@@lum26akua28For people like me, a bad ending ruins the entire experience. It doesn't matter that the first 6 meals in a 7-course dinner are the best things I've ever eaten if the 7th is a dinner plate with 1kg of catshit on it. Though in this game it would be dogshit for 3 of the 7, because Faith and music-box man are in it.

The second time Faith bliss-naps you was when I realized the story was never going to recover. It had already nose-dived by that point, but then it was set in stone. The third guy did nothing to help, either.

Pretty sure the implication is he has cult members in high military and governmental positions, and they all push the nuclear buttons when he says so. It's one of the many reasons this game's story is dumb as all hell.

In terms of world and villains, I think FC5 is definitely the best but also the 2nd most mundane next to FC primal. I've never fully beat FC5 as I just get too board during the 2nd and 3rd act but It's still a solid experience non the less.

I wish I quit after act 1. Act 2 and 3 are just... Abyssmal from a story point. The ending is a trashfire, and really just served as a way to justify New Dawn.

God Ubisoft points were so cool, do achievements get free coins to spend on in game loot ( a proper loop for micro-transactions using 100% of the game to encourage interaction. ) but now that they expire and hard as f! To farm there kinda shiiiii. Plus’s you can just buy them with real cash now, but they still expire!

I really enjoyed the gameplay of Far Cry 5, but the story quickly became beyond insufferable for me. The scripted deaths of the main antagonists are all extremely underwhelming for how much you are meant to despise them, to say nothing of Joseph functionally having Gary Stu levels of plot armor in every cutscene.

Completely agree. With a completely different writing team writing the main story, this might have been a real banger of a game. But they didn't, so it's a real mud splat.

This game could have been good. But sadly the writers said "No, this game must shit itself just like Bioshock Infinite did." Not to mention how it literally stops you from having fun by intermittently kidnapping you and submitting you to the torture that is the main story. Faith and Hunting-man might be the least fun or interesting villains I've ever experienced.
