Ah yes. Here we have what is known as "The breakening of Ray Saga". Now this specific game didn't cause him to be the man he is today, no that was Pokemon Stadium Two, but this, this is where it all started. Watch in awe as the cracks begin to appear. Oh wow today we got to see the range of Ray’s emotional response when it comes to playing Pokémon. Just the jovial chillness of BD/SP, to the defeated despair of losing to rival only to face the elite four all over again, to the pure pog-champ of dugtrio’s legendary sweep. Holy shit, totally the best comp choice to complement todays stream. So well done!

So some math for you, Lapras had 5 first turn wakes back to back. In Pokémon stadium, they stay asleep for 1-3 turns. 33% chance to wake on first turn. To have done that for ALL FIVE IN A ROW, they would’ve needed to hit a 1/243 chance. But if you ask Gavin, it’s 50/50

Ray, I’m unsure you’ll ever see this. I grew up playing this game on the N64. I literally cried because of how unfair this game was (I was a fetus when this came out). So your pain is incredibly accurate. Mad props to you actually beating this bullshit ON A RANDOMIZER!
