on-Strip restaurant. I admittedly didn't have the highest expectation for Diablo's when I tried them for the first time back in May at the Luxor............but I had $20 of dining credit for them via myVEGAS Rewards and I wanted to make the most of it and.............while I had to be very careful and emphatic in them accommodating my plant-based diet by requesting no cheese and sour cream...............it was unquestionably worth it. 😊 I'm not going to say I was blown away or anything because I wasn't..............but the bang for your buck is excellent there without coming too much at the expense of food quality. I'd consider the food quality decent as a whole. And as far as drinking is concerned, the bang for your buck is even more impressive considering their LARGE sizes including their $25 45-Ounce frozen margarita. 🙂 So while I think Diablo's is obviously no Toca Madera, Casa Playa, Border Grill or Cañonita..............it isn't trying to be them in the first place. Diablo's knows what it is and it isn't trying to be anything it's not (mid-range casual dining), and it is really good for what it is. I'd even go so far to argue I prefer Diablo's over Javier's at Aria which is definitely a compliment for Diablo's. 😊 I'm enjoying your reviews immensely, thanks soooooooo much! 🥰
I'm enjoying reading your detailed comments! I'm in full agreement with you. Diablos knows who its target audience is and the food is solid. Certainly not a Javiers like you say, but they do have some good flavors here. Thanks for watching!
@@VegaswithShin And I genuinely and graciously will take them over Javier’s: which in my opinion is arguably the single most overrated Mexican restaurant on the Strip because it has abysmal value, the portion sizes are small for the most part (like, Giada’s small 😳) and the food quality is mediocre. That’s just my hot take of course. 🥰 But hey: can’t wait to see you run the gamut with all those restaurants and respecting what you have to say. 😇
How nice of the Manager to give you an employee discount! 🥰 I am not a fan of Mexican food, but enjoyed your review anyway. I have stayed many times at the Luxor, but never dined at Diablo's Cantina. Probably will give it a pass only because Mexican food is not a preference of mine. Thanks Shin for the great review as usual 💯👍
I was also very thankful the manager gave me the discount. That was very nice of him. Thank you for watching when Mexican food isn't your thing! I appreciate the support for me and the channel. Thanks Allie!
Damn Shin your spanish pronunciation is pretty damn good i must say... That "queso fundido" was smooth and sounded pretty much like native speaker. Keep it up Shin!!! 🔥🔥🔥
You know I am a fan of your reviews. I have to say this is the first review from you that made me crazy for the food. Yeah, that was pretty good! Thank you
