Hi Coders WeThinkCode applications are now open. 😃 In this video I will be answering some of the questions that I get on my dms. Do follow me on socials: @the_brandcodes on all platforms 💫
I literally just got accepted and this is the exact video i needed to inform me. Thank you so much it was so helpful. I wish there was more videos like this.
The peer to peer learning......eish. I am quiet and keep to myself and when I needed help I HAD to ask for it. I had no choice. Bootcamp can teach you a lot apart from tech. I would like to know what projects do you work on in your first year?
I've watched so many of these videos before going to the 6 day selection and none of them mentioned how hard it is there, you need to go there already knowing how to code. We deal with python there but knowing any other language is a bonus. The people working there help when you ask but otherwise you're on your own. They don't teach you how to code.
Experiences are different, but you don’t need to have prior experience, there are people who have made it to the cohort without coding experience but because they showed grit and willingness to learn. And on my first year experience video I explain that it is a ‘peer-to-peer’ learning environment which means there are no lectures, you learn on your own, google and the people around you.
Hey ,I’m a first year I’m joburg coming from the east rand ☺️,just wanted to know what’s the best way to tackle second year because from what I hear things are about to get worse
So for the 1 week bootcamp did you guys have to organise accommodation by yourself if in case you are from another province or they accommodate you for that one week ??
Question, will they allow you a retake on the assessment? I was in the process of completing it but our connection got cut off and I had no idea the timer continued. I addressed the matter and sent them a email, do you think it's possible?
Hi,i just passed an online assessment and have been invited to a 6 day bootcamp...what advice and stuff do you recommend i should use in preparation for the bootcamp ❤️
I think it depends with an individual, a month you get a chance to improve every week but you are learning C. 1 week you only have that one chance to prove yourself but it’s python 🤷🏾♀️
I am glad you found it informative. I am not sure hey, the waiting list thing is new. When one failed the assessment, they would wait until the next year to apply again.
