I didn't experience purging with any essential oils. But certain carrier oils did irritate my skin. She does both, I am 48 and I love love love sweet almond oil. I watched all of Christine's natural care videos and learned so much. I would recommend that your Mom start there. I cannot believe the difference in my skin, so hydrated. I don't have a lot of acne so I skip the essential oils. Just using the almond oil has improved my skin. I hadn't realized how drying my face lotions were. Hope this helps. Also, the clay mask once a week is great for clearing the skin. Happy Holidays

I have very oil skin and was on the fence for a long time about using oil on my face and once i started using oil, my skin seems to be balance, the oil production seem to be at a happy medium. I use clary sage with almond oil and i love it. keep up the great work. you are my inspiration

Hi, orthodontics are typically done for bite correction. Many will seek treatment because of cosmetic reasons, but once in the office, will find out that they need bite correction. When kids are young and still have their 'baby' teeth, a lot can be done in phase I ortho to prevent or make phase II less complicated. Ex: making space for permanent teeth to erupt, widening/correcting jaw, aligning bite, etc. Think of it as preventing a tooth traffic jam. Orthodontics is rarely cosmetic:)

I've been using Dr. Bronner's Magic All in One Oil soap to clean and it's amazing. You can mix with water and put in a spray bottle or use on its own. A little goes a long way. :)

I absolutely LOVE your videos. you don't need to change one bit :) I feel like we're best friends! haha. would you mind sharing your routine for using your frankincense? (do you put it all over your face, how long do you leave it on, how much to use at once) and also with the tea tree + lavender... I've been having a lot of skin issues lately and I'm looking for a really good solution. I would love to try them!!

Don't remember if I said this before but sometimes I go shopping in my closet for clothes - especially when I can't find just the right thing to wear. But, I have purged to the point now that I will probably need to seriously go "shopping". And I have also put the make out 2013 into full gear around my home - except, I confess, I couldn't resist buying some new Tarte lip sticks and eye shadow pencils. :(

I use witch hazel with a few drops of peppermint for toning and cleansing my face. I also use it for the summer months to keep me dry under my bra line, back of my legs, face, hairline etc. It has a very funny smell so make sure you use an oil like peppermint or grapefruit etc to make it smell better. Really cleans and keeps your skin dry from sweat and oil..:)

Oh, I hope you see this...I didn't think about this question until now: what do you do to protect your face from the sun? Do you first put the oils & then sunscreen on your face? Or are there oils that actually act as a sunscreen on your face?

Oh please please please do the video about the DIY serum! I just watched the DermTV video and Dr Shultz only says that DIY serums made from lemons or limes aren't effective. He didn't say a thing about using actual ascorbic acid! I would love to see how you make yours.

Rose hips are a natural source of vitamin c, so it's likely that you already have a serum in the Rose Hip Oil that you're using.

I would be interested in seeing a video where you share what you like about living in Hawaii, and what you dislike about living in Hawaii. :)

Re: the vitamin C serum..I posted a video a month or so ago. I read Dr Schultz statement but frankly, I am not prepared to pay £30 for a serum and there is definitely tangible improvement when using homemade...so I will risk it being less effective! lol :) Great video Christine...I am loving the oils!!!

I was hoping you could do a video on how you got rid of the milia/bumps under your eyes - ive had these tiny bumps under my eyes for years and whenever i put concealer on it just makes it look cakey :( - any tips? thnx in advance!

I got milia from eye cream so I stopped using anything under the eyes and they really need some help.So you do feel its safe to lightly put some oil under the eyes? Before I order the lavender/tea tree oil can you please tell me if it smells like the original tea tree?The scent of the original just kills me as I have a heightend scense of smell. xoCathy

Also, if you want to start your own channel, don't bug other people asking them to go to your channel (privately, in comments etc.). It's very annoying and a major turn off. Do it because you have fun doing it, not because you want to be famous.

I love watching Dr. Shultz too, but I take what he says with a grain of salt. Doctors don't know everything (trust me I'm married to one). Also, as a businessman it would be prudent to tell patients not to make their own skincare when you are selling your own line. My acne NEVER improved under the care of a doctor. I cured it by researching healthy/raw diets, juicing, supplements and natural and simple skincare. Still trust my doctor, just realized his knowledge is limited. ;)

Have you noticed that our society is geared towards having EVERYTHING lure you into buying a product? If you realize that, then your purchasing habits change. Just one of my recent observations. :)
